Moz and Johnny deserve all the credit they get, but jesus, man, Mike and Andy were so integral to this sound as well.
The Beatles of the 80s. Everyone always played the _right_ thing.

This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone in the world to pretend you're Morrissey and add some vocals to Johnny's song!

Mas têm. Só que ficou melhor sem ele. Depois de um tempo, passei a acreditar que quem era realmente o gênio do The Smiths, sempre foi Johnny.

If only they’d get together and add some lyrics to this song for Andy, the title fits the situation well.

So weird that Morrissey didnt write any words for this Song. Sure would have been a no brainer. I can almost hear him singing something in this Song right now.

Todas as músicas instrumentais dos Smiths são pedras preciosas!
In March 1987 (when the band were at the Wool Hall studio in Bath) no one could possibly know what was already going on, and it was not something cool.

Lyrics do exist to this song. Marillion nicked it for Kayleigh and released it the following year. Try for yourself, from the start. Do you remember? Chalk hearts melting on a playground wall? Do you remember? Dawn escapes from moon washed college halls.
