Wealth inequality is such a problem in London. The reason Fortnum's can charge 70 GBP is that there are enough Londoners and even tourists who are willing to spend that to either say they've been there or to check that item off their bucket list. But it is NOT value for money, and while doing these sorts of things used to be a once in a while treat for many, now regular folk are priced out of the experience. That said, there are tons of places offering wonderful teas all over London, where you don't need to break the bank and I would suggest to anyone to try that route instead of giving Fortnum's their extortionate fee for the dubious pleasure.

Hi there 👋, as the video is a couple of years old there could have been changes in food quality. We’ve recently revisited them & did notice they have gotten really famous 😂, & perhaps due to the crowd the quality of the Hokkien Mee has dropped rather drastically, such is the unfortunate case of restaurants gaining fame. It could also be due to day to day inconsistencies too, just like Lao Ping where at times their Hokkien Mee could be burnt 😅 Do share with us your favourite Hokkien Mee spots, we haven’t had a good one in quite a while😋

Hi there, first of all welcome!!! We're glad you've enjoyed this vlog & hope you'll continue to enjoy our food hunts😋 We recall this vlog vividly as it was our first attempt at filming a fine dining establishment, everything was hectic & we were so under equipped in terms of skill to do Yam'Tcha the justice it deserves😂. As such, in order to streamline the filming process we decided to only pick one person to present and the task fell on Wei Loon. There are episodes where Quet commentates on certains foods as well but as she's the better camera (wo)man of the two, she mostly resides on the other side of the lens (that's how we get those mouth watering close ups!) You might also find us not having updated our vlogs since June 2023. That's cause we are currently on a break from UA-cam due to family matters but we plan to be back as soon as we can as this is a passion of ours. Hello there, it’s a shame you did not enjoy Choon’s Prawn Mee, during the period of our filming they were the best around😋 We haven’t been for a couple of years now, hope their standard hasn’t dropped 😉

HI! Would you recommend Kondo over Fukamachi for lunch? We are going this April and can't decide! TIA!

Hi Cristian, as we've not visited Fukamachi we are afraid we won't be able to answer your query hahaha...regardless we are sure any of the two tempura shops will be an awesome experience! Have fun in Tokyo!
