I got married before I got saved. Through a series of painful situations in that marriage, I surrendered my life to the Lord Jesus. Things got worse, it was traumatic, yet I thought if I prayed for his salvation and waited it would get better. He started going to church, acted like he was different all the while he was still doing the same things. Early one morning the Lord spoke to me and I heard “this is not my best for you.” That day we had a talk, things were revealed and I asked him to leave. That night I had the most amazing rest and peace. We divorced and I’ve been single for 6 years. I’m patiently waiting and enjoying my single season.

There’s always two sides to every story. I wouldn’t object to any facts stated in you all stories of your men being the culprit, but one thing for sure is , both parties to any relationship at all must play their unique roles to make it work.
Regardless of whether a man is meant for you or not, our characters can spoil a lot of things if not well managed even in marriages that are ordained by God.
A classic example and way to apply this reasoning is : A man of God like David the King, who was loved by God even from childhood, when he failed to manage his character (lust ), he was punished.
So, the fact that God ordained or showed that a man is meant for us doesn’t automatically takes away the fact that every transaction of the marriage would happen without hiccups here and there.
Learning to communicate and appreciate the interests of others and to understand we are from different unique backgrounds, would actually in my opinion go a long way in building marriages or any relationships at that.

Your instincts will never lie ! The moment you get a bad feeling about someone believe it ! You don’t have to know the reason why at the time, but just believe…trust me guys …your inner spirit never lies.
This is the hard part though, to know if it’s instinct vs trauma response. When someone hasn’t completed self discovery instincts and paranoia can feel similar. Some may even trust the paranoia more than the intuition due to lack of societal awareness of the difference.
The problem is that many cannot discern between instinct and feelings. Feelings change every day and basing a relationship merely on feelings often makes one devoid of commitment and the kind of love that transcends far above your feelings at the moment.
This is why 70%-80% of all divorces are initiated by the ‘weaker vessel’ today. Society tells us that how we feel is more important than the relationship or life that committed to you in the first place.
Pray and test the spirits. Ask God if that truly is Him talking to your spirit or if that is the enemy separating you from love and life. Remember no man or no woman is perfect. One of the keys to true love is how those two imperfect people work together and recognize those imperfections.

The Biggest problem with Believers in Christ! They don't know the voice of God. Because our Prayer life and time alone with God. Is not top priority! ✨✨🔥🙏💯 The Holy Spirit/ Essence of God will always tell you! What to do what's right! Listen to the Comforter/ Holy Spirit of God.
I can also say that one reason we can obsess over a person & become distracted from God is our mental health background & our level of wholeness. Whenever a person becomes an idol or an obsession, it’s called infatuation. Infatuation isn’t love, but it always feels really good. A whole person doesn’t allow themselves to be obsessive over a person anymore. Their relationship w/ God is a part of their individuality as a person. Your individuality should normally remain whether you’re involved with someone or not. But when it doesn’t remain, it means you’re looking to people to fill a void. So an unwhole person can’t handle a new love interest, but a whole person can. A whole person is more level-headed & has a certain balance or a routine in their life that doesn’t allow for them to be distracted when they have a new love interest. We should all be working towards that point. 🎉

I had to pay attention to men who say they were Christian and good on paper but did not live the lifestyle or were afraid of offending others.
This is part of my testimony. I was dating this girl who I thought was going to be the wife I wanted but turns out it was just a disappointment and & distraction that almost took my soul. My ex-girlfriend has to many soul ties & I just wanted someone to love so I didn't care. I lower myself and turn out I was the one who was being abused and manipulated by lust & fornication. Lord Jesus saw everything & he protected me from wickedness of this world and my then girlfriend. I am so blessed that he saved my life and got me out that relationship because we would've been struggling untimely parents if the lord didn't put a stop to that sinful life I was living. Psalm 34 18 is one of my favorite scripture. I been walking with the lord for almost a year now 🙏 glory to his name hallelujah

This brought so much clarity to what I’ve been wrestling with! Counterfeits look and feel like the real thing, you need to discern it through the lens of the Holy Spirit to test it.
When I look back on majority of my past relationships, they all had red flags that I completely ignored, and they all showed up within the first week of meeting. When I tell you God truly wastes no time. We have to be alert and allow God to lead us every single time.
This is a Blessing. It’s hard to leave that person that you always thought was the one but if God says otherwise, I can’t argue.

