- The reverse shrimp is a crucial movement when it comes to closing distance for offense or creating better angles for defense and escape. It doesn't get a whole lot of love, though, when it comes to standard warmup flows. That should change though, and you can start by practicing this movement on your own.

For you other white belts practicing this at home, keep in mind that unless you’re on a mat or other slick surface this may feel hard.
