I personally really appreciate your willingness to openly share when you have changed something and why. Sometimes its because it wasn't as beneficial as you thought ( like abstaining meat) other times its because your goals changed. Whatever the reason transparencies help me to trust people. So thank you. I've tried to make keto coffee a few times. I probably just didn't do it right. But I just didn't get the hype. However, I always drink mine plain black. I love it. But on occasion I will add a little homemade whip cream from the freezer. No sugar added. Just cream with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top. That feels like a great treat

Thank you for your content. I am a coffee drinker back to the 1980s. No dairy. Dairy interferes with the digestion of the chlorogenic acid. No sugar. I use monk fruit sweetener or stevia. French press is great, but I am lazy about cleaning it throughly as it needs to be. So I stick with drip coffee using an unbleached paper cone or reusable gold filter. I don’t understand why people are willing to spend $50 or more per month for electrolyte powders. A teaspoon of Morton’s Lite Salt provides the same electrolytes…just add to water with lime, lemon and some monk fruit sweetener. Some people get addicted to those commercially made packets…as intended by the food scientists who formulate them. Unless you’re in early keto or an athlete, the benefit of electrolyte supplements are over promoted and of little value to most people. It produces expensive urine that is rich in sodium, magnesium, phosphate, calcium and chloride.
Double espresso and topped with frothed half and half! From my experience I don’t get the caffeine buzz from espresso as I diid with regular brewed coffee and the frothed half and half is absolutely delicious! Like a mini latte!
I enjoyed your honest confession. I feel exactly the same way about decreasing any real need or wants for the Keto coffee mixture as time passes on. Great video!
I'm a very deliberate person, so it makes me smile how you're always re-examining your needs as they change. Relatable! I can't have much caffeine, so I drink decaf. I'm weirdly partially allergic to coconut oil - I can eat it, but I react to it if it gets on my skin or lips. Because it floats on the top of the coffee, it kept getting on my upper lip and causing a reaction! So I gave up and I usually just have 2 tsps cream or half&half (whatever's around) with my decaf.
It really helped me get started with IF. Psychologically and with hunger. Also lately started wondering if I still need it and if it’s degrading my fasting period
8:03 wow… this is next level Autumn! I am kind of going through my own true nutrition and fitness wisdom these days 😂. Another amazing video Autumn. Thank you so much 💪❤️🇨🇦.
Love your video, I used to drink 2 - 3 packs of LMNT a day as that's my only "sweet" source, sadly all that sodium raised my blood pressure, be mind full of that.
You turned me onto keto coffee three years ago. I use an immersion blender which makes it very fun and easy. I tend to prefer it with about twice the recommended butter and coconut oil. I found it to be an instant "cure" if I'm afraid I've slipped out of ketosis after a big holiday meal with some broccoli and a dinner roll to be social, but not on my carnivore diet. I've often found that I can actually go all day without wanting to eat if I start with keto coffee. But money has been tight this year so I quit the keto coffee at the end of February. Just too expensive to keep buying all that coconut oil and extra butter. Now I drink black coffee some mornings, especially if I wake up drowsy, which is rare on the carnivore diet. But I find myself making poor choices recently because sometimes I "just want to eat something." I think going back on the keto coffee might help with that.
What I’ve noticed is that when I have my morning coffee with heavy cream, my keytones are significantly higher when I check them mid-day before breaking my fast, vs. when I drink coffee black. I am very fat adapted as well, but is there something about that little bit of fat first thing in the morning that helps your body with keytone production?
I’ve heard Some people are ok to have the flavored LMNT during a fast and some are not. Sometime people can still react to the Stevia even though it’s zero sugar but our taste buds play tricks on the brain because it tastes sweet and causes a blood sugar spike. Best thing to do during a fast is get a blood glucose monitor like (keto mojo) and test yourself before drinking LMNT on a fast. Then 1 hour after you have finished drinking LMNT (while still fasting) to see if you have a blood glucose spike from the stevia. Most people don’t react but some do. Everybody’s body is different and it’s always good to check yourself and test:) I hope this helps! For myself I cannot have stevia on a fast I’ve been sugar free and below 10g carbs a day for 8 months now but I do notice a spike in blood glucose when I test whenever I do have stevia.
But @autumnbates you forgot to answer one question: what is that recipe you're making with the beef and potato looking substance? I hope it's a recipe I already have in one of your recipe books.
I think at a mitochondria standpoint I don't think it's good long term..buuut it's absolutely delicious and I add beef gelatin and coconut whipping cream yummmm
Hi! She has another video on her coffee playlist about what you can use in your coffee without breaking your fast and hooray! Nutpods are an option (coconut, unsweetened version). My fav flavor is toasted marshmallow. Yummy!
Every single day my breakfast is half caff blended with a raw farm egg, scoop of equip beef isolate protein powder and a tbsp brown butter. Eating a proper meal is always best but I have never eaten breakfast my whole life and the thought of it just gags me. So this way I'm getting some protein and fat and coffee all at once. Do your own thing but this works for me.
Hi Autumn! I'm a long time follower and your methods have worked wonders for me! Speaking of adapting our needs along our wellness journey, where I started getting comfused is when ppl started saying that newer research says that women should not fast the week before and the first few days of their period. I'm a woman in my mid 30s and I do feel the low energy and do benefit a little from expanding my eating my eating window during that time but after years of having consistent results and getting properly fat adapted with your methods, after incorporating this information into my fasting routine, I now struggle to keep the consistency when I have to do this once a month. Just as I'm getting used to the discipline here comes my period week!!! What are your thoughts on this? Can you make a new video on your thoughts on this pls? Is it a must for women to fast in shorter windows before and during their period? Are there long term health problems in not doing so? Or does it affect our consistency in fasting and confuse our bodies and minds and therefore is not necessary? Would really appreciate a video on this. Thank you for the great content!!!
Especially for women, it’s very important to eat enough for the body’s needs. That’s why I’m a fan of shorter fasts like 12-16 hours. If you’re able to eat everything you need during your window, you feel great and you’re making the wellness progress you want, then I would stick with what’s working for you.
I used to do keto coffee sometimes. Now, when I don't want black coffee. I saw your video on whipping up heavy whipping cream and adding vanilla. I add the whipped cream, allulose, and a few drops of alcohol free stevia to my coffee and I'm good.

