Maybe yall don't live in Buffalo, but the storm we were just hit with for 4 days straight was not a typical winter storm! I can promise you we get snow all winter long, which isn't a problem. It became a problem when the wind was 70 mph.

@@JohnPierceNC My family all live in North East Tennessee. It was 5 degrees over the holidays. It gets cold but not as cold as Buffalo. I live in south GA and it was 15 there Christmas

lucky buggers. never get more than half an inch of snow and never longer than a couple of days here in uk.
28 dead so far and many more likely in buried vehicles or having passed locked in their homes however they have not been discovered yet. Taking this lightly is what got too many in fatal circumstances. Frozen pipes bursting with flooding across the area has destroyed homes and businesses alike. Roof collapses and fallen trees have made their mark, coupled with widespread power outages. The exact toll will not be possible for a week or two as far as damage and lives lost. This is not the worst weather of course but respect that it is indeed not a good thing to simplify it as "not as bad" as other events? They all matter : ))

I can promise you wouldn't be getting no skis out with the 70 mph winds we just had! Snow is normal in Buffalo, this was not normal. This took 27 lives and without a doubt more to count.

Are you kidding me 😂 maybe you should look up snow total history 😂 NY 10-year! snowfall averages is 36.9” vs where I live in CO Average December Monthly! Snowfall of 81” and a base of 96”.
