Awesome how-to video, appreciate the details. I got the Peak version of these and this made it a breeze, especially knowing about getting that bolt from up top with some long extensions. Thanks man!
great video, thank you for uploading this, I noticed you loosened the lower spindle bolt but didnt have to take it off..maybe you did that just in case you had to>?.. I am in the process of getting these exact shocks, do you feel any improvement in the ride quality with these over stock?
Hi V. Yeah I removed it in case I needed the wiggle room to get the strut out but turns out I didn’t need to. The coil overs have been great. Comfortable ride and eliminated a lot of the bounce after you hit bumps, etc. I highly recommend them.
@@JasonSmith883 what height did you set them at. I just bought this kit to put on my 22 Z71. And did you run the 1 inch Eibach blocks in the back as well.
I left the rear stock. The eibachs come pre-set for a 2” level. After installing them I let the suspension settle for a week then made sure the ground to fender height was even all around.
Hey, truck looks awesome. I saw where you took before measurements ground to fender but did not see where you took the after measurements. Would you mind sharing that info? Thanks.
@@JasonSmith883 Awesome, good ride height. Looks good with that tire wheel combo! Ive got 2” blocks in the rear of mine and it’s a little too rear high over the front. I am probably going to yank a half inch out and leave it at 1.5” up in the rear. That’ll give me about a 1” rake then.
Hey man, I ended up with 2” of lift in front so I’m Level front to back now. The eibachs come set from factory to make the truck level so the height they come prepped at will depend on the vehicle they’re ordered for.
@@JasonSmith883 I’m installing these and Eibach rear shocks tomorrow. I’m going to try and stuff 275/65/18 in my 2021 Canyon Elevation. My stock tire is 265/65/18. 🤞🏻. Your setup looks dope as hell. I just checked out those rims on their website. Very legit! How does the coil overs ride?
Coil overs are great. The ride is difficult to describe because it’s not firm but eliminates a lot of bounce that the stock suspension has. I’m very happy with the coilovers. Probably going to grab the rear shocks soon too
@@JasonSmith883 by that description of that I think it will be just what I want. Yeah Eibach claims their rear shocks will eliminate the hop or whatever you call it from the rear end going of bumps at high speeds and help you ride control. I figured for $114 each why not get them after dropping that money on those coil overs what’s another $220.
I did a eibach lift on my 2016 Colorado. I love it, definitely feels like a truck now.
Bro how would you say it handles on the trials ? Do the coilovers handle good are they stiff or do you get a lot of bounce ??

Crows foot wrench kit will help a lot
Please do an overall review of vehicle performance since you got the shocks~!
Consider it done
Nice
I threw these on my 08 GX470. They're amazing! My truck handles much better now.
Are you using the stock upper control arms?
Did the Eibachs come assembled and ready to go ? I have a 2019 RST with 20s and want to get this and run some 17-18 with a beefy tire .

Hi @@erichunter5231 I’m level all around. I measured center of fender to the ground and it’s around 35” all around.

Thanks SKS. The truck is leveled at 37.5”.

Thanks thus video made this look alot less daunting to do myself also after 4 months do you still like em? Would you buy again
I would absolutely buy them again. They’ve been outstanding in all aspects.
@@JasonSmith883 that's great to hear I'll definitely be buying when they restock
Hey bud, how much lift did you end up with in front, did you have to adjust them ; or just installed as is, preset by Eibach?

100% agree!
So do you like the Eibach 2.0 ?
How many inches of lift did you set them at?
Hi Wyatt. They’re set at a 2” level from factory. I’m 37” ground to fender all around.
