This is the first speed run I’ve seen that has minimal mistakes and looks like it’s actually getting optimized. Great work and excellent use of the disc!
@@sirtymoo The pause I was talking about is the one right when you teleport so you don’t get sent back, but they’re both pretty hard. I just spam pause until I get the right frame, but you have to be perfect for the other one. I can definitely imagine how annoying getting the right frame would be during a run. I’m able to get it somewhat consistently now, but it’s still really satisfying to pull off. The wheel warp to get the cheat ring was still more difficult though
But knowing the 2nd frame perfect pause will open up moor rooms to ww to now thanks… i had thought of doing that but always got the room above didnt know the pause again for no collision sad
i love speedruns that instantly let you skip to the finish using a game breaking glitch. pokemon yellow, rain world... gotta be one of my favorite genders 🙏
Crank the platform to that position, jump in, and if you timed it right you bounce off the platform under the water and it just launches you upwards. No jumping required.
the 16-notes songs takes you to a secret location, but somehow if you position yourself simultaneously on the floor and bubble, and time it right, you warp into the wrong position by some bug.
Since you are good at the timing of the frame perfect pause ! I finally got it 16m run! Theres another one i need you to do for me I got it working just keeps teleporting me back from the room up the ladder from peacock and do r u l d l d l d tele to cheater room.. u need fast flute or flying to stand on ur bubble at the top left hole of the chinchilla rabbit room..
Yes, and there’s a video by Plant explaining it. If you land on the bubble the same frame that you finish the flute song, it’ll overwrite the Y position of the flute teleport with the bubble’s. Then you need to open inventory on the exact frame to avoid collision detection with any kill zones / water if applicable

This is the main ending, but there’s also the True Ending as well as the other secret ending speedruns as well. There are also categories for No Major Glitches which do not abuse the wrong warp
The tunic transformation at the end entirely flabbergasted me lol. I don’t think I’ll ever know all of this game’s secrets
its holding jump button
@@maxmeepmeep991oh bc of the prayer mechanic, that's a cute reference

You should see the current world record, I’m nowhere close anymore and it so clean
Ah yes. The spoiler free speedrun!
That bubble warp was so clean!!! WHAT!! Good job man
After actually trying that bubble warp, I respect this run a lot more. I was able to get it eventually, but that pause timing is insane
It’s a bit tricky to get the right pause frame, but sometimes you get lucky on the first pause heh

Wow that is super hard for the timing

It always amazes me how people find out about these strats, even more with the game barely being 1 month old.
so smooth. really nice !

You are the frisbee god
You should see the current world record, it’s unreal with the frisbee strats
More faster then Dunkey Beat Bowsers Big Beans Burrito
I just wana know how you do the water platform jump at the beginning
Crank the platform to that position, jump in, and if you timed it right you bounce off the platform under the water and it just launches you upwards. No jumping required.
Dont press any inputs though.
That was sick!
Unhinged
What was that transformation at the last second of the video?
tunic

@@A_Name136fine, but how? (I can’t be bothered to go dig up my notes from Tunic to figure it out 😅)
The tunic transformation is simply holding down the jump button 😉
shouldn't the discovering of the flute music sheet be in the run as well?
Good stuff
which flute song are you playing for the bubble warp? is it the totem icons song?
I think it’s the bud song since it’s 16 notes long
Cool man, very cool

Wait... what ?
Insane
I was so glad to see that game having a CRT shader, and it hurts my eyes and soul seeing people willingly paying without it...
It does make inputs a lot easier to see without it… I turn it off every once in a while, even though I think overall it definitely adds to the vibes
The CRT shader hurts my eyes, can’t play with it sadly.
Imagine having preferences.........

But this is only one of the endings right?
Are there different any % categories for the different endings,or everyone is running this one?

Did you activate the wolf dude just so you could deathwarp all that time later?
I think disc is required to do some jumps on the way to the bubble wand
Both reasons. Although I can’t take credit for the route itself, other runners developed it first
