Your video was amazing and so very easy to follow. Like one commenter had mentioned, I too have searched far and wide for a good strap video, and the ones that would say “beginner friendly”, ended up being a “beginner nightmare”! 😂 I’m almost done with my bag, and I emailed me your video, so when I’m ready to make my strap, I don’t lose your video. I do have to say, your video was like a breath of fresh air ☺️! So, thank you, thank you for sharing ❤️❤️!!

Okay but what if the strap of your bag is longer than what you've done can we still follow this method

    • @atinyzen8443

I’m not entirely sure what you mean, but as long as you keep the same method/stitches, you can adjust it to whatever length you want it to be

This helped so much and I will definitely use it from now on, but mine is curling up a lot and it looks like it’s been rolled up. I tried flattening it out, but it’s not really doing anything. Is this normal or am a doing something wrong?

mines doing this too and i have a feeling its because my tension is too tight. try loosening your stitches as you go along and see if that helps? worst case iron it on low heat once finished

edit: also count how many stitches are on your hook every time. There should be 7 at all times. ☺️

Ate you going through 2 stitches all the way across? Or are you going through 1 stitch, then 2 stitches all the way across? I'm a beginner and I've already made my bag. Now I need to make a strap for it.
