Joe Pesci always delivers, but this is far and away my favourite of his roles. Leo is a perfect blend of annoying and cute - like a Jack Russel terrier :D

You're Danny Glover old knees jokes is instant classic. It got so funny, as soon as Danny flashed on screen running in any capacity, we were already rolling. You do more with a look than other reactors can with pages of material. Thank you, good sir.
This whole franchise is just so damn fun, and this is one of my favorite sequels. Charm, humor, high stakes and balls to the wall action is what you get with each one and they all leave you with a big dumb smile on your face.
The "OK, Ok, Ok" cracks me up because it reminds me of Matt Serra(former ufc champ). He'd do this similar thing were hed say "listen, listen listen, are you listening? Ok, listen, listen, listen. Ok listen." For like 2mns then finaly finish with "broooo, im out of my mind!" As the payoff. Such a charecter.
Joe Pesci is just a fantastic actor. The contrast between his character here and his role in Goodfellas could not be more extreme, and yet he played both roles to perfection.
The movie _The Super_ is in no way as good as those other movies but it's still seriously underrated. Great "comfort food" kind of film. I feel the same way about the movie _Jimmy Hollywood_ too. I remember going into that movie feeling kinda down that day and coming out feeling totally cheered up!
@@viviandarkbloom100Imagine if there's another Tom Holland Spider-Man movie and Peter has a flashback thinking about Uncle Ben and it's Joe Pesci playing him.

I loved their reactions while I was subbed (and I still like them overall) but lost my patience with this sequel thing (+adam sandler's movies reactions spam)
Poor Danny Glover and his knees...someone once suggested that these movies, some of the biggest movies of the late 1980s, actually hurt Glover's career in the end because he was playing so much older than he actually was (he was 42 when they shot this one, playing 52-year-old Murtaugh) that the perception was that he really was Murtaugh old. I think he probably took PREDATOR 2 without even reading the script, just because it was a chance to play an action lead whose knees weren't old and fucked for once.
"He's the furthest thing from Nikki" Leo Getz is one of Pesci's best characters. The annoying tag-along you didn't know you needed and can't ever get(z) rid of 😅

