I kinda like this eeveelution system to be honest the reason is eevee it should be an evolution stone according in the pokemon ruby or sapphire pokedex entry (EEVEE has an unstable genetic makeup that suddenly mutates due to the environment in which it lives. Radiation from various STONES causes this POKéMON to evolve.) the only pokemon need to be in evolution stone like espeon the sun stone or dawn stone and umbreon moon stone or dusk stone and lastly sylveon should be the shiny stone.
There is also a way to get stones thats simple. When you get high enough level, in the Wild Area theres a "circle" of rocks with a den in the middle. Eeveeloutions appear there, but behind the rocks in the circle have evo rocks behind them. And I believe the stones pop back up, given time.

I feel like it makes more sense to use items for all 8 evolutions. Beats having to look for a mossy rock or trying to keep your Eevee unhappy so he doesn't accidently evolve into something you don't want.
True tho using an everstone (if umbreon/espeon not wanted) or not letting eevee learn a fairy type move (if sylveon not wanted) is better than making it unhappy nowadays bc higher friendship/affection (since it's mixed in SwSh) means better performance in battles. It's a p decent buff too imo.
Please get your facts straight. The Gigantamax Eevee and Pikachu do NOT come from the kids in onesies. They are obtained much earlier upon first arriving in the Wild Area Station where a couple there will give each respectively.
You also cannot evolve the Gigantamax Eevee from W.A.S. I have been trying and trying to get mine evolved into a Sylveon, but it won't. It'll also say "Incompatible" with all of the evolution stones. Just evolved my GM Eevee to L45 after playing with it until it had 4 hearts above it's head (more than the 2 he said was required). Still no Sylveon.

Eevee is the evolution Pokémon it should show off different evolution types. Thats the boring option for the evo method. I'm considering that a bug or a mistake until the fix it.
Having Glaceon make use of the Ice Stone was a great move. I think the reason Alola didn’t do that was to focus more on the Alolan forms, but the traditional Icy Rock seemed odd with the Ice Stone being added.
I could really go for a flying Eevee. I've always wanted to run a complete Eevee team, but it's impossible without flying, or rock for that matter, since the other eeveelutions can learn other type moves, except for those 2. Well, dragon too, but eh.
Monkey Chief I’d recommend using a Pokemon like one or two levels under it, do a move that isn’t super effective nor not very effective, and make sure it has under 100 power, then when it’s at orange health, hit it with a not very effective move with under 80 power. Or Enter the battle with the Pokemon with the highest health on your team or use something that is a type advantage and make sure it also has a not very effective move. Enter the battle and instantly use a quick ball. If that fails, do a move with little power and not a type advantage to damage it a little and use a normal pokeball (it always works either way for me) if not you could let it damage you for at least 5 turns then do a timer ball. If that fails then use an ultra ball when you get it to red HP. Normal pokeballs are the best for me

It's probably because it has the Gigantamax factor. Pikachu, Eevee, and Meowth are the only non fully evolved Pokémon to have a Gigantamax form. They can't evolve if they have the Gigantamax factor.

So I've noticed that every second time you play Pokemon, an Eevee will spawn in Route 4. The first time I played I had Eevees, but the second time (cause different account) none spawned. Also lol I never gave affection to my Eevee, I just made sure it knew Baby-Doll Eyes and it evolved into Sylveon.
Dude, have you even payed attention? Those kids in the eevee and pikachu suits are just trainers. At the wild area station, there are two kids that ask if you and pikachu/eevee have had a… then if you did, they will give you a special eevee or pikachu, if not they will say nevermind

You can catch all Eevee's evolutions in the Giant's Cap in the wild area near Hammerlocke. But you need that water bike. If someone wants one of them I can trade. Except Jolteon. I'm keeping it.

You can get all the Evee stones at the Gigantemax Charizard den. They're all behind the pillars surrounding the den, and they do respawn from time to time.
Btw, you can also go to this part in the lake of outrage and you will see these rocks circled around a den. There could be some evolution stones there too. That’s how I got the stones to evolve my eevees.

So apparently I manage to evolve my Eevee to a Sylveon is still learn a fairy move, but I guess just interacting with other camps and/or traveling around and build friendship helps. if you want to evolve eevee its the best do it as fast as you can in my opinion ;) In that way pokemon can learn skill of you chosen form as fast as it is possible.
When I first played pokemon, fire red when I was 6, I didn't now how to evolve pikachu(not trying to brag but it was shiny) but when I got a thunder stone I saw it said i could use it on pikachu so I did and it evolved so later on I got a water stone and it said I could use it on my poliwirl so then 6 year old me thought that you could evolve any pokemon if their type matched the stone type. it didn't. Yeah no new eeveelutions is #1 my bad list for this game expectly since they teased us with the possibility of it in the camp trailer. I didn't mind them showing Eevee dynamaxing what I minded was having a camp full of eeveelutions hinting at a new eeveelution. They could of put more returning Pokemon in the camp or heck highlight some aclreamie forms. It was just so strange seeing a full line get attention without something new like they didn't even show crabby and he got a gigantamax form and lapars too.
Every time I evolve Eevee without using a stone, it always evolves into Espeon and I didn't do the steps in order to get that. It even happened at night.
If you start your Eevee as an egg and keep her in your party and keep leveling her up, you don't need to worry about the friendship or affection level. I just noticed that in my playthrough..

