Good info Damien. Considering that I have taken this exam, and passed, every bit of information is spot on. Having either version of the Solutions Architect will definitely be an asset, foundational as well as advanced knowledge will help you with this exam. One bit about Stephane’s course, my recommendation would be to supplement some of the services listed at the end with the official white papers. There are a few rabbit holes you will need to go down (KMS, Config, GuardDuty and Network Security(surprisingly, my exam was HEAVY on VPC security.)) Good stuff!
Thanks a lot for this. Company is flipping the bill for several different certs. This is the one I want but will start with your prerequisite recommendation since they will pay for that too💰
great advice! Very clear. I appreciate you list specific resources and *why* they help complete the Security Specialty exam. I'm working with an enterprise right now and will check if this will help my client. Thanks! Subscribed.
Damn I am studying for this now the plan is to spend 3 weeks and about 8 hours a day studying. I have basically all the same prep materials, and the services you mentioned I already have a good understanding on and have done labs with them. BTW I have worked in non cloud security before and hold other sec certs.
Hey Damien, would you consider creating a roadmap video for individuals interested in becoming Cloud Security Engineers? Including the skills needed for Amazon AWS to enhance our abilities would be helpful. Thanks😊
Thanks for the video, I appreciate you're exam. I am security engineer with Azure background, please which course can I use to study for the solution architect exam?
Yes! That video is still relevant to this day. Not much has changed since then. Also, it’s mostly conceptual to help you understand how AWS designed their core security services, especially IAM.

I definitely agree with everything you said - especially the need to know and understand VPC security. 🔐

GOOD ONE BRO
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed this video! ☺️💜
Odd I heard the SAP was the hardest and the Security Specialist is the easiest of all the specialty certs
I guess it depends on personal experience 🤷♂
Appreciate you for watching!
