The Eibachs are so underrated, they handle phenomenal in conjunction w/ they’re reservoir shock! I’ve been running them for several months now…no complaints. For the money you’ll stoked you went with them!!
We 100% agree. We have them on the in house Ranger and they have proven to be a really great set up. The rear reservoir update was surprising a really amazing upgrade. We're loving everything about them right now.
@@Sandbergo7 I’m my opinion, between on/off road, their the perfect coil over. They handle highway chop like no other, and that speaks a lot about the quality of them. The excitement I had when I took the Silverado out in Colorado’s high country was a true challenge on how they performed, stout is all I gotta say. Half ton pick ups are heavy, so I knew it was going to take a lot to keep the truck stable, and it did…best of luck!!🤙🏼
Just because the shock is longer doesn't mean it has more travel. What is the extended length and the compressed length of the eibachs? Ive found Fox's specs but can't find eibachs
Do you know if eibach is planning on making a front with reservoirs? I have the 2.0 front and rear and love them, but if they come out with a front with reservoirs than I plan on buying the rears with reservoirs too
Could I do a 1.5” lift in the front and 1.00” in the rear with either of these kits in a 2020 Silverado 1500 high country diesel? New to all this so trying to figure things out. I want to keep some rake and right now have about 1” of rake.
Yes. Just installed them on my 21 ORP with KDSS. I used the kings install manual and didn’t even have to worry with KDSS on front. It was an easy install. Just follow the Kings instructions works very well for the Eibach. In the rear I did have to loosen the KDSS bar but it went right back in place. Highly recommended. Also no lean and didnt use the spacers recommended in the 4 runner forums. Ignore all the install advice on the forums and just go with the Kings method. Runner was out exactly 1/8 inch higher on passenger side lean. If I had used spacers it would have been a mistake.
If you have KDSS, the set up is straight forward and you don't need to account for the lean as the KDSS should correct it. If it does not, you need to recalibrate the KDSS system.
Yup ! Eibach has a great exchange program where you send in your old tire shocks and they send out shocks that have already been refurbished and rebuilt.
Fox only really recommends setting their 2.0s for a maximum of 2" of lift on Toyotas. I am sure there is enough adjustment to get to 2.5", but it will likely start to ride harsher the more you exceed their recommended heights.
Fox aren't adjustable UNLESS you take all the pressure off the springs even though their manual claims the use of a spanner wrench is possible. This became a major issue for me since their site and manual claims the coilovers come setup to level a specific vehicle but are in fact "always set to max lift" according to their customer service. I literally had to uninstall the coilovers from the vehicile and purchase a spring compressor as the ones available for rent at places like Autozone, Advance, O'Reilly are too thick to fit between the springs on the Fox. Needless to say, I won't be buying @foxfactory again.
Depends on if you're talking about Fox's aluminum body shocks, which should be taken off the vehicle to make adjustment. Their factory series with steel body - people adjust while still on the vehicle.
@@ShockSurplus which of their Performance 2.0 Series are steel body? My original point is that Fox doesn't care enough to fix their false advertising claims on their site or their manual regarding a LARGE list of their products.
On my third set of fox 2.0 on three different vehicles. . Have proper tools to make the adjustment would help. They have to be removed from vehicle. Derp.. The fact they are serviceable is worth its weight in gold. They have an amazing customer service hotline and warranty shipping is fast if you have an issue. I will buy nothing but fox. Have for years on my sled and SXS along with my trucks.

Been looking at the Eibachs for my Bronco, figure they should be good for what I want to do since I’m mainly in Florida.

How have the Eibachs held up? Anyone able to give a long term review? When do they need a rebuild?
Can't go wrong with Eibach ☝🏼
we've been impressed for sure
Just because the shock is longer doesn't mean it has more travel. What is the extended length and the compressed length of the eibachs?
Ive found Fox's specs but can't find eibachs
which application specifically are you looking for? Or part number cross reference?
I did Eibachs stage one kit and the front is killer, the back shocks are pretty stiff, bummed they won’t make a reservoir for a 12th gen f150
Give Eibach some time, they have only recently announce the reservoir rear shocks on some applications.
The back are really stiff gets jarring on your back 😒
Thinking of pulling them off for a plusher but controlled shock when i find one
Does installing them upside down help to soften the ride?
Stiffness is from your spring rate and not from damping. Oil reservoirs won’t improve stiffness.
Can you do 6112 vs eibach?
Already in the works

We don't believe they will. It would really make sense to do a reservoir on a 2.0 series coilover. Maybe if they created a 2.5 series possibly.
Took the eibach coilovers off my 2019 f150 and replaced them with the fox 2.0 coilovers and couldn’t be more happier.
@Bucs0n3 what didn't you like about the eibachs?
@@cgcurley438 went bad in less than a year just normal driving
@Bucs0n3 damn was it the stage 1 kit or the pro truck stage 2's?
Was it the stage 1 or 2s! The people need to know!

Yup! You most certainly can
@@ShockSurplus can I put 1/2 " spacers on eibach shock to lifted 2 1/2"
Are either one good on 2012 F-150 Lariat 9 cyl 4x4?
Both are great options but really depend on what you're using the truck for.
Eibach is your best bet.
Does Eibach provide the ability to use their Eibach Coilover KIT with KDSS 4runner?

So question Are the Eibach pro stage 2, lift kit Are they servicable or not?
Yup ! Eibach has a great exchange program where you send in your old tire shocks and they send out shocks that have already been refurbished and rebuilt.
If u take fox 2.0's off truck can u bring it up to 2.5" with spring compression?
Got your 2.0's on both 4runner and tundra. There awesome!

@@ShockSurplus thx u for quick response. How about a 1/2" spacer on top? I see u have fox 2.0 with spacer for f150.
A1/2" lift spacer should be just fine but I would definitely double check for CV bind at full droop and full steering lock just to be safe.