The stones only work on Eevees captured in the wild not the Eevee given by the person at the train station.

So I've noticed that every second time you play Pokemon, an Eevee will spawn in Route 4. The first time I played I had Eevees, but the second time (cause different account) none spawned. Also lol I never gave affection to my Eevee, I just made sure it knew Baby-Doll Eyes and it evolved into Sylveon.
I bought Pokémon Shield Version a month ago and got all 7 Eevee Evolutions last night! I have never bothered to do it before so I feel pretty good lol

Dude, have you even payed attention? Those kids in the eevee and pikachu suits are just trainers. At the wild area station, there are two kids that ask if you and pikachu/eevee have had a… then if you did, they will give you a special eevee or pikachu, if not they will say nevermind

Ahh Tysm I had a lot of trouble choosing if I wanted sword or shield I went with shield it’s coming in 2 days and I’m super excited! Tysm vaporeon and sylveon are my fav ^w^
You can catch all Eevee's evolutions in the Giant's Cap in the wild area near Hammerlocke. But you need that water bike. If someone wants one of them I can trade. Except Jolteon. I'm keeping it.

That mean you had a fairy type move on the eevee when you evolve it

The same happened to me. Totally forgot that it evolves through friendship and a fairy move ... Now I am leveling up another Eevee for a Leafeon.

You can get all the Evee stones at the Gigantemax Charizard den. They're all behind the pillars surrounding the den, and they do respawn from time to time.
Now we just need Sun and Moon Stone for Espeon and Umbreon. :))))
Btw, you can also go to this part in the lake of outrage and you will see these rocks circled around a den. There could be some evolution stones there too. That’s how I got the stones to evolve my eevees.

I got a female eevee first try. But I have shield so it was 5% encounter rate instead of 1%

i had all of the eeeveelutions except espeon (which is my favorite) and i was so close to getting it, max friendship and leveled up during the day, but BUT, it evolved into a fricking sylveon. cause it knew baby doll eyes. UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRR im so mad, i gotta hatch this egg now and pray that it's female so i can go through the process AGAIN >:l

So apparently I manage to evolve my Eevee to a Sylveon is still learn a fairy move, but I guess just interacting with other camps and/or traveling around and build friendship helps. I never bought over my camp up for the "Dex completion" Mons.
But I am shocked that it took this long to use a Ice and Leaf stone on a Eevee... I never like the Ice or Moss Rock gimmicks.

Does anyone have any recommendations at what level you should evolve Eevee? I heard at level 15 is when they learn their first elemental attack. If they have evolved by then
if you want to evolve eevee its the best do it as fast as you can in my opinion ;) In that way pokemon can learn skill of you chosen form as fast as it is possible.

I evolved both a Jolteon and Flareon as soon as hatched from eggs and both learned Thunder Shock and Ember respectively.
To be honest I wait until they’re Level 45 so that I could get all of the moves that they can only learn as Eevee before evolving them.

When I first played pokemon, fire red when I was 6, I didn't now how to evolve pikachu(not trying to brag but it was shiny) but when I got a thunder stone I saw it said i could use it on pikachu so I did and it evolved so later on I got a water stone and it said I could use it on my poliwirl so then 6 year old me thought that you could evolve any pokemon if their type matched the stone type. it didn't. Do you now which pokemon taught me that? f***ing magikarp

Yeah no new eeveelutions is #1 my bad list for this game expectly since they teased us with the possibility of it in the camp trailer. I didn't mind them showing Eevee dynamaxing what I minded was having a camp full of eeveelutions hinting at a new eeveelution. They could of put more returning Pokemon in the camp or heck highlight some aclreamie forms. It was just so strange seeing a full line get attention without something new like they didn't even show crabby and he got a gigantamax form and lapars too.

Every time I evolve Eevee without using a stone, it always evolves into Espeon and I didn't do the steps in order to get that. It even happened at night.

I spent hours in those fields looking for an eevee. And by hours I mean that I levelled my Pokemon on level 1 up to level 30.... finally got one tho.

If you start your Eevee as an egg and keep her in your party and keep leveling her up, you don't need to worry about the friendship or affection level. I just noticed that in my playthrough..

Sometimes I find the Eeveelutions on around the Lake of Outrage area just walking about.
My eevee has two hearts and i gave it a candy to level 30 and it knows a fairy move but it still didn’t work:/
You have to Max out to five hearts. Just spam the wand toy and feed it curry a couple times.