There was also signs and God speaking to me that he was NOT my husband. No lie I would hear God speak to me through videos about the same thing over and over. I will never forget I was in my room and my door was opened and my dad was listening to this preaching and I can hear it and the preacher clearly say “ there’s someone who been praying saying if this person is the one, and I’m here to tell you that God has better for you” I was like lWHAT THE?!!” Then second time this UA-cam video that wasn’t even about kingdom marriages and this Prophetic word from this UA-camr was “I hear God saying that you thought that person was the one but God is saying No and that he has better for you “😭 God speaks. Do NOT settle pls! ❤
This video gave me so much clarity…was dating my ex for 2 years believing him to be my Kingdom Spouse. I watched so many prophetic words telling me this was my husband and that our relationship was just being attack by spiritual warfare….it’s like we was stuck in the same karmic cycles until I decided this isn’t working so I decided to separate. The week I did that…I received the most shocking news that he passed away…I was beyond crushed and didn’t know what was going on…I was so confused with the Lord. I know I deserved better and still have hope I will meet the right one for me. I’m just in my healing stage right now because I really did love the guy. I just ask the Lord to heal my broken heart so that I’m able to love again. It’s been really tough.

Amen, I saw this video last night and I saved it to watch later, all morning I kept hearing the Holy Spirit say Go watch the video. I needed to see this! This is my conformation that the young man that showed interest in me a couple of months ago is not a Godsend but a distraction. I admire some qualities about him but God is missing in his life, So while he may have those qualities that I love ( kindness, patience, gentleness etc) I know he is not the one. I wrestled for months because I was afraid there will be nothing or no one would be interested after him, but that is simply a lie that the enemy is trying to get me to believe. I know that my husband will come into my life in God’s time, so until then I will wait. Thank you Jesus!
This really makes sense im married to a man that I thought God gave to me but after years and years I invested myself in this relationship he's now showing me who he really is,he doesn't care about my pain,doesn't value me, doesn't have that energy he use to have towards me,he listene to other people's advices than mine,he respect other people's inputs to mine,he can even make sure he tells me anything he wants whether I wants it or not..please pray with me I don't know what to do..

For a lot of us waiting on god for so long leads us to acting out of loneliness. As for me I don’t know what a God centered relationship looks like. I had to leave my x because God called me. But it sucks being lonely but the lord knows what is good and I just don’t
Its how God is. Its a toss of a coin. If it lands in your favor you'll get blessed by God with love, marriage, children. However if it lands on the reverse as it did with me and many many others, you get nothing but bitter loneliness and piss poor affirmations from people who were blessed with it. Its easy for them to act all positive about it and tell you to just "have faith" or "be strong cause God has a plan" and "God's timing" blah blah blah. I guarantee those same people wouldn't have that same mindset if the toss of the coin landed on an unfavorable side.

You always go to God in prayer before you make critical life altering moves. I bump my head when I don’t pray and receive confirmation.
Yes as I looked back I noticed the red flags 🚩. And I noticed the pattern as well. I had to let go of individuals that weren't on my level. And I just recently walked away from a relationship because we were going in different directions. At the beginning we seem to understand each other and we could read each other without saying anything about things changed and I didn't know what was going on. We had a lot of similarities as well.
But God showed me/ gave me insight on what was happening and I had to make my decision. And I did what was best for me.
I'm more cautious,wiser and stronger 💪 for the experience. And I know that I won't be making that mistake again with the help of God.
I'm so much better and I have my peace 🕊️.

I met a Godly woman not too long ago and thought it was going well but her ex from 3 years ago messaged her which brought some stuff up in her so we paused. I was hurt i thought i was content but boy was i wrong. He used it to show me some errors, pulled me even closer to him thank Jesus. When i was pretty low he put his spirit on me in a new level. I thought it was rejection but he told me She is going to be my Wife but not before there is some work done first. I wasnt prepared to fully Lead a family by walking in the spirit continually and i am sure he still has some amazing healing to finish in her. Praise God he cares enough to teach us some hard lessons. Iv focused on him since and putting my faith completely in Him. I could use prayer not to waiver on this and trust in him with the work hes doing in me. God Bless
Wow! I'm going through the exact same thing right now. True, the Lord is using this experience to work in us and teach us. He's even brought up some issues in me I didn't know I had to work on.
Now, I thank Him this is happening, because I see how disastrous a marriage my partner and I would have had if we had moved forward without first working on these hidden issues.

This one was so timely that it just hit different. I’m going to pray on it, but I think you’ve brought me some clarity that I’ve been looking for. What you said about counterfeits who have similar characteristics to your God-sent spouse (who may be good people but are not your person) and relationships that become idols because you’ve been trying so hard to figure out if it’s the right person… those things resonated so much with me. I think I’ve been trying to ignore that someone and I have been unequally yoked. Thank you for this wise, humbling message. Your personal examples made it easier to understand. I love this wisdom that was recommended to me. But I'm literally one of those ones that aspires to be the bridesmaid. And yup, I'm the single girlfriend in my circles, in my family & extended family. I love love for other people and hope everyone finds that special person if they want it (including sending good vibes to my soul family in the comment section). But it's not for me. After some life experiences, I find that I'm a better friend, cousin, auntie and supporter. When I see a friend or cousin gets engaged or walking down that aisle, I'm jumping up and down like it's me! If I ever change my mind I know what videos to re-watch. I won't comment all the time, but I love watching and learning from perspectives outside my own.
