I like space saving furniture such as the coffee table transformed to dining table, study table under the bed. I just wonder the price ? Good job keep innovation.
Love this book! ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxpCNxqmAkyjN6NPx1fyB7QiEFWyO5mUWL it is simply one-of-a-kind! I really love it, because karah explained all tools required to have the job done, not mentioning the fabulous diy pallets ideas. I'm pretty sure this will be a fresh start in my new endeavour. Amazon was great, they delivered on time. Thank you!
I visited a friend in Paris one week, about 25 years ago. I had never seen such a small apartment before but with the high price of RE in Paris, it wasn't all that unusual. He had a full sized bed that would come down from the ceiling via a hydraulic system in the living area and would end its descent just above the coffee table and sofa. Ingenious! And in the morning, a switch of a button would return it to its lofty stored spot in the ceiling. This was his very own design but had to keep it private because it would have been illegal to install in that part of the city.
Basically, yeah, so what poor people have to do is poor people options like futon beds with storage underneath, plus folding furniture when possible. It's nice they had a fancy loft bed and desk combo, but at most poor people would be stuck with instead is just a basic loft bed and whatever ladder comes with it. As for me, I do a camp cot which I can move easily or break down as needed.
Although that sort of bunk bed isn’t so uncommon in Germany and affordable. Even Ikea has a number of things like it - or children‘s bed that can expand when the kid grows.
True. This still will never catch on unless it's ACCESSIBLE. The Russian podium company and Korean loft bed company are nice to look at but nobody can buy them.
One rule to not forget about these space saving furniture, most especially the transforming beds, is that you'll have to use them everyday. Imagine yourself setting up your bed every night and tucking it every morning. Eventually you might feel it like a chore and decide to just leave it at one particular configuration permanently. Having a mechanical versus automatic is also something to think on. Anyway i think the crib one is a great idea. Just take care of the furniture so it would still look new once you set it up as a regular bed.
I think a lot of people here are forgetting that there's been plenty of times in human history where people lived in small spaces. Bigger spaces meant more fuel to heat them and more material and this more expensive to build them. If there's one major thing we've lost in modern society, it's not so much the indoor living space so much as it's the nature that used to be just outside.
I love the Konstanta sofas with the storage underneath, so useful and they look really stylish and comfortable. Trouble is I think I would constantly be falling asleep on them!
Big no to that balcony🤣. I would be terrified of having that in my home and having a final destination ending. I'm sure it's designed to be reliable and accident-proof.. but still.
I love the concept of the window to turn into a balcony but I would be too nervous to actually go out there…. Would feel better if concrete was underneath me instead of glass.
These are the perfect space saving ideas if you for some reason live in a shed sized house but got an extra million dollars laying around. I love how the table that drops from ceiling is "perfect for any house". Yeah, any house w 12 ft ceilings lol.
I usually watch these type of videos because I have a small room and like a few things but when I watched this video I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVER.
I think the very best were the beds that slid under a platform. And all the other drawers under there . Also the crib combination which transformed into a bed for an older child . Oh and the balcony window, I'd like to install that here! So very clever. All of them actually. K
I'm definetly in love with all those great inventions! Especially the window-to-balcony idea! Wow...what a spectecular thing! Helpful in so many reside situations with less options for fresh air or like here....to even sit or stand on a tiny balcony, only by just pushing a button to change from one form to the other and back! ❤😻😻😻😻
It’s impractical. Your very expensive living room window now has scratches all over it, from people’s shoes and furniture that was on it the day before.
It's all very creative and fun to watch, but for starters I wouldn't want to build and rebuild the room every day with all those foldables and secondly... I am scared to ask for the price of all these gadget like furniture. It looks very expensive.
Agreed 100%. The people living in smaller areas to save money probably cannot afford the cost of these things. Especially the installation costs of a lot of them. Plus things that can be re-adjusted take time to do so. I doubt 95% of people would do so unless they really NEED to do so. And like I said- are those who “need” it actually able to afford it?
OMG. That up down system at timestamp 2:30 is magnificent. I was looking for an option to use my bedroom as my office but I had to figure out what to do with the bed and this is perfect.
The KRE bed is my favorite, just because I think it's the solution to my studio apartment problem. A Murphy bed requires mounting on the walk, and I don't want to even address that with my landlord.
The crib set up is AWESOME! I would have LOVED this set up 25 years ago! Not a clue the price, but having lived in a tiny house (580 sq ft) with my kiddos, this would have been a life saver, so I would have easily paid $400 or more for it
The Platform storage Bed "and" the Hydraulic Swivel Television were favorites! But the "sliding" Murphy Bed with hidden chairs at the desk were #1! ;-D
1.00 G-plan did a table like this back in the 1950s except it was even more practical because instead of simply folding away inside - it could if needed to - the centre came out and could be used on its own as a separate coffee table. I grew up with this dining set and or the 4 of us we only needed the small table while the extension parts were in the living room being used as coffee tables. Old news/design, by about 67 years.at least as (mum and dad bought it in 1957)

