When I first saw this movie, I was home alone and at the very end when the phone booth rings before the credits, my phone rang. I was so scared and didn't answer it (the closest phone to me didn't have caller id and this was before those phones that said the number out loud). When the machine picked it up, it was my mom lol
"You can't understand the pain of betrayal until you've been betrayed." Fun Fact: Steven Spielberg was attached to direct at one point. Count It Out Fact: The word "fuck" and its variations is said 143 times. Hot Take Fact: The scene when Stu confesses everything was shot in the first take. Colin Farrell got applause from those present right after the scene was shot. Casting Notes Fact: This was the fourth collaboration between actor Kiefer Sutherland and film director Joel Schumacher. They worked together before in The Lost Boys (1987), Flatliners (1990), and A Time To Kill (1996). What Script Fact: When Stu is being told to "hang up the fucking phone" by the prostitute played by Paula Jai Parker, she calls him the 'N' word. This was ad-libbed, so the look that Colin Farrell gives her after she says it is genuine. Gun Enthusiast Fact: The rifle on the tripod in the sniper's window is an Accuracy International Rifle. Accuracy International is a British firm that manufactures dedicated sniper weapons as opposed to offering modified hunting rifles like many other companies. The price of the setup in the movie ranges from $6000-$9000 depending on what kind of scope was mounted.
After studio can't get Spielberg, they try to hire Michael Bay but bay asking when they moving out from phone booth which is why he didn't get to direct this movie. Hiring Joel Schumacher is the best decision ever
I agree, this movie is underrated. For me, the stylistic editing choices were a little hard to swallow sometimes, but the premise was intriguing, it was written well, and the acting SOLD it. The monologue with Colin Farrell where he confesses everything? Best performance I've ever seen from him.
Haven't seen that movie in a long time 😂😅 I think they did their Thang in it!!! Some inherent random movies u should check out are Gran Torino, Flypaper, and Payback
so true, very underrated movie 🙂 Here is some more underrated movies below too, you should check them out. "Finder's Fee" from 2001 starring Ryan Reynolds, Matthew Lillard & James Earl Jones. "Meet Joe Black" from 1998 starring Brad Pitt & Anthony Hopkins. "Titan AE" Animated Film from 2000 starring Matt Damon, John Leguizamo & Drew Barrymore. (I had no idea it was those 3 in that movie until now when I checked the release date...WOW now I HAVE to rewatch it hahaha)
lol damn, I've never heard someone mistake "Kiefer Sutherland" for "Kevin Spacey" before haha. but now hearing it I see how you could have made that mistake 🤣... btw "Kiefer Sutherland" is also really good in "Designated Survivor"
I LOVE this movie, moral vengeance flicks are the best. On dog butts, i never had a dog until my bf got an English Bulldog rescue 3 years ago and we indeed need to wipe his ass lol.
You should watch Team StarKid's Harry Potter musical trilogy that parodies these films. It is an interesting take on the stories. They also parody Star Wars, Batman, Disney, and more. Think about it. I think it would be fun to go down the StarKid rabbit hole
24:16 There is a time limit only if you call FROM the phonebooth but not if somebody calls the phone inside it.

He also did a good job with penguin TV shows he did recently
Incoming calls can go on forever. There isn’t a time limit on incoming call on a phone booth
24:10 Not when the phone get called because the person who calls pay
He made a order for pizza 🍕 at the phone booth and the Hotel room. The pizza guy more than likely was first to go. The Fall guy.
It's crazy how much I miss the 20th century fox Intro

I think that only works if they're calling out
I'm sure if someone phones the phone booth it's fine lol
Amadeus Diablo was shoot by NYPD 41x’s after pulling his wallet out of his pocket. SMH.✊🏾
