Just bought some Bandito Bugs from Bass Pro. Kinda tired of texas rigging swim tail worms. They work like a charm but I have to spice it up a bit. This is my first Googan bait so hopefully it works.

Used everything in my tackle box today as the fish we're exploding but nothing worked until I through a bandito bug. I got 4 bass in less than an hour. I love this bait. I used in weightless in lilly pads and grass.

I've been throwing the bandito big and Mondo Worm weightless (fishing shallow ponds) and they work great

Im also using the eagle claw "lazor sharp" but I foind the size 3 wide gap hook lands me more fish than the round bend. I kept losing them with the round bend. QUESTION: how do you fish the bandito bug? Do you lift it and let it fall or just keep your rod tip down and pop it while reeling. Or some other way?
C Lew for the Bandito Bug I slowly lift it up to drag it up and drop it so it travels short distances. Almost like a slow motion pop. Both of those methods would work. Just want the fish to notice it moving along on the bottom

how do you put on bobber stoppers
Put the line through the metal loop above the stopper, pull the bobber stop over the line

Kenneth Chaquea the weights you can find at any bass tackle shop. Just use a 1/4 oz or 1/8. Just something to be it to the bottom
Throw that eagle claw away and get you some owner hooks!
I love owner hooks I use them for salt water mostly

Dolan Hockey you don’t need one, just put the weight on like I did and cast it out. The bobber stop is just a plus!

You can rig it both sides, specially if the bass rips the first side open to much

You can use that but it may grab more weeds if there is a lot of it
I fish alot of brush hogs with wide gap 3/O hooks and was gonna try something different

I haven’t tried that, it depends how dense it is. If you want to run it across Lilly pads you could for reaction strikes. As long as the waters not super deep you are fishing I would imagine it seeking at an okay rate

If you wanted to drag it over Lilly pads or something but not for it to be getting to the bottom. I personally wouldn’t
FatBelly Fishing yeah I took it to my pond yesterday and fished it weightless, it was trash without a bullet/tungsten weight, not enough weight so it had no action but still managed to catch 4 fish my smallest being 2.15 oz