“Danny Glover got them Detroit Knees!” had me choking! Lmao. That needs to be a T-shirt. This reaction was amazing! Keep up the amazing content. You’re a true legend.
the entire lethal weapon series is incredible! the addition of joe pesci only adds to the chemistry making everything better. i hope you continue with parts 3 and 4 soon!
If you want to see Danny Glover from a different perspective then, if you haven't already, you need to watch the movie Shooter with Mark Wahlberg, Ned Beatty, Elias Koteas.
Hey J! Just came across your channel last week and have gone through several of your reactions. Haven't been let down once! A very unique tone that sets you apart from other reactors I've seen. Thanks for the content, keep it up.
"Diplomatic immunity." "IT'S JUST BEEN REVOKED!" This is, in my opinion, the best of the franchise. When people think or parody Lethal Weapon, they're are really thinking or parodying this movie and not the first one. Fun Fact: The body count is thirty-three, the highest of the Lethal Weapon franchise. What Script Fact: Jack McGee ad-libbed his line about the condom commercial during rehearsals. The cast and crew liked it so much, it was kept in the film. Historical Fact: Despite the film's "Free South Africa" stance, it was passed uncut by the South African censors and became a major financial success in that country. This wasn't much of a surprise, since apartheid was already on the outs anyway and ended on June 17, 1991. That's Hot Fact: Patsy Kensit claimed the sex scene was great but also kind of disappointing. While she had to strip for the scene, Mel Gibson was allowed to keep some things to himself. She confessed: "When we did a love scene, I was buck-naked, but he had his modesty pouch thing. So I didn't see it, and I didn't look. But he was a great kisser."
"Crazy don't die!" says Jay. Actually, the original ending of this film had Riggs dying but the filmmakers got smart and decided they wanted to have at least 2 (maybe 3) more sequel films. The pull away shot at the end orginally had "Knocking on Heaven's Door" playing over it.
This video was the lightest part of my day and I needed the relief. I'm worried sick for my friend. She had a domestic abuse situation but finally got away from him but is suffering from suicidal thoughts right now. I sat at the hospital today helping her out and sitting with her. If any of you family members can please send her prayers, love, and good energy I would greatly appreciate it. She needs as much goodwill as we can generate. Thank you.
@blytheguy7510 Absolutely. Sending up a sincere prayer for God to heal her heart & keep her safe.🙏 And blessings to you too, for being a wonderful friend. Much love from Kentucky. 💙🌿💙🌿💙🌿💙🌿💙🌿💙
JL, I watched your video at 4 o'clock in the morning with a 100 degree temperature, body aches and no ability to get back to sleep and laughed my ass off. Regarding his readiness to be an action star in _Predator 2_ , I remember Danny Glover claiming he could run the 100 meters faster than Arnold, so he's been on the defensive about this for a while. The extraordinary thing about the _Lethal Weapon_ series is the music. Eric Clapton and David Sanborn are just cooking. This pairing works considering Mel Gibson's character is bipolar. Sanborn provides the manic soundtrack in Riggs' head and Clapton represents the depressive side, quite often fighting each other like an angel and a devil in the same moment.
This whole franchise is a joy! Each specially fun in their own way but this one may be the strongest. I love how your reactions golden to Danny’s Glover’s knees 😂 Can’t wait to view Slasher Saturday
If anyone has seen "Equalizer" , th construction guy that shotmof th air naier and scared Riggs was the man that got brutally beaten at the Concrete plant when he gave grief to the villan and then he beat him until he wasnt moving
I love the entire series. But there's a special place in my heart for part 2. "You're not dead until I tell you!" I'm sorry your copilot tooted during that scene.
My opinion, the first Lethal Weapon is special because it was the first one and started it all. But as all four movies ratings, I love them all equally. All four movies are great. So don't stop here. You still have two more great L.W. movies to enjoy.
EOM Your Reactions are Fantastic and Everybody Needs to See The Lethal Weapon Franchise Definitely one of my Favorite Movie Franchises . Danny Glover s Old Man Knees 😂😂😂😂
I haven't seen this movie in years. I remember the last Lethal Weapon more, the one with Chris Rock. Danny Glover was 43 in this movie., Mel was about 33.
Glad you loved this film, J. This was always my favorite of the franchise. And the inclusion of Joe Pesci's Leo was perfect. To paraphrase director Dick Donner, with Leo/Joe Pesci the team had finally found their third stooge, and everything felt complete.
Great Reaction...... The whole Franchise is Great...... Jenette Goldstien, I like calling her the "sequel queen" has roles in various sequels, Here she is the cop that gets blown up on a diving board, She plays John's Foster Mom in "Terminator 2", She plays Vasquez in "Aliens"..... She rarely appears physically the same in movies. She was also in "Titanic" as an Irish lady with 2 kids in Hallway/Elevator, She was in the Beginning of "The Presido"
There is a move 8 years after this was made that Danny Glover was into parcore and rock climbing, i can't think of the name but george lopez plays loki in a postal worker position
I mentioned this in other reactions, but Imma say it here too: the toilet scene would have worked BETTER IRL than it did in the movie. Mythbusters did a test of soaking the battery in liquid nitrogen, and the battery was frozen to where it took many minutes before the C4 exploded. They could have walked out of the bathroom. And taking cover in the castiron tub would protect them form the blast. Severe hearing damage, but they would have survived.
Danny Glover was already talking about he’s “too old for this s*it” in the last Lethal Weapon. I guess him and his old ass knees got over that in time for another big paycheck.
I know people love this one but the next two are my favourites, brilliant movies and I'm pretty sure Danny Glover's ears were on fire during this reaction.....not to mention his knees 😂
This lethal weapon is my favorite but my hubby loves lethal weapon 3 the most. Says first one has the action, 2nd the dialogue, the 3rd both and after watching 3 I agree and hope you watch that one soon . So good!
Hey JL, great reaction, man. You're funny as Hell. BTW, I have some trivia for you that you might find interesting ...
