- Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate gameplay with the Hunting Horn against G4 Dreadqueen Rathian. I haven't been this frustrated in Monster Hunter in a long time.

Hey don't you doubt adept hunting horn damage. It's mighty doots can eliminate blue crabbo on g2 in 7 minutes. The damage is there just loop the right moves and spam head hits D:
I mean.....I'm pretty sure Shogun Crab has waaaaay less HP than Dreadqueen and is a much easier fight lol. After Soloing EX Elderfrost with the Horn, I kinda realized the lack of damage.
@@Uno_HunterThe point is: Damage Per Minute of HH is good enough.
Dreadqueen is annoying, but not as lethal as say boltreaver. You also demonstrably know the moveset pretty well at this point. It might be worth it to get more damage out of HH and abandon the Antidote song. You can do over 1000, or even 1200, damage per minute with a HH. That is the important bit.
Shogun in G2 quest has: 8,200 ~ 8,680 HP
And you can bag it in 7 minutes w/o an amazing build, just with some concentrated head abuse and a good weapon choice.
This is true for just about any weapon, but the HH has a ton of buffs and other nifty tricks that can push your damage further.
@zwidowca1 I've been playing Horn for years but I think I sorta plateaued with my ability to where I'm no where as good with my longsword as I am with the Horn. Iceborne/Sunbreak Horn I feel amazing but this one and MH3U I feel like I'm nerfed

Sometimes it feels like defense stats in endgame GU dont really matter because every hit takes 70+% of health, or if you´re a gunner its just a 1 shot lol

I killed Ruiner the other day, Killed Fatalis, Got the Maxed out Fatalis Hammer, Got an Attack+ 4, which is a 1 in 1,000 chance, and yeah. That’s bout it. In order, Attack+4, Fatalis slain, maxed hammer, and Ruiner. I got the first Fatalis hammer thanks to a guaranteed Fatalis Evil eye with double head break. Managed to both slay Fatalis and get the materials necessary for the Fatalis demolished the next attempt
I will say I'm hating a bit that you got an Attack 4 deco 😔

About dragon's dogma 2. I would say wait a little bit. The performance is rough on pc, even on consoles. Finish the first one and the dlc if you haven't already.
I can only go so far in that part of the end game honestly it was about challenging a few of the monsters with different weapons that I wasn't good with at the time.
The evil diablos is a soft bastard for me lol. But I offer the Elders from this game c:

One thing you can do, to address the antidote song issue, is to perform the song to have it as your “last played”, then if you get poisoned, try to get a quick 2 purple special notes (ya know, by hitting the swing) and then pop that off real quick, get the self improvement and the antidote. Not a perfect solution, and just sheathing and taking an antidote is still probably better, but there’s some Hunting Horn tech for ya hahaha
I know about that but I don't have the brain power to remember what my last song I played was to do that strat lol. Also I would have to have an opening long enough to play the song where I could just pop an item which is faster than cuing up a song then playing it.

My favorite is HH is the regular Astalos one, I feel like its a good ol reliable option
Fav combo in this game is Valor Charge Blade, it has such a nice combat flow also, i wish Deviant music had the level up Zeniths have, imagine EX Deviants having their unique theme like Z4 Zeniths
Same, I hate how CB got so much hate in this generation. I've been running striker lately though with evasion (still need absolute rediness) ripper shield and energy blade

Adept dual blades is the most aggressive being able to dodge and attack... airial greatsword is fun but repetitive... adept charge blade is disgusting

