I must say, Jay and Amber, y'all have raised the bar for the reaction channels. This is a brilliant series and proof that the artists want younger generations to hear their music. I've noticed the pride in the artists' eyes and if I'm not mistaken, I sense a bit of pleasant nostalgia. It's that same nostalgia I feel when watching someone react to a song that means a lot to me.
Well said. I agree 100%. These have been great to watch! I’m so excited each week to see who they have and look forward every night to watch the reactions. A treat to myself.
Another banger! I think this song perfectly expresses what many artists with some fame probably fear on their way up or down. This is from my favorite BCR album, Dedication. You really need to listen to more songs off of this one. Thank you, again, for bringing Woody to your show!
Amber and Jay looks like your achieving some of your bucket list having these guests on ....Great job👍 Loved the Bay City Rollers even drew portraits of them....when I was a kid....Good Times.. Hi Woody😀
13:20 Awesome!!😎♥️. 🎶🎵🤸💃🙌🙌💜👣 When i was 11, someone bought me the Bay city Rollers album with Saturday night on it! Loved it so much! Hearing this song brings back lots of memories of me doing karaoke, before that was even a thing, in my bedroom! Wooohoooo!! Enjoying this interview! Thank you!!🙌🙌❤
The song was written by Harry Vanda and George Young who is the older brother of Angus and Malcolm Young of AC/DC , Vanda and Young were in the Easybeats in the 60s Australia’s Beatles to a degree , they had the son Friday on my mind which in Australia is regarded by many as our greatest song
O my gosh Jay and Amber with Stuart WOODY Wood! I am enjoying this special version of your channel; I haven't heard this song in years and yet I remember it well too! Great job on this interview guys, you are doing great! ☮💕
Wow, this brings back memories!!! my 5 siblings and I were all HUGE Bay City Rollers fans...we had the albums, the teen magazines, AND the plaid sowed into our clothes. I specifically remember playing badminton in our back yard with the Rollers music blasting out the open bedroom window. Sometimes, we bring the record player outside, put it on a chair and plug it into an outside outlet...man, those times just seemed so much more free and simpler!!! Rollers 4EVER!! And, yes, a scarf ain't a scarf unless its' tartan!!
You're on a roll with this new series, having the artists themselves on here is awesome and no one else is doing it, while other reactors are saying goodbye, you all are going strong. Keep it up! 14:01
Hard to believe so many of the original band members are gone. Such an underrated band here in the United States but I remember all too well as a kid when this band was on the Kroft Superstars Saturday morning cartoon show. I loved watching them perform. They brought such an energy.
My older sister was a huge Rollers fan growing up. Had all the tartan gear and I can still picture the posters on her wall. Thanks for this all three of you….
My bedroom walls were completely covered in BCR (esp. ones with Eric) posters...couldn't even SEE the walls! The fans are STILL out there (on Facebook)...50 years + later!
Great reaction Jay and Amber! Our mother my two younger sister and I loved these guys and their Music! Yes, even our mother. My mother loved all of them though, Alan was her favorite! I am so glad that people from your generation enjoy these guys as much. Their popularity was called, "Rollermania." I think that it speaks volumes! Thank you for having "Woody" on your channel, Dena.
I absolutely LOVE the Bay City Rollers--been a fan since the mid '70's; "Yesterday's Hero" is definitely one of my favorite songs! Thank you for having Woody on your channel--KOR (also known as "Keep On Rollin'")! Please react to "Money Honey"...it's another great song by the BCR! 🔥♥🎵🎶🎸...Eric--(lead guitar player in the long white coat) was and still is my favorite♥
B. A. Y. B.A.Y. B.A.Y. C.I.T.Y. with an R.O.DOUBLE L. E. R. S. Bay city rollers are the best!!!!! I remember running around with friends singing it lol, I was only 6/7/8
This is on my husband’s playlist!!❤❤ So, I hear it all the time, such a great time, so great time!🔥🔥 Thanks guys, so cool to interview a member of the band!!❤❤❤
Thank you for mentioning this. I had no idea. I've watched a lot of Friends, but I must have missed that episode. I don't remember it anyway. Thankfully, it is on the Friends UA-cam channel. Just search for ''Friends planning a wedding' and you'll find it. Æ 🙏
Hi my name is Debbie and I loved these guys like no other....just thought I'd let u know when u hear all.the creaming We want the Rollers that is me and 64,000 screaming fans. This song is off of their Dedication Album that they recorded in Toronto Ontario Canada....hope u enjoy.....
