How do we connect this to an already made crochet bag?
Eso mismo me preguntaba yo
Mine also spiralled
This video was easy to follow. It was the right pace. Plus It had none of the talking that distracts me, like in other videos.
I made this handle for my bag. It was easy to make and a very pretty handle. Excellent & easy steps to follow. Thank you for your video.

I ended mine with a single crochet across the top and then just shaped it so it wouldn’t be at a slant.
Thanks! I was just searching for an answer to that issue 😁
Thank you so much! I just finished a bag and needed a strap to go over the head and shoulder for it. This is perfect! It won't stretch (hopefully!) like a strap that uses single crochets across and won't hurt like a strap with a chain along one side of the long edge. 😊
Did it actually not Stretch overtime?
Perfect strap for my bag woohoooo it’s pretty, it’s stunning and it’s easy win win win thank you lovely lady, God Bless xx
Wow ! Thank you ; i'll be using this to make tabs for all the hats i make ; like a brand tab . Genius. The bias texture makes it super sturdy.
THIS STITCH IS AWESOME!!!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING
HI ViVi BC , thank you -just the best cord/strap I needed for my mob pouch😊
Can you show how you might add this to a crocheted purse/bag?
Gostei estou fazendo
Yeah I am adding it to a bag and I’m just kinda adding it on by slip stitching into the part where I want to start the strap and then make chain and make this strap but every round that u end on the purse, just sl st into the next st of the bag, then keep going, once ur done, use the access yarn that is still attached to sew the other side to where u want the strap to end. (With tapestry/darning needle)
Thank you! It is beautiful and the slow pace is so easy to follow!
Wow. Beautiful & easy, Love it..
Awesome and unique cord😊thank you for sharing!
Very fascinating to see how she does it ❤
Buongiorno ! incantevole!🤗👏💞😘
Absolutely brilliant thank you so much !
Bellissimo mi piace 👍 semplice lavoro 😊
But how do you end it so it’s straight across and not slanted?
Maybe try with a different kind of yarn, it worked for me
@@mushu6366 I’m hoping to see the ends into the top , sinsidd my mibile pouch?! Or maybe go right atound the sides & bottom of the pouch so it joins the ends diagonally to each other…. Hope that’s a good idea to make the pouch have stronger support! Hope my idea is not tooo late!!?!
Oops …See = sew or darn together!
That's what i am sick of the short cut video or not full instruction... Yes, its slanted big time! I was not happy about it. I feel like this is misleading video. So, I am with you!
Sorry re letter misshits! I used the braid to go all around the mobile pouch so the diagonsl edges joined invisibly! It’s meant to be a diagonal stitch -is strong in cotton yarn too. All it is is a mini Tunisian stitch (double rows) where you increase beginning of forward row & decrease at end of the fwd row. The Return Pass (2nd row of the 2 Tunisian rows considered as 1 Tunisian row) is returning 2 stitches all the way back to leave 1 loop on the hook, etc. ! I had to have a go trying to explain! 😊
That's nice, I like it! Thx 4 sharing.
Maravilhoso. Obrigada por compartilhar. ❤❤❤
Hola, me encantan todas tus labores ❤gracias por compartir tus conocimientos desde Chile un abrazo ❤🥀🌹🇻🇪🙏🏾
I like this stitch but how can it be attached to a bag when its ends on a slant. That should have been explained since its shown to be a bag strap.
I guess making the sides straight?🤔 by aligning it vertically🤔
Do a sl stitch in the first stitch. Then a single stitch in next stitch...(work your way up to bigger St in that same row to make it flat)....then a half double crochet.. then a double crochet... and so on...
I love this!
This is really cool and much easier than I thought 😍😍😍thank you so much “🥰
This was very therapeutic to watch
Grazie mille molto utile;🤗👏😘
Thank you!!! 🥰 looks vert nice AND strong!!! 🧶🧶🧶
You're welcome and thanks much🥰🥰
Looks so nice! But how do you make the ends straight so you can attach to handbag? Could you please show a video how to attach?
Tunisian strap . Very nice.
Thank you so much, Angela 🥰
Obrigada ❤!
Muchas gracias!! Desde Argentina

👏 Super bien expliqué ! Pour une fois que je comprends bien. Merci, merci pour tes explications. Tu as une nouvelle abonnée 😉 Bonne journée à toi 🌷
How do I do the last round? Like finishing it? I want all stitches be the same height you know?
