This is what's good about UA-cam. A family working through challenges, helping each other. No cussing, just working hard..Robert you and your wife have to be very proud of your family. We are on the tail end of covid. I thought I was going to lose my beautiful wife. She is home and doing much better....thank you god...

I picked up covid in Oct. I had 1 12 hour period where I was just miserable. Aches, sweats, etc. But I had 2 weeks of a cough, tiredness, had some shortness of breath, lost my senses of taste and smell. Best diet I've ever had. It wasn't that I couldn't eat. Nothing tasted good. Lost 30 lbs. I had a mild case likely because I was vaccinated. And am I glad I was after reading and hearing about how bad it could be. Happy to see the Magnum home, the BigBud in one piece again, and Bob full of fish stories! God Bless Welkers!

As I sit here, my niece has caught Covid. Tested positive this past Thursday, today being Jan 3rd. I have lost my Uncle, a life long friend and another friend whom I know thru my wife. My niece, being nurse has had all three shots. She is doing fine. We all have had our 3 shots including our children. I am VERY happy Scott and the family have come out of this on a good side. Even seeing MN Farmer, Zak, pull though is great news. Not sure why there are people out there whom still think this is a joke. I just cannot get my head wrapped around this kind of logic(?), thinking(?) It's a health crisis, not something that should have been politicized from the start. God Bless you guys and stay safe!
As for Bob's joke, You were "throwing a line" out for that one. You "scaled" swiftly thru the current for a fish joke. I got a "Whale" of a chuckle out it. Almost fell back on my "bass" laughing. LOL!!!😂😂🤣🤣😅😅

That’s some scary stuff for a family to go through, thank God he’s ok. It’s pretty obvious Scott is struggling physically and cognitively but he’s trying hard. He’s a tough dude and with the support of your family, this too shall pass.

Sorry about your bout with the virus. This time last year I was in the hospital, ICU, for 6 days... this stuff is bad. I’m sure you’re in better shape than me since I’m 77 , but it’s still a long slow recovery. Don’t push it! After 12 months, I’m still weak as a popcorn fart..
Expect some crazy after effects for a long time. Good luck with your recovery.
Best wishes for a happy, safe, and prosperous new year... I enjoy your channel, thanks for sharing. Woody in Georgia

Monday I will test for C19,, 3 in my family has C19 now,, I've been vaccinated and boosted so I will see how well this vaccine works,, I've had some mild symptoms is why I'm getting tested + being 70 don't help..... MFarmer and now Welker's,, This Covid thing ain't no joke,, stay safe out there ..

You aren’t on ventilator and it could all be thanks to the vaccine. That said, if you aren’t social distancing and wearing a mask when possible, the vaccine won’t prevent you from getting sick…even if mild. The free vaccine has probably saved you and your family a significant amount of money 😉. Hoping for good news for you and a healthy 2022.

It's no fun being sick. Those of us that are sick for 4 days or less then go exercise the symptoms away while we are waiting for 2 weeks to end may have a hard time relating to those that are not so fortunate. I've heard some people can't breath and that must be scary as hell.
