- G'day, guys! In today's video, I give you a 3-month update on how my large form Monstera deliciosa Thai Constellation and Platinum Mint are doing after I propagated them.

Long story, short, they've both done incredibly well, bouncing back after the chop & prop vigorously. Both of the Monstera now have multiple growth points taking off.
I definitely think the way I propagated my Thai Con is an effective way of getting the most out of your propagations as it now has at least 3 growth points.

If the rot comes back, chop it all off an let it lay out in the air for a couple of hours too dry. That’s how I saved mine. Good luck. 💚

After some research (and a few months) I have realized the Albo I bought for$100 is in fact an Albo Lechleriana. I'm still super-happy with its beautiful variegation. I have since order Deliciosa Albo wetsticks. When will your Albo props be available for sale? Also, any interest in a Lechleriana prop lmk
Hey Pete I'm new to this indoor plant saga. How fo I know if I have a Thai constellation platinum or creme brulee?
I bought Perlite for the first time yesterday & when I opened the bag the grains were really small. Pete's Perlite it large.
So, Pete, I'm asking, does size matter? 👀
Might depend on what you're using it for and the size of the roots of the plant going into it.
I prefer chunkier perlite, I mean the point is to aerate the soil, so the chunkier the better! Fine perlite might be good for a succulent soil, for something with finer roots....I also love pumice instead of perlite, doesnt float to the top of the pot!
Rained alot last night so I came out to have a look at my plants. There was Perlite everywhere. It looked like the Popcorn maker had gone postal!

Looking great! Still waiting for new growth on my own deliciosa. It's one juvenile, but relatively established, plant and a couple cuttings from larger ones. Hopefully it'll look more like yours soon lol
