This is why I am so thankful for God giving me the privilege to be a stay at home mom in the beginning it was difficult and felt tormenting at times because I was so used to always doing and being busy, but with each pregnancy as we I have slowed down, it has cultivated simplicity and contentment in my life like never before.
I thank God for all my sisters in Christ who are homemakers and are putting out content to teach young women like myself how to love their husbands, children and be caretakers of their home God's way❤️
I've noticed when I rest and do less, I become more clear and creative, I tend to accomplish more in the long run in the things that really matter 🙌
I love this. God started to slow me down to living a more quiet and content life as well. It's not easy... when you're so used to 'doing' something you feel like you're wasting time a first. I'm still getting used to it but I've been falling back in love with reading, creating and I'm learning new homemaking skills like ways to change a home from chaotic to calm and organized, gardening and baking. Sometimes though, when things get a little too quiet I start looking for something to do. I was just praying and asking God what I can do right now to not waste time then this video popped up as a reminder to just BE.
so true this is my year of ease iam 66 years young and have been busy all my life and iam now retired and intend to enjoy it Enjoy your life my sister i remember watching you a few uears ago you have come a long way enjoy the life God has given you there is no competition blessings to you and family experience is the best teacher

There have been so many times where I have felt like I am not doing enough by comparing myself to others around me who own their own business and me just working a regular job. I didn’t feel good enough. Sometimes still don’t know where to start but I crave that freedom too.
