I was absolutely mesmerized as I watched you create pure magic on the canvas. You are soooo talented. The sky and the ocean waves appeared seemlessly and so effortlessly as though the viewer and yourself were there at that very moment in time. Please continue to share your gift with us. I too, have come through the very darkest and painful of times that life has a cruel way of throwing at you. But, I was just stubborn enough and fought my way back, just as I sense that you have. Anyway, I immediately subscribed and for the very first time, I am considering becoming a 'patron'. Although I don't know what the cost is and exactly what might be included. In my younger years, I only painted in oils. I have only recently begun painting again and have been working with watercolors and acrylics. Do you think that some of your works of art might be done in acrylic? If not, I am willing to try some of the new water soluble oils. Due to the cost and only a very, very tiny apartment, I am somewhat limited. Your input would be invaluable and help me make those decisions. Thank you, ever so much for sharing, not only your amazing gift, but for sharing your self. It takes an incredible inner strength and it comes through as you talk while you are painting. I think you're a fantastic artist and as real as it gets with your compassionate soul. I can spot a fake miles off and I've learned to trust my intuition. You're kind soul and when I become a famous artist or lottery winner I'll be able to help and become a member. I'm 70 yrs old on a fixed income and have been teaching myself, via UA-cam to paint. Being retired I can now devote most of my time to paint. Like you it makes me happy. I don't feel pain when I'm painting either. I'm hoping to make it a second income, but if not that's ok too, they make great gifts. I have sold two though this year and seemed to have gotten noticeably better, getting closer to intermediate. I think it was you that gave out the formula in one of your videos, for what the hell to charge for a painting... such a relief, because I want to paint not be a business person per se. Hi Justin I have watching you a year now. I love the way you talk and are yourself. I don't know where you live but I would like to live in the woods. Mostly for tranquility. I have a brain diease that I have to have a lot of time to think. I need a quiet peacefully place to live. I'm 74 years old and you and Bob ross have been teaching me to paint. I never new I wanted to paint acrylic paintings. Doing its much harder than I realized. I have high anxiety migraines and seizures and white matter diease of the brain. I'm afraid if I quiet trying to paint I will lose a part of me, my paintings are not very good but I think if I keep trying I will succeed to be a deceit painter. Probably will never sell a painting. Creating from a blank canvas is great joy. You have inspired me to want to try at age 74 even though I've never had any kind of trying not even art in school. I have found your landscaping techniques have helped me a lot. Yes I want to hear all about you. I think when you bring out that person that keeping his troubles out in the open will become extremely successfull beyond your wildest dreams. I too want to help others through my paintings. Hey Justin! So nice to see you on here checking in! Maybe you don't realize it...but there are many of us who can and do relate. I've suffered much in this life and struggle everyday with PTSD, thoughts and feelings that bring me way down. In my current situation of having BC, I thought maybe it was high time I decided to do something in my life that was more conducive to healing myself. That's when I saw your painting videos and decided to give it a shot. My very first painting I did was with you! It turned out way better than I ever imagined. Not that it was a masterpiece or anything...but everyone else was shocked. What that revealed to me was that even though my heart is shattered, and my head constantly works against me...I too can paint with the guidance of others like you. You have a very special gift...sometimes our pain is the very thing that brings us to a place of peace and satisfaction as we put our emotions into creativity. Whether it is paint to canvas or whatever countless creative ways people use to show their beauty. So just know that you have inspired many in a very positive way!! P.S I haven't been able to paint a thing since my first picture. I call it my happy accident! Be Well! 💕

Covid situation completely destroyed my family and livelihood .I’m about to lose everything.What’s more is just recently our income doubled but it’s too late to save anything ..really uncertain what’s going to happen .But any day I’ll literally be living in a tent in the pines ..I’ve been trying to draw portraits and just use art to cope and as bad as everything seems the art work is surprisingly good even to me . I believe you become exactly what you think about.Thanks for the positive message justin !!
So I want to tel you …this is insane ..I was at the very end of the rope man ..no hope to speak of ..cannot believe that tomorrow I was on deck for the ocean county sheriff at 1pm Was able to work it out with the person who bought the home ..I truly just tried to believe and have faith and remain positive !!! Thank you for always being positive and trying to keep others positive !!

I can see you’re going through some challenges and trying not to let it get the best of you. Brother around your neck you’re wearing the cross, the best reminder for yourself and for us…myself, that we can’t do it without Jesus. The first video I saw was of you yesterday but the video was actually four years old. LOL! It was a video for painting evergreens but it was entitled regarding depression. I’m going through some health and family stuff that is causing me anxiety attacks. I’ve never had this before and it always seems to hit me in the morning…like morning sickness. LOL! Anyway, I say all this to say, thank you for your genuine-es (?) because especially now a days, truth is soooo needed. I’m going to keep you in my prayers Jason. You’re a gifted artist who’s not afraid to share your secrets to a fine painting. God bless Brother, keep your chin up. There’s allot of “Jason’s” out there! Allot of hurting people and you truly are making a difference.

I can relate. You should always be proud of all your accomplishments. Don't dwell on negatives learn from them and continue to move forward. I keep trying myself. I haven't painted in well over a year. Some big upsets in the last 18 months but the biggest and worse was the sudden death of my husband last July. I, too, look at my art room which is in disarray from moving, and tell myself it's right there, go in and just start. It's not as easy as it seems. I love your "truth" videos. Take great care💖

I’m sixty-eight years younger. I didn’t find true happiness until I started painting. It’s like all the beautiful pictures in my soul came bubbling out of me one day. All the grey sad times I experienced receded into the past. Those sad times are still there because I need them to help me find the beautiful times. I’m not a great painter but I have sold some of my work because my feelings seem to resonate with others. Besides my children and grandchildren who are my most precious works, I have truly found fulfillment in this sorrowful world.

I’m sixty-eight years younger. I didn’t find true happiness until I started painting. It’s like all the beautiful pictures in my soul came bubbling out of me one day. All the grey sad times I experienced receded into the past. Those sad times are still there because I need them to help me find the beautiful times. I’m not a great painter but I have sold some of my work because my feelings seem to resonate with others. Besides my children and grandchildren who are my most precious works, I have truly found fulfillment in this sorrowful world.
