Thanks, for pointing out the typo! One of my favorites is Sachertorte. Did you notice that some of the Russian shops in the US carry a lot of German and Austrian products? I bought Manner Schnitten the other day. They are sooooo good!

However, I recently discovered to my surprise that a local grocery chain (Meijer.com) sells Manner Schnitten and for a reasonable price.

Coffee time is such a great tradition in Germany. Frankfurter Kranz is one of my favorite cakes, you are so right about the chilling time!

Germany has for sure a huge variety of all sorts of cake, and I just love them all. But I am kind of biased :)
