I think SEPHIROTH is done messing around. Also, if we are not careful we might suffer the wraith of Safer-Sephiroth his final form and we will not get out alive because we will be burnt to a crisp by his SUPERNOVA. I am working my way towards beating him, but I am far from ready and this music only makes him even more terrifying than ever!
1:15 Considering that “Estuans interius ira vehementi” is “Burning inside with violent anger” or something to that effect, and just how much it gets repeated here without shouting “Sephiroth!”, Sephiroth is absolutely beyond pissed off.
The close up shot of his face after beating him here has him looking genuinely angry/pissed off. It’s the first time we’ve ever seen him genuinely mad, which is actually kinda scary. What would an unhinged Sephiroth, knowing full well what his fate entails if he falls to Cloud, be capable of in Part 3?
1:48-2:40 is my absolute favorite part of this whole track. You're anticipating the electric guitar rift from Advent Children, but it doesn't rip. Instead, the guitar only holds a note, and it fades, before the track suddenly gives a desperation feel with all the woodwind instruments running up and down melodically. Almost as if to symbolize Sephiroth's sudden desperation in wanting to get rid of Aerith, but she absolutely refuses to just fade away, even after being killed by Sephiroth. This version of Sephiroth knows full well what his fate entails if Cloud succeeds against him in the eventual final battle at the end of Part 3. How much more unhinged can Sephiroth in his actual One Winged Angel form and Safer Sephiroth get? The ending fight sequence in part 3 is going to be even more crazier and even more off the rails (in a good way). This version of one winged angel is awesome The immediate higher tempo, and fast pace of the music shows, to me, that Sephiroth isn’t playing around this time (unlike last time), he’s focused, driven, and with just a hint of desperation. Maybe he thought he could enact his plans more easier and faster if he got rid of Cloud and to a larger degree; Aerith. But he underestimated them and was actually defeated this time. Yes he laughed, knowing that it isn’t over yet, but that’s all he did, no parting words or taunts, he knew at that moment he was beaten.
It's because Aerith is fucking useless near the end of the game, especially if you're playing her. Love her playstyle but the way aggro works just doesn't suit her playstyle

Me. This entire game he kept getting blindsided, surprised, and failing at things, and I loved it. I also loved how unlike the last game, whenever you pressure him every hit you land tosses him around like a rag doll. He was not on his A-game in Rebirth at all and I loved it.
This is the kind of music to listen to as you slowly drive insane from the story (in a good way and bad way storywise, music is consistently amazing don’t worry)
Got one of my game overs on this fight. Managed to beat everything so far pretty ok even if it took some time and Gilgamesh was hard af too but Sephiroth annihilated here. Felt like he really wanted to murder you lol. This was one heck of a fight. Can't wait to play this on hard.
I'm glad that you could start over from each fight, rather than having to defeat all of them in a row. This fight filtered me a few times because you have to lean on synergies pretty hard and I was playing conservatively.
Yeah it was rough, I unequipped aerith out of instinct and when she came back I was happy for a sec and then the fight started..she was literally useless😂
Ngl my tactic was avoiding synergies at lot because Spell Blade is such a big commitment. I found using tier 2 magic spells to quickly take out his weakpoints (as they appear) allowed me to consistently pressure him, and I could use the staggers to built LB charge. The only hiccup is at the end when he decides to turn into a top spinner because it does so much damage. Made it all the way to that phase my first attempt just to get mopped up by it. Was very sad about that.
I love this version of the song. Sounds so cool. I'm glad I liked it too, since I had to listen to it like 6 times before beating this fight lol. And I kept dying during the very last stretch.
Regardless of the version or arrangement, this ONE song has been the theme song for my gaming nightmares growing up! This was like the Jaws theme for me!😂
I love how they did the end is nigh ability from sephiroth. As the Music Goes he ttaps u in a area that gets smaller and smaller forcing u to get closer and closer as he prapares octaslash prime with the Music and the end is nigh its the game telling u speed up and go all out fast or u are Dead. Which I really like. Not only that if u play defensive /safe this might catch u of Guard and end it. Pretty fast. Absolute Masterpiece and what a thrill it was on hardmode
tragic that i was unable to find One Winged Angel (rebirth) but i'll never have to wonder again how to make a cake that will make any social gathering a success
I like to imagine that Sephiroth manipulates the spirits of the planet to sing this during the fight. Imagine you’re fighting a wanna be god and you hear the voices of the planet change from screams to sudden glorification of the one who will bring death.
I believe Uematu is planning something special for the 3rd episode. He agreed to compose it. I can't wait to have both the CD soundtrack and play the third installment
You let Aerith die without setting up her wards? That's like the one thing she's good for in this fight, invulnerability during casting any spell and double cast on attack spells, what's not to love
5:15 Noticed just now, but FF Type-0 reference right there. Although it could just be coincidence, but this game has referenced other Final Fantasys so I don't think it is.