Kind of unsure. I just make sure I'm recording at 1080p with obs and bump up some numbers in the encoder settings. And I played this in my Switch.
So how far away are you from MH3 G rank and when's that gonna happen
I plan out almost none of these videos. I kinda just randomly upload usually so I can't really tell you when G rank videos will happen.
For Hunting Horn i use valor cuz its the only style i play besides striker lance, the hunting horns i use are the grimclaw, silverwind, fatalis(black) I also use elemental HH like the Aria Rhota Dra, Daora's Diabassoon Ice, Khezu Keen Thn, Scaldertina Fir and the Artisanal Frog Wat, and then i use the Spica Melody with a mix set of esurient XR (hyper deviljho G-Rank sucks to farm), and ceanataur XR, a talisman with + 6 tenderizer and +10 critical eye and i add flying pub soul and sheath sharpen on top of that, and finally i have a blunt talisman to use with my bloodbath diablos armor and my Aged Horn cuz the HH is the only weapon that can get away with that kind of shit sharpness and not use Mind's Eye in the set. P.S: I have heard good things about the Crystalbeard HH and using blunt but tbh it will be a cold day in hell before i farm that monster, anyways hope it helps and happy hunting.
Isnt it better to use the ahtal ka hh to prevent poison alltogether? I used that online to help my racially innapropriate epitets and they loved not dying to the ultrapoison 😂
That horn does help but I don't really like how it looks lol. The poison doesn't bother me much.
I've fought the EX Dreadqueen Rathian so i have some tips for you. First of all, the super poisonous tail swipe from the sky is very easy to predict and evade, so use Adept style or Valor style to be absolutely sure that you'll dodge it. The "shotgun" blast is quite tricky, you must be VERY alert to have a chance to dodge it if the wind pressure affects you. Alter between defense and offense, use a Dragon or Thunder element HH or use a good longsword in your case. Focus on her wings, and then on her tail, cut off her tail and her poison will have less effect on you and it will be easier to get rid of it. And last but not least, never give up, her head is quite difficult to break, but once you do it, defeating her will be piece of cake.
Dreadqueen Rathian is one of my favorite deviants and i felt so proud of defeating her using my GS.
I'm a great fan of you, Uno! I always laugh really hard when i watch how a monster swings your hunter like a rag doll! xdxd
Edit: Oh!! I almost forgot something!! If you fight her using a hunting horn, use one that has attack increase and earplugs... It will be very useful. Also, with breaking one wing is enough to flash her when she starts to fly (Recommendation: Dodge her roar when she gets angry and immediately throw a flash bomb, that gave me good moments to attack without being afraid of retaliate). Also, only be scared if she flies towards your blindspot because, like a good Gold Rathian, it's almost sure that she will IMMEDIATELY do the flip attack... I still have nightmares with that. xdxd
Edit 2: My favorite style is both Adept and Valor, because they make the hunter look like a superhero... Or a Haki user xdxd. My favorite HH is one called "Black Lute", named in the end as "Fatalis Menace", it has attack boost, immunity to lava and cold, immunity to binding and earplugs!! And looks like a bass, A BASS!!
For my favorite style+weapon it gotta be the aerial glaive but one that Is pretty unknown that i like Is also the alchemy gunlance (which Is probably the least popular combination)
i miss the Marshlands. one of my favourite maps (along the Verdant Hills and the Citadel - which almost had a swamp as part of the map).
and a good home for Espinas, and Jyuratodus - since there's no monster to take advabtage of the mud and water (even if the Flooded Forest is a better home).
Hey Uno, love your videos! The Deviants saga is being my favorite, and I think the best one to let the Hunting Horn shine will be Crystalbeard Uragaan. Its cutting weak points are terrible, and the best hitzone is the broken chin, which can only break with impact damage.
To have an idea, the best hitzone for cutting are the arms with 42, won't even trigger Weakness Exploit! While a broken chin is 50 for impact, not to mention it is an easier target. Makes me want to learn Hammer or HH 🔨
How many hours do you have in the game?
Maybe around 500 hours and about 8 EX Deviants beaten

@@Uno_Hunteryou should at least play it with viewers, that would be fun. I understand the urge to solo stuff but i’d rather you try it with others than never touch it, frontier has a lot of cool stuff. Plus it’s easy to set up. Could make for some fun livestreams

Oh nice hunting Horn gameplay, i used hunting Horn for this girl in multiplayer and used the negate ailment song which Is from the gold Horn you mentionned that Horn Is the athal-ka Horn but as you Said it has low sharpness 😅. I don't remember what are the other Horns that have this song but it should have the same colored notes of the athal-ka Horn.
Btw for the ex i used prowler because its main way to heal also heals status because of that it was probably the easiest ex ive done.
I started MHGU eith adpet LS but then striker SnS stole my heart. Adpet CB is also really good.
