Hello Vignesh! Thank you so much for the support & glad you've enjoyed this episode! 😋
Hope you guys are hungry for some awesome Ramen & desserts🍜🍧🍦
In the spirit of improving & keeping us on our toes here's how we felt about this video from a technical perspective:-
We had some issues early on with Rokurinsha as they had rather obvious music blasting through & this trip our lavalier microphone broke down, forcing us to only utilise shotgun mic throughout the trip. This means Wei Loon had to be filmed rather close to the lens, translating to many 'huge face' shots hahaha...
We also made the mistake of filming our "Plating Time' in a rather dark (and rowdy) cafe & it definitely shows...the lack of sharpness due to lack of light is glaring. We will do our best to not repeat this again.
Overall vlog was done rather decently, the initial montage would've been better if it was shorter but we had to settle for 30 seconds due to the chosen music.
Hope you'll still enjoy this vlog as we've worked really hard on it (not like we slacked in any episodes though haahhaha!)😋
Rokurinsha is the best tsukamen ramen in tokyo
FIRST AGAIN! hahaha I swear I am not camping the channel =p
"On the next episode we shall find out if the protagonist Fabian manages to keep the 'First Commenter' streak~" 😎
Glad to see you again Fabian, hope you'll enjoy this episode too! 😉
Nice vlog again ❤️, I personally need my beni shoga pickles on top of that tsukemen, the ajitama looked especially nice there. CU next time, bye Kate and stay safe
Btw it is not pork floss but minced pork called buta hogushi, the ajitama is best put into the dipping bowl, add some Shichimi-Pepper-Mix and you may ask the staff for yuzu powder, you may also request extra milder broth if it feels to strong. This style they serve usually had a bit more tanginess to it and they have several locations even at the airport. 🤗
Hi Kate 👋, once again thanks for watching & we're glad you enjoyed this episode 🤗
You're right on the minced pork, Rokurinsha translated it into 'pork floss' on their ticket machine so we followed suited so as not to cause confusion to any potential patrons to this shop haha 😁
The thing we love about Rokurinsha is the option to add Sichimi, Yuzu powder as well as Gyofun, all within reach on each table! Sometimes when the broth lacks some depth the Yuzu powder & Gyofun helps a tonne 😋
Golly! that packet of chips!!!
Japanese lor mee in a weird way? haha! but looks oishi though!
That's indeed a HUGEEEEEEE pack of chips hahaha~
Never thought of it as Lor Mee, but now that you mentioned it....it does look somewhat like that hahaha, taste is completely worlds apart though 😝
How's the ramen in Tokyo compared to KL?
Hi Kenny 👋, it was a world of difference 😉