Very good information that makes sense. Thank you!

I read the top of this comment wrong LOL- it reads awkwardly “you turned me on” hahahah

I love the whipped heavy cream coffee flavor.... :)
Dairy interferes with the assimilation of coffee/tea polyphenols.
Thank you for this…I was kind of wondering why you hadn’t signed off “keto cheers” for so long! 😊
I hear you saying that if you don't need all the fat for satiety, then maybe you don't need full fat everything to lose fat.
I do not lose fat with higher fat
Being ‘gallbladder-less’ I have to say, the thought of butter in my coffee is 🤢. I just can’t do it.
Interesting video though. 👍💖
Are the flavored LMNTs ok during fasting window? Or should we only do the unflavored while fasting
I’ve heard Some people are ok to have the flavored LMNT during a fast and some are not.

Keto coffee dramatically lowered my coffee intake. When I stopped drinking keto coffee I went back to drinking a pot of coffee a day.
Nice one!❤❤
I wonder if would affect our lipid profile negatively?
Do you drink your coffee with half&half before you break your fast or after...which is one is OK?
I think at a mitochondria standpoint I don't think it's good long term..buuut it's absolutely delicious and I add beef gelatin and coconut whipping cream yummmm
What keto coffee were you drinking?
It had instructive points
Autumn I think you just answered my question but can one use nutpods in their coffee while fasting and how much?!?!

@@wfroedgern HI!!!!thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to respond to my question!!!!!!!😁😎
Please post link for whipped cream coffee!

Curious if your husband also quit. Keto coffee used to be a shared experience for you both!
CONGRATULATIONS on your promotion to fifth degree karate black belt. I've been looking forward to calling u Master Bates 4 a long time.

Womens fasts should not be the same all the time, need variation for hormonez
Ok so if I have keto coffee it will not disturb my weight loss with ADF? Because at first I was losing the weight in first week than 2 week I did not.
Autumn, if I am doing intermittent fasting with Keto, can I still have a whipped cream coffee during my fasting period?
I’ve always thought that keto coffee sounds absolutely disgusting. 🤢
It’s actually delicious!
I use half half all the time, question here: will it pull me out of ketosis ? Or it’s still fine for fasting period, thanks
Autumn, how do you know that you are metabolically flexible? This is a mystery to me.
Keto coffee seems like you are trying too hard...just use some cream and leave out the sugar.
Because it’s gross?
Agreed

❤
It helped so much with mental and cognitive health like nothing else ever did.
2 packets a day is 2000mg of sodium. That seems like too much.
Whipped cream coffee just sounds silly to me.
It's super yummy!
Heart attack!
Autumn bates married Brandin Stephens 😊😊😊😊😊
I think i really like you ❤
Thats fatty coffee NOT keto coffee. Black coffee is keto coffee
Watching on mute because you are extremely attractive❤
What keto coffee were you drinking?
She used coffee from purity coffee (mold and toxin free)