It's supposed to be like that, the edge of that is the one you're going to stich inside the bag
So EASY
very beautiful 💗🍒.
Thank you☺
❤❤❤❤❤
Molto facile, bravissima ed è anche bello, fa un bell ’ effetto
Thank you😊
Merci
Very pretty and easy. Mine somehow developed a twist as I worked, which I fear will not press out. Ideas?
Very nice
Thanks a lot, Olivia ☺
Can you please put a video on how to make crochet hook purse
Prachtig
I like this too! ❤
Should the # of chains be odd always in making the handles?
i think the amount of chains doesnt matter at all. I'm doing this with 10 chains and it works out pretty well :)
i love this pattern but it starts spiralling and won't sit straight. Can you please advise me?
I think you could put water on it and then pin it to a board or something to stretch it out a bit
You might be holding the yarn too tight, keep it loose enough that it just glides across your finger as you work
What yarn and what crochet hook are you using
Hola buenas noches desde España como se cierra
What kind of yarn are you using
What type of yarn did you use?
No se entiende, me gustaría como hacerlo para q me quede recto,
Ho fatto una cintura. Ma tende ad arrotolarsi. Comunque stirata viene molto bene.
I made this yesterday, very easy to crochet, thank you. But it started to spiral after a while. Why is that?
Mine started to spiral right away. So I couldn’t continue because it wouldn’t work for my little purse I made. Unfortunate because it’s very lovely looking strap
This is Tunisian crochet and Tunisian has a tendency to curl. Given that it's also somewhat of a diagonal pattern, it will curl into a spiral. The yarn you use and the tension you crochet with can also make the curl more pronounced. Lighter yarn = more curl. Tighter stitches = tighter curl. Blocking the strap will help it uncurl and lay flat.
You can always try blocking it!
@@BailsCrochetCreations what do you mean by blocking it? genuinely asking
@@user-ck1zi8qf4i you tack it to a piece of foam or cardboard with pins and spray it lightly with water. Let is set for a day or so to dry
Hi.. I don't know why, but my strap curls.. Is there anyway I can fix this? I used polyester yarn, 8 base chain..
Same as mine it keeps twisting
@@clarissas.ramirez2621 i end up making another stitch instead, coz i can't fix the curl with this stitch..
Where did you buy the yarn?
Thank you very much.
in my country
JUST FYI - the strap stretches and it's twisted even though I've sewn it to my bag ...
Hi i made this its pretty❤ but its starting to spiral, why?
You might have too tight of a grip on the yarn, try loosening it to where it just glides across your finger
how do you add this handle to a bag?
You can simply sew it onto the sides of your bag
What kind of courting or yarn is that?
It's a soft cotton rope
This is nice, how do you keep it from curling up?
Mine curls too.. Can you please inform here, if you find out how to fix this..
@@nurhayatijohan918 I just decided to make them anyway. Edited to update- these twist too much. Be warned
@@misselanys1219 Ok. Thanks.. 👍😊
@@nurhayatijohan918I thoughtnI would update you on these handles. When attached to the bag they are still curling up like crazy. I think they look awful and cant get them to stop twisting. Unfortunately I had already sewn them to the purse and now cannot unattach them. I WOULD NOT recommend making these handles. Sorry for the confusion, I had hoped that they would work but they dont.
@@misselanys1219 thanks for the update. I finally decided to make another similar one, and it doesn't curl. However it will not create the slanting effect. But I'm still satisfied of how it turned out to be.. Hope you find way to fix your project..
What Yarn is this
Soft cotton rope
Mine is curling up😢! How do we avoid that???
When u finish the strap make small straight stitches using the same yarn and an ordinary needle along the long edges of the strap, someone gave me the idea I tried it and it worked !
Please, how can I finish it??😢
Chain 1 and cut the string and tie it closed :)
Totally lost me at 42 seconds.
Why didn't you show how to square off the end and finish it off?? 👎
How are you doing this magic, I'm doing this while I watch the video and I keep ending up with less and less chains, I started with 8, then had 7, now I'm on 6.nbut there's no other diagonal. How am I doing this so wrong when it's so simple, 😭😭😭🫠🫠🫠
What type of yarn did you use ?