Steel triple bunks were available in some countries after governments got rid of them for the military and prisoners. I bought one 13 years ago so my grandhildren could stay with me. They now live in their own house with their parents the "monster bed" which had new mattresses is still in use for one child. The monster means they can invite friends for sleepovers.
As insane as it sounds, I actually would enjoy that ceiling-dropping system without power. I'm imagining a giant wheel and chains lowering this massive slab down like an old Frankenstein movie. Tell me that wouldn't be sick. Wouldn't look weird in a garage or shop.
The author does like to from scratch, ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. As another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us don’t have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we won’t be able to practise the full stack project, is still great.
I won't be interested in a hide-away bed until it hides away complete with pillows and quilt. Otherwise you just need another cupboard to hide them in.
The "Divide Table" costs $1500 or more now! Some great designs, but the cost is prohibitive to the average apartment dweller. At an average cost of $2,000 for the frame alone, nobody can even afford a Murphy bed anymore!
I think a company like this needs to get with a tiny home building company like Incredible Tiny Homes and seeing what they can do together to make fully furnished tiny homes.😅
I loved the video its simply really amazing truely innovative khdos to the makers of such cool space saving jdeas. I simoly loved the window to balcony concept... One cant even think of such an innivation
I like the idea of bed space under the study table with closet and and sofa bed, just fix for thirthy square meter of my studio type house. How i wish to have that ,for space.
Which one of these space-saving furniture did you like the most? Let us know in the comment!
I like space saving furniture such as the coffee table transformed to dining table, study table under the bed. I just wonder the price ? Good job keep innovation.
4 car garage I'm still building on lol.
Vertical bed and/or table
The one with hidden bed under floor
Konstanta furniture is great. Bed under the higher floor in a bedroom.
The crib-combo that turned into a children's bedroom later on. That was smart. Providing the materials last that long.
Love this book! ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxpCNxqmAkyjN6NPx1fyB7QiEFWyO5mUWL it is simply one-of-a-kind! Anything that requires electricity to transform is too prone to errors and breakdown for me. I like the crib and the Konstanta couches.
Not only that, the main problem at least for most people is money.
plus the electricity bill may go up.. (fyi idk abt bills that much, just speaking from my parents experience)
Yea, the maintenance also has to super tedious
Crib was definitely the best one
A religious Jew who doesn't use electricity on weekends agrees
Whoa … the baby bedroom conversion to an older child’s is awesome. Nothing wasted 👏🏾👏🏾
I have trust issues with the balcony. Kinda scary to me. But, for the crib. Gosh, I was surprised. It's the best on the list.

Is it illegal to install such mechanism in Paris or in that bulding or apartment?? Sounds insane...
@@blackmamba5380 I think it depends on the way a ceiling is constructed. Maybe it’s not fit to carry that weight.
Van life couples use these hydraulic beds alot
Ingenious but pri$ey
Useless for rich, expensive for poor.😂

Technology is always thus
😂😂😂😂
Solution to that: DIY
@@rasmuspedersen3563 There's only so much one can do with limited space and tools, though
The fact that the crib can grow with your child seems like a worthwhile investment depending on the price.
That crib is genius, love how it's still useful as the kid grows. Up until puberty probably.
I like the window into balcony design, it should be wide spread into every home, it save space and help to lift human mood.
You see the problem with these items that help save space is that they almost cost more than just paying for a bigger space
Although that sort of bunk bed isn’t so uncommon in Germany and affordable. Even Ikea has a number of things like it - or children‘s bed that can expand when the kid grows.

I love the podium beds with all the storage under.
The crib bed that can be utilised as the child grows is ideal as its a saving.