While Aerith is down, Cloud uses Ascension to staggered Sephiroth. Then I use Braver to end the fight but perfectly concluded the same time with last SEPHIROTH note of the song.
I hope One Winged Angel in Part 3 is just the entire composition of traditional OWA with a medley slapped on it. I wanna hear Bombing Mission, Birth of a God, JENOVA, JENOVA ABSOLUTE, I want every song snuck into Safer Sephiroth fight and to *still* sound godlike. I'd rather they go all out and make it the objectively best version of One Winged Angel rather than just another orchestrated remix of One Winged Angel They went that route with Sephiroth's previous phase themes in this entire boss fight, they made Those Chosen by the Planet AND One Winged Angel sound HEROIC, and I LOVE Square for that music choice.

In fact. This time Sephiroth is not joking. Because this is the real Sephiroth in the lifestream
@@PeppeDAngelo-kq2ng Yeah, hence why he decided to fly away, he is not taking his chances
@@adrianschaeuffler7513 exactly
And this is just the 2nd part!
God knows how it'll sound in the 3rd part where he'll finally be Safer Sephiroth.
Dis pear recipe was delicious! Will be making it again! Thank you!
0:01 when you heard this : 💀🥶
His battle themes from remake and rebirth each feel like half of the original. They shall reunite at the promised land, as has been forseen.
cringe.
@@VictorVonDoomDoom yes.
Its gonna be a remix of the Advent Children version.
If this game doesn’t win best soundtrack at the game awards WE RIOT
Edit: It won best soundtrack but was snubbed for best rpg…
It's either this or Yakuza 8 for best ost
Should win GOTY and best direction.
broh, that end fight was epic, with cloud desperately slashing sephiroth as he aproach aerith, and ending by closing the distance and placing himself between aerith while doing special attack to finish the fight ? chef kiss.
should be used as credits video.
This version of one winged angel is awesome
The immediate higher tempo, and fast pace of the music shows, to me, that Sephiroth isn’t playing around this time (unlike last time), he’s focused, driven, and with just a hint of desperation.
Keep them remixes coming in
We will fund them
bro left aerith dead just like the game
LMAO NOT EVEN BOTHERING TO USE THE PHOENIX DOWN 😂😂😭😭
She went down in my boss fight too when he started using Tempus Finis, I was just desperately trying to finish him off at that point lol
Killing Aerith is now a meme. Aerith is kenny confirm.
It's because Aerith is fucking useless near the end of the game, especially if you're playing her. Love her playstyle but the way aggro works just doesn't suit her playstyle
@@NihilTruthnah her with a magic damage build just destroys Sephiroth sword and wing in this fight. Also if you can manage to get both her ATB bars filled up pray is outstanding late game. I definitely agree that she is hard to use late game though.
Also her planets blessing limit is sosososo good this fight imo.
The crisis core version was always my favorite, still is, but I appreciate that they tried something different.
Sephiroth worked his ass off so Holy wouldn't be a factor in his plans only for Aerith to pull a multiverse tomfoolery and took another one to the current timeline. LMAO of course he would be PISSED.
I will never be a memory.
Babe wake up. New One Winged Angel just dropped.
Since the REMAKE’s OWA was called *One - Winged Angel - Rebirth* I think it’s only fitting this rendition should be called *One - Winged Angel - Reunion*
Funny you should say that, i am like 100% confident that the 3rd game is probably gonna be called FF7 Reunion with just how much the brought it up in Rebirth.
@@totallyreal7416 you're 100% wrong cause the prequel was called reunion they won't make two reunion titles, it's like if ff7 rebirth was called ff7 remake no part 2 or anything
@@Orwhiwell the game also had the subtitle crisis core to distinguish it so i don’t know if it would be too much of a problem
I am pretty much sure the 3rd part will be called Reunion as well, even if Crisis Core already has the title it just makes way to much sense not to name it that, the Reunion of Jenova, the Reunion of the timelines there are lots of Reunions happening.
Watch this version be called One Winged Angel Adventus just to fuck with us. XD
Did anyone feel as excited as i did when they actually wiped that smirk of sephiroths face? Bro was pissed beyond belief
The plot is kinda bonkers, but I love it tbh
Accidentally started the whole fight when I died to his final attack 💀
@@chriscofer6780me too lol
It would have been 10 times better if we could cut that freaking cutscene -.-'
Ngl my tactic was avoiding synergies at lot because Spell Blade is such a big commitment. I found using tier 2 magic spells to quickly take out his weakpoints (as they appear) allowed me to consistently pressure him, and I could use the staggers to built LB charge.
