If you love this Anthony, don’t drive a GR Yaris. I was in the process of buying a 2020 FiST when I had a testdrive of the GR. Now, instead of immediate delivery of a FiST (at a healthy discount), I’m on a waiting list for the GR and may even have to pay a dealer premium over retail...but I have to have that car in my life!

How much is the GR retail in Ireland?
Yeah, it sounds like the GR Yaris is a serious machine. Hopefully we get to test one this year. The Yaris starts at €50k (€57k if you want the circuit pack) in Ireland and the ST is €32k with the performance pack...
@@carsirelanddotie wow, perhaps you will need to explain the car tax system in Ireland to us Johny foreigners... converted to €, I was offered the FiST (5 door ST3 equivalent spec) for approx €22500, and I’m expecting to pay approx €33000-€35000 for the GR (which comes as std here with the EU ‘circuit’ & ‘luxury’ packs).
@@carsirelanddotie That's a pretty crazy price difference. Surely the Yaris should be sub €50k
It annoys me that there are so many "hot" hatchbacks and so few "hot" saloons, for example, the Focus RS and ST have always been hatchback (and weirdly you can get an estate ST now, but of course the Focus saloon is gone), but never a saloon ST or RS etc :_ .

Paddy Car Spec.....Basically, it is the steering wheel gear Knob Edition, that's all you get!!! And you get charged handsomely for it too!!!
My fellow Americans: Let's all do our part: call or write Ford US Customer Relationship Center and tell them what their American customers want. If we all contact them, maybe they'll realize it's a profitable business decision to bring the Fiesta ST 6 spd manual transmission to the US/North American market. Wouldn't hurt to also ask for the Focus ST and/or Puma ST 6 speed !