Yey ok
I have to totally agree with your laurels
I love the Konstanta sofas with the storage underneath, so useful and they look really stylish and comfortable. Trouble is I think I would constantly be falling asleep on them!
Thanks for sharing! Tottally agree :)
Big no to that balcony🤣. I would be terrified of having that in my home and having a final destination ending. I'm sure it's designed to be reliable and accident-proof.. but still.
Love how you can use one piece for many other uses!
I love the concept of the window to turn into a balcony but I would be too nervous to actually go out there…. Would feel better if concrete was underneath me instead of glass.

Obv it's all cool engineering and design, just obscenely indulgent.
Van life ppl use this idea
Hydraulic beds

Window shifted to balcony is an awesome idea...Hats of to the creators.
I love how you mention who the architect or creator is so we can look it up
It's all very creative and fun to watch, but for starters I wouldn't want to build and rebuild the room every day with all those foldables and secondly... I am scared to ask for the price of all these gadget like furniture. It looks very expensive.

Ive heard over 50% of people who buy tiney homes do not stay in them. Its novelty for a while but to actually mive that out is not comefortable

The balcony, slide out beds and crib unreal ideas
I love them all but the baby furniture that turns into kid's furniture is totally genius.
I enjoyed the podium system and the crib. Very useful
I like that the crib will change as your child gets older. That's efficient. You don't have to buy more furniture when they outgrow their crib.
Hello Monica
The crib set up is AWESOME! I would have LOVED this set up 25 years ago! Not a clue the price, but having lived in a tiny house (580 sq ft) with my kiddos, this would have been a life saver, so I would have easily paid $400 or more for it
All are great, but that crib that becomes a whole bedroom set was genius!
I love every single idea especially the top single bunk with step drawers and desk
Love some of the ideas, but the space needed for most is either too big or too high to fit into our house.
The Podium murphy bed, SpaceMax Murphy bed, and Konstanta furniture were my favorites! Thanks!
The Platform storage Bed "and" the Hydraulic Swivel Television were favorites! But the "sliding" Murphy Bed with hidden chairs at the desk were #1! ;-D

I like the baby crib and the balcony and queen size bed sofa very well
Tutte idee fantastiche veramente 👍😍 amo tantissimo questo tipo di di arredamenti.
I love the tv coming down and the couches turned into a bed outstanding awesome stunning creativity👌👌👌❤❤
Pure genius, I love the concepts.

The cradle was a amazing space saver
Love them all, But liked the last couch the best
Now, I am in love with this kind of idea in small spaces...
I think they are all very ingenious!
Awesome tips, still in time for sharing new Christmas gifts suggestions, fans
The Bow Window is my favorite !!😉
That balcony scares the heck out of me as a person with fear of heights….

I liked space saving study table
I like the coffee table to kitchen table and the konstanta furniture
The bed that looks like for a dorm room with the little office under ...
I love both bed space for children and adults fun exciting video
1:30 My clumsy hands got scared 😂😂 but the table looks so incredible
Smart funiture is the future!!!
I really like the bed idea 💡, very useful and the window balcony’s 👍 🥰
A Murphy bunk bed would be a much simple and space efficient solution.
I love the platform unit that hides the bed underneath - great idea
These are all pretty innovative✨... the balcony that pops out is a bit scary though 😂😅
I like that origami table

saving space nor boring space
Interesting. All this money could be gathered and for it a several appartements could be build. With much more needed space.
I loved the video its simply really amazing truely innovative khdos to the makers of such cool space saving jdeas. I simoly loved the window to balcony concept... One cant even think of such an innivation
All are great ìnnovations.

С другой стороны, зачем частному дому балкон? Выходи на веранду дыши воздухом.
são ótimas ideias para ser usadas em uma casa, só falta o dinheiro para ter essas ideias.
Please let me know the kids bed and study table combo one... I'm interested in buying...
Hi, Thanks for your comment. You can find related links in the video description!
I like the idea of bed space under the study table with closet and and sofa bed, just fix for thirthy square meter of my studio type house. How i wish to have that ,for space.
This nice and all. But thats expensive I can tell some of those are more expensive than your apartment rent
Very good idea I wants to purchase some one
Awesome furniture!
The baby crib looks more like hazard, then a storage space solution. All the same thank you for providing some interesting ideas. Much appreciated :)
Meu like é o 14 mil!
Tables are used all the time in my house
This is awesome
Happy new year! It is beautiful.
Loved all
Could you do a video of these kinds of cool furniture that is made in America? Thank you.
We can try :)