My mum, to this day would die for the Rollers! She now has children (me-43] and the grandchildren(oldest 12] and we all love them! One of the best Scottish legacies!
Oh wow that was so awesome, he is still so handsome as ever just so mind blowing, I still listening to the Bay City Rollers in my 60's, I won't stop listening to them, we had the best years of music in the 70's.❤❤️
I can't even tell you how excited I was to see this! Loved them & Woody was my little kid crush❤ This song is awesome! You guys are really connecting with the artists through your appreciative and respectful reactions.
I love the way Woody looks and grins while watching you guys and his video. Such a joyful genuine man. Amber...we used to call those high legged pants "clamdiggers"! 😂 Girls wore cool-lots, not guys, but pretty much the same thing.
Yesss, Woody is awesome. Bay City Rollers bring some truly fun memories and had some of the best 70s roller skating dance tunes ever. Such cutie pies. Thanx so much, stay groovy, Peace
Wow, having a reaction video with the artist present. This is a first for me. Congrats to a great interview and video. Stuart looks like time has treated him well.
I love the Bay City Rollers. It's such a part of my childhood and I love you for making it come to life for me. Having Stuart on was such a treat! Thank you so much.
Vanda and Young wrote this song for John Paul Young who had a big hit with it in 1975. You should check out John Paul Young singing this and also his many other hits (Love is in the Air, I Hate the Music, Standing in the Rain).
Oh dear heavens, thanks for this! I was a rabid BCR fan and was at Nathan Philip Square that day. Great to see Woody, always enjoyed the song he sung 4 o'clock in the morning… Roller Gear was just Roller gear and the Roller haircut was a “tufftie”, Damon we were hardcore back then. Thanks for taking me back!
Love The BCR! My first concert at age 14! So glad Woody is still doing it!! Sad that Alan, Les, and Ian are no longer with us. What a great band they were. I'm almost 62 and I have them always playing on my play list. And Amber when you mentioned "Culottes" your mom is right! They were so popular for girls in the early 70's, but a one piece. The Rollers did their own version with Tartan. Also, I remember Eric's hair cut was called a "pineapple" cut... this was before punk rock happened. :)
I think it's a brilliant series you two it's great hearing the behind scenes from from the artist and what went into the songs it gives me even better memories then I already had also bellbottoms were big in the 70's. Also you gotta realize we didn't have cellphones in the 70's we listened to radio's records and 8 track tapes so to hear one of our favorite bands live so we lived in the moment and had fun
My favorites from the Bay City Rollers included a ballad called "The Way I Feel Tonight" and "Rock 'N Roll Love Letter". Former member, Ian Mitchell, went on to be in one of my favorite bands called Rosetta Stone, though there was another band in the early 90's with the same name. You should check out "Penny", "Free As A Bird", "Who Are You"......
Stuart! Man... the 70s as a kid. Watching their show on TV with Krofft Superstar Hour. That show was awesome! If featured things like Dr. Shrinker, Land of the Lost, Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, Wonderbug and more. This takes me back! I still jam to SATURDAY NIGHT all the time.
When we were growing up, The Bay City Rollers were my cousin's absolute favourite! I introduced her to this segment, and now she's hooked on Rob Squad. You two really are the best. 😁
BCR war meine erste Favourite Band. I collected BRAVO Starschitt-Parts and all the articles. I loved their Music and their Attitude. The song is great. Voice aof Leslie unbelievable. Love you! :-)
Yeah, I'm gonna have to check it out if they come back over here on tour. I was too young to see them live when they broke out but had the album and played it all the time as a kid, then saw them when they came to campus around 1987. The place went nuts, I remember it like it was yesterday.
I'm in Rochester Hills Michigan which is less than 100 miles from Bay City. With them being from Scotland, I wonder how they came up with their band name
I win, i am in Bay City. They couldn't think of a name and wanted to sound American cause that's where the money is so they threw a dart at the US and hit us. I saw them when we had them here to present them with a key to the city.
Saw BCR 1976 in Melbourne Australia with my sister , only thing we remember was teenyboppers screaming inside and ambulances everywhere outside with injured girls
Guys , I had always wished that you influencers would have interviews with these past artists. Im really happy for this format you have. You're both great!!!
I'm still wondering how the hell did you awesome pair get to have Woody on your live, so proud 👏 Anne from a land down under Australia is our name 🇦🇺🇦🇺👍

