The Wall-E paintings aren’t so much about Wall-E fitting a European theme but the painting style mimicking Vincent Van Gogh’s style of painting. All of the artwork in the RR rooms appears to take French art styles and reimagine it with Disney IP.
All of the artwork is fashioned after European artists. I saw several styles that represented different periods throughout Picasso's career, van Gogh, Cezanne, and more. SO cool! This was a great video. Thanks!
For people asking about price, it varies throughout the year, but you will ALWAYS be able to get 2 of the 2 bedroom suites with a preferred view and some DVC points left over for the price of the 3 bedroom suite. You are honestly paying for the large living space and the giant master bedroom/bathroom.
About the Wall-E pictures in the second bedroom, I was curious so I went to Google. It turns out that Pixar studied Chernobyl and the city of Sofia, Bulgaria to help them create the trashed and destroyed world in the movie. So even though the movie may not have taken place in Europe, it has European roots in a sense. Lol.
They’re both amazing, so it would come down to location. BLT is within walking distance of MK which is amazing and super convenient, but Riviera is close to 2 parks. If you plan to do MK more than once, I’d do BLT, but if not, I’d stay at Riviera for the convenience of getting to 2 parks easily.
Would be NICE to see , Art work , from the artist , doing ' lady and the tramp'......and ' Fox and the hound ', they where my First books I read , and saw films , of Disney, when i was a Kid , 2020 year looking forward to see the LIVE version of ....Lady and the Tramp
Random question. Do the rooms in this resort have a smell? I was planning to bring a diffuser along so when we go back home that same diffuser would remind us of the holiday. But I don’t want to do that if the rooms already have a strong smell. I’ve heard people say the hotel has a smell but not sure if that means just reception or the rooms as well.
Honestly, I couldn't care less about being on a lake - it doesn't appeal to me at all, not even slightly. But I would be THRILLED to be staying that close to the Skyliner station. :-0 Seriously, I am fascinated with sky rides, and that would really make for a nice vacation. :-)
I am going to join the DVC but there’s no way I could stay there since the lowest amount of points is 755 for a week (that’s in September when I am still in school) and the time I normally go is 995 for a week
Actually the lowest points at Riviera is Jan, 667 for the week. I put the FULL WEEK of Xmas Sun-Sat and it worked out to 952, so not sure what you're talking about. Same week is only 458 points on OKW, so maybe that's the contract you get.

That’s amazing! Thank you for telling us! Love details like this 💕
The painting is in the style of the Dutch masters (ie it replicates Vincent Van Gogh’s starry night style), that’s the European reference
Maybe Stitch?
Maybe! They had told us the art is all inspired by the European based Disney stories, but I suppose Wall-E isn't either...
Given the choice which would you recommend, Bay Lake Tower or Riviera?

The lobby does have a smell, but the rooms just smell like cleaner 😊

The blotted picture in the bedroom could be stitch inspired
Oh wow! That’s really cool!
Can you estimate the cost per night at the Riviera Resort 3 bedroom villa???????????
This site lists all the room rack rates for Disney resorts. www.mousesavers.com/2021-riviera-room-rates-season-dates/
