- This is a full resort tour of Disney’s Riviera Resort. Riviera Resort is the newest resort at Walt Disney World, and is a part of Disney Vacation Club. It is located near Hollywood Studios and Epcot, and has access to the Disney Skyliner for transportation to those 2 parks. The resort was inspired by Walt Disney's travels in Europe, and draws its inspiration from the hotels there.

Our home resort and this video made me miss it. So much time spent at the quiet pool last September during our week there. Just looking out at the lake and Skyliner is the most relaxing thing in the world! Cant wait to go back

So, I like this resort. This is a nice weekend getaway resort. I wouldn't stay here for a whole week or so. Nice anniversary celebration resort ya know. Ride the skyliner right over to Epcot. I can dig it.

Loved the video. We met you that weekend by the elevators at the East Wing!! We did order the Remy art from the kiosk at La Boutique !! and also enjoyed Topolinos for dinner and the quick service restaurant! We love the Riveria our home resort!!!!

Thanks so much for the awesome resort tour! Those soft drink dispensers at the quick service restaurant...do you know if Riviera is the only resort with that kind or do other resorts have those now?
The Riviera resort tour was exceptional. Probably the best review by any one on U tube. Can you possibly do a review of the Grand Floridian. That's where we will be staying when we hopefully go on our vacation in 2022.

great video overview of the resort (as always!!!). You mentioned that the eventi room is temporarily the community hall. Why only temporarily. Is it supposed to be somewhere else?
Riviera doesn’t normally have a community hall (we don’t know why). So this is the temporary placement until things are more normal.
Okay, I know you posted this to inform us but I think you recorded it on the same day we were there touring the DVC rooms (Valentine’s day or the day after?) so now I’m not paying attention to you at all and only looking for me and my husband in the background. 🤣🤣

Awesome video guys. Planning a trip back to WDW after a long while....considering this hotel. I was thinking how great quality of video this was and was wondering was equipment you were using and then saw in a reflection that youre using an iPhone. I take video at the max 4k at 60fps, but I tend to get problems with the quality when I try to take them off of iCloud (I use up a lot of storage space on the phone if I use the "keep originals" setting. Do you keep this videos as originals on your phone, or do you back them up on iCloud and do you have quality issues if you do that?
We do use an iPhone for almost all our filming. We have it back up to iCloud, and even though we normally import to the computer before it's offloaded from our phones, we have had to download from iCloud at times. We've not had any issues with quality coming from iCloud and everything comes back in its full resolution. Maybe the problem is in the way that you're transferring them to your computer? We usually use airdrop or a direct import into Final Cut Pro X.
Can y’all do a tour of AKL Jambo and Kidani next?
We have those rooms booked for a tour at the end of the month, so the tours will probably be released middle of April 😊

So if you are a DVC member you can only use points that you bought direct from Disney not resale points to stay here, is that correct? It is really nice looking!!😍
There's a complicated answer to that. If you purchased a resale contract before January 19, 2019, then the points can be used at Riviera just like direct points. If they were purchased after that date, they can only be used at the "original 14" resorts, which doesn't include Riviera.
if you are hoping to rope drop at Hollywood Studios would you recommend taking an uber to the park rather than the skyliner?
Yes we would. You never know how long the line will be for the Skyliner, so you could walk right on or you could wait 10-15 minutes. Plus the line for temperature screening from the Skyliner is always really long in the morning at the park.
I`m confused where is Disney world with Space mountain ect?
Magic Kingdom is a couple miles away. Wow $33 a day for valet parking...highway robbery.
Valet parking is a completely optional service. Self-parking is $25/day, and some people choose to pay the $8 premium for valet service.
Pools suck, limited seating poor use of space.
As much as I love everything about the resort, you're absolutely right. It seems as though the pools were only an after thought.