It's clear from the way he looks at the screen that it reminds him of good times.
I still listen to all of my BCR records. They didn't get enough credit for their songwriting. Such a good power pop band.
I loved Woody's face,as he watched himself and the lads play.
Woody was, is and always will be my favorite Roller.
I hope more 70s bands make more great music i miss my 70s childhood
The girls at my school in the mid-70s all liked Woody the most as well.
Jay & Amber, you'd like their "Money Honey"!!
Woody appreciated your love of the guitar riff, since he was playing it! 😊
Another banger! I think this song perfectly expresses what many artists with some fame probably fear on their way up or down. This is from my favorite BCR album, Dedication. You really need to listen to more songs off of this one. Thank you, again, for bringing Woody to your show!
OMG. My older sister was in love with Woody! I remember watching the BCR's during cartoon shows on Saturday morning.
Woody looks really good for his age. Looks like he's in his early 40's.
Amber and Jay looks like your achieving some of your bucket list having these guests on ....Great job👍
Loved the Bay City Rollers even drew portraits of them....when I was a kid....Good Times..

This is great!! Always loved the Bay City Rollers. Rock 'N' Roller is my favorite. The Creators videos are awesome hearing from the actual artists.
Dedication has some great music. Happy to Woody looking so good. Still sad about the loss of Les.

I just can't get enough of Woody and BCR!! Thank you Rob and Amber for bringing us such amazing video interviews. You guys are the best!!!
The Bay City Rollers was one of the first albums I bought as a kid, and the start of my fascination with Scotland.
I’m loving this new series!
Thanks for making me smile. My first 8 track was the Bay City Rollers.

OMG. I'm ready to start sewing plaid onto all my white pants again. Love this!
I Want them 70s BAAAAACK
Thank you Woody for being here!!🙌👣❤💃🎵🤸
This song was also a huge hit in Australia for John Paul Young. You've reacted to him before with the song "Love is in the air"
Did you even watch the interview?
@gotham61 No not yet. I just saw the song title. Probably should've watched first
I love JPY's "Yesterday's Hero"
@racheltrezise1132 yes I used to love the Rollers but I think JPY's version is better
@@Shellgrit Me too. I must admit though, that I hadn't heard the Rollers version until today.

I probably drove my mom crazy back in the 70's, as much (and as loud) as I played this song. Always loved BCR.
I fell in love with the BCR's in 1974 and still love their music. It's nice to see Woody.

Wow! 40K ppl show up at your concert, that’s insane 💫 I can hear the security telling fans to move back too
It breaks my heart to think of what happened to them and how they were treated.
The Bay city rollers were so popular. I feel so privileged to grow up in the 70s. Thanks for this video, and your appreciation of music from all eras!

The Bay City Rollers was my first “concert”. I was about 10 and saw then at Knotts Berry Farm in So Cal.
Great AC/DC connection with this song.
Saturday Night is my fave BCR song. I also love I Only Want To Be With You. So many memories. Yes, I had the Roller outfit. Still love plaid. ❤🎸
Great videos and great to see Woody. The rollers were massive .

It was a precious opportunity to hear an episode about the recording of Yesterday's Hero directly from Woody❤ Thank you very much!
I used to roller skate to a lot of bay city rollers. ❤

My young sister loved the Bay City Rollers , we are from Paisley in Scotland 🏴👍🏻😀

I have a close friend who was one of the original "Tacky Tartan Tarts," the hardcore groupies who followed them around worldwide.
My favorite song is Dedication.

Omgosh, I totally forgot about this song! Love it!!
BCR Dedication was my first album!
This was my anthem when I was 11 years old!!!
I love these specials with the actually artists, well done must feel good to know they think so highly of your channel ❤
You keep referring to them as easy listening. I suggest you listen to Money Honey by the Bay City Rollers.
And also Rock n' Roller