The only hiccup is at the end when he decides to turn into a top spinner because it does so much damage. Made it all the way to that phase my first attempt just to get mopped up by it. Was very sad about that.
Just wanted to comment that the ending of this song is why I’m here. That “SE-PHI-ROTH” punctuated by the music is just chefs kiss
The "it all ends here and now" theme, holy sh*t.
My man just let Aerith lie dead the whole fight (again).
took me 6 or 7 tries to figure out the right timing but this was such a great boss fight. I love how rough it was
Theme slowly matching the AC one winged angel
I love this version of the song. Sounds so cool. I'm glad I liked it too, since I had to listen to it like 6 times before beating this fight lol. And I kept dying during the very last stretch.
Regardless of the version or arrangement, this ONE song has been the theme song for my gaming nightmares growing up! This was like the Jaws theme for me!😂
I like how its more like the kingdom hearts one
Title is "One-Winged Angel: Reborn"
I like to imagine that Sephiroth manipulates the spirits of the planet to sing this during the fight. Imagine you’re fighting a wanna be god and you hear the voices of the planet change from screams to sudden glorification of the one who will bring death.
I believe Uematu is planning something special for the 3rd episode. He agreed to compose it. I can't wait to have both the CD soundtrack and play the third installment
Uematsu only did the theme songs (Hollow & No Promises to Keep)
4:32 The Sound in your Head when you spot Someone you hate on the Street
You let Aerith die without setting up her wards? That's like the one thing she's good for in this fight, invulnerability during casting any spell and double cast on attack spells, what's not to love
Praise be this wonderful cookie recipe brought to you by DONBEI!
I think this is the only game i know where the final boss are the superboss himself.
Gilgamesh: Am I a joke to you?
its still out of order but it will be COMPLETE WHEN WE GET TO THE FINAL GAME
Love how this version is incomplete, as it leaves out the 'Sors immanis
Et inanis" implying the rebirth wasnt 100%
5:15 Noticed just now, but FF Type-0 reference right there.
Although it could just be coincidence, but this game has referenced other Final Fantasys so I don't think it is.
Wow this tutorial on how to do Electric Wind God Fist was nice, wish I could find one winged angel rebirth
Just when I thought One Winged Angel couldn't get any harder...
Here we are once more
1:41
this time no normal battle theme part but instead sephiroth's theme moves even further on a darker note
I like this song cause it is so close to the Kingdom Hearts version in mood.
0:43
And so the knave returns.....
At this point this theme has been altered so many times we’re now a meme sephiroth let us drown in this egg and cheese 💀
El tema de Sephirot es el mejor de cualquier personaue en la historia ❤
sabes por que le llman este no es sephiroth
This fight was hard and it was not even with the real Sephiroth. Just imagine when he wakes up in part 3...
While Aerith is down, Cloud uses Ascension to staggered Sephiroth. Then I use Braver to end the fight but perfectly concluded the same time with last SEPHIROTH note of the song.
Me too! Just the same. It felt good xD but my Aerith was still fighting.
Dang this is probably my Favorite OWA next to advent children.
Dang, guess I will have to keep searching ...
Honest to god I’m glad they saved the full momentum of one winged angel for the last phase because boy was there a ton of phases 😂
When is the soundtrack coming to streaming platforms because I need this expeditiously asap
I want to hear sephiroth reborn theme
Estuans interius ira vehementi, Sephiroth!
(Burning inside with devastating wrath, Sephiroth!)
Gloria generosa!
(Merciful Holy!)
I'd rather they go all out and make it the objectively best version of One Winged Angel rather than just another orchestrated remix of One Winged Angel
They went that route with Sephiroth's previous phase themes in this entire boss fight, they made Those Chosen by the Planet AND One Winged Angel sound HEROIC, and I LOVE Square for that music choice.
When sephiroths final phase kills you the camera zooms in to him grilling and smiling before the game over prompt fades in. epic
I'm thinking about the fact that people who want to go for platinum will have to do the ENTIRE boss fight in hard mode and I'm scared
Remake: wait WHAT!? its too soon! Everyone's not ready yet!
Rebirth: Damn it, here he comes!!!
I cant WAIT for the part3's7 one winged angel!
crying you just gave up on aerith
Lore accurate
@@Xsuriancloud accidently drowned Aerith lmao
A part of me still is hyped that Safer Sephiroth will return while the other is worried that they would probably not cook hard with the ost.
I cant wait to see what safer sephiroth (or seraphim sephiroth idk wtf that form is called) will look like and i especially cant wait for the music
Hell yeah we kicked Sephiroth's ass with the power of love.
When Sephiroth is heavily underestimated
That was some Zelda pull.
