Get rid of those gastly pull straps! It cheapens the look.
Thin out the base at least 4". Put a slender foot on it. The support should be 1/2 or 1/3rd the dimensions of the pad. The foot should reflect one of those depths or both combined. This will get rid of the cheap look factor!
