Started with a A1C of 11. My A1C is now 5.3. Down 76 pounds , started on ozempic then mounjaro and back on ozempic now due to the shortage of mounjaro. Primary care doctor and endocrinologist were very happy about my numbers at last visit this month. Liver numbers have also went way down. Hepatologist was extremely pleased

Well, it is good news. Hopefully, American citizens will get the jobs.
They will because illegals can’t work and big construction companies don’t pay people off the books.
Keeping jobs in America, meanwhile charging them about $100 to one dollar compared to the other countries around the world for the cost of medication. 😂 that’s funny right there.

Eli Lilly would not have this money to invest in capacity expansion if they were only charging $5 for their medication.
Extremely valid point, one that is most often missed entirely.
True but we wouldn’t have many of these drugs if the private drug companies didn’t spend billions developing, researching and producing them.
Oh I guarantee that it is either a government funded program funding them or else it is government incentaivized via kickbacks... Otherwise the "regulatory costs" of continued operations for a medical grade manufacturing facility wouldn't be financialy sustainable.
They don't need to charge hundreds either to afford it.
