I love how when they showed what the characters were up to now. Daisey was singing on her own and Warren was playing the drums for her...Was a touching scene
That actually did play out in real life with Fleetwood Mac. Christine actually played and sang on a couple of Lindsey Buckingham's solo albums as did Mick Fleetwood and John McVie (although there is a story that there was quite a bit of animosity in the Law and Order sessions that he was only able to track about maybe 16 bars worth of drums on Trouble so he just made a tape loop of the drums and flew them back into the master multitrack and did the cheeky "two a three a fower" intro with Mick Fleetwood's drums looped onto a stem on the tape and basically marked the song phrases with a soft mallet cymbal swell).
Absolutely. He was the only one who seemed to be happy with the rock star life. And you could just see the wind coming out of his sails when Eddie got in the cab at the end. Nevertheless, he still found a way to make it as a musician, and still had an enviable life with an actress wife, twin girls, and a big-a$$ boat!!!!!!
I’m still standing for you guys. You brought so much life to these characters and the team did a great job of making feel so in the moment with you guys. I really am blown away by the mirror before me
Sam is really a good actor because every time I see him in a different role I don't "recognize" him, I don't see Sam, I see the character, as it should be✨
If Warren had his way, the band would still be playing together in the 2020’s. So glad that he still was able to get a good chunk of “the quan” in the end.
If they do Season 2, they should do the first episode as a Classic Albums episode covering Aurora. Like have Tobias breaking down the mix with the master tape on the deck and isolating different parts of the song and saying "oh I remember how we did this"
Watched the show with my mom. She asked me who my favorite character was when we finished the show and I said Warren. She said "really??" I said yea he had the best vibe was always just chilling enjoying life living in the moment
Just like Fleetwood Mac. John, Mick and Christine were/are all British. Only Lindsey and Stevie were from LA. Karen in the book was originally American, but I think as a nod to Christine (RIP) they cast Suki. In the book, everyone thought Karen was having an affair with the lighting director "Bones" which was a nod to Christine dating Fleetwood Mac's lighting director (You Make Lovin' Fun was about that relationship) but was never referenced in the show.
There is another book?? Name please. Is there going to be an album out. 🙏 please. I read this book 3 times in 2 wks. It's on my nook so I don't lose it. Can carry it everytime I want to read it. Also can't loan it out. Make my friends buy their own. 😆 🤣 😂 putting money in your pockets.
Suki definitely channels Christine. If you look at Christine McVie's previous interviews, especially from Classic Albums episode covering Rumours, the mannerisms are very similar and I think she would agree. There is also a dash of Amy Millan from Stars/Broken Social Scene in her character and I recently learned she and three other members of Broken Social Scene were creative consultants in the writer's room.
@@soulserenade.kcn1992I actually met Amy a few times, and everyone in Stars at their Patreon afterparties. They are the nicest people I've ever met in showbiz and I can say that because I was a live audio guy for 15+ years and seen some things.
The show would have been so much better if they had hired a different songwriting team. I mean they had 4 members of Broken Social Scene including Amy Millan from Stars as creative consultants on the show as well as Kim Gordon and Jackson Browne, they could have upped the ante and just hired them to write all the songs the way Rheostatics wrote all the songs for Whale Music and Adam Schlesinger from Fountains of Wayne wrote most of the songs in That Thing You Do. Torquil Campbell also has a project where he will write you a song royalty free for $1000 and I think the songs would have been soooo much better if Brendan Canning, Andrew Whiteman, Ariel Engle, Amy Millan and Torquil Campbell had teamed up to do all the songwriting for "The Six". If I was the music supervisor on that show, that's what I would have done. It's would have been like getting Adam Schlesinger in to write "That Thing You Do" - Tom Hanks made a good call there. To this day, I still think the most accurate depiction of being in a band is "This Is Spinal Tap" (bot it goes up to eleven!)
Warren is the most easy going and has like zero stress!Gonna miss this show, big time!
Yes! Yes! Yes!!
I love Warren he just wanted to vibe and play music. So unproblematic
Didn't he catcall every woman he encountered before he met Daisy?
I love the ending they gave his character and that he continued playing with Daisy as a session drummer. Godd, I want them back!
@@sarawillinger And you know he found a keeper when one of them upped the ante. They're married with kids so case in point.
I laughed when he said nobody asks him to sign their tits anymore and then he said just his wife asks from time to time, just to be nice lol 😂
Warren was my favourite in both the books and the show, he always lived life in the moment and had no problems
I love how when they showed what the characters were up to now. Daisey was singing on her own and Warren was playing the drums for her...Was a touching scene

Yes I LOVED that. I knew she loved him he was the least negative man on that band ❤
No a single boring episode this show is a masterpiece 👏👏
Finally Sam Claflin getting proper recognition for his work!
Warren by FAR the least toxic and most unproblematic bean of the bunch. Such a lovable person. Glad he had the happiest ending ❤❤
Everyone loves Warren

I just love Sam & Riley in these series . I’m so sad it can’t have another season!❤
I’m so sad and angry that they didn’t end together. They have more chemistry than Camilla and him.
Can I say that I looooove the entire cast? ❤
Loved this so much ❤
I feel like Riley is 50% Daisy and doesn't want to admit it 😂
I’m still standing for you guys. You brought so much life to these characters and the team did a great job of making feel so in the moment with you guys. I really am blown away by the mirror before me
Warren is soooo easy-going character! It's so good to know Sebastian is most like him!
Warren reminds me a lot of Joe Walsh if Joe Walsh was a drummer.
Sam is so adorable what ever he is like. That hair is beautiful
This show, this soundtrack, this book is a masterpiece!!
Sam is really a good actor because every time I see him in a different role I don't "recognize" him, I don't see Sam, I see the character, as it should be✨
This entire cast is so beautiful. Wish they could've done a small tour in real life lol
I loved this show so much!!
Loved this series!!
I feel like Riley is really different from her character too. She comes off so quiet and introverted in interviews.

Wow 🤩! Billy Dunne my dear gorgeous boy ❤.
Yo what a great show
I’m still shocked that I somehow didn’t know that Sam had a British accent. Mind blown
It’s so weird seeing him in character with his british accent 😂
He does everything at the same time, plays, sings, acts and hides the accent very well 🤯🥹🤏🏻❤
You haven’t seen him in anything else?
Is anybody else thrown when you realize half the band is British? 😂

Given Suki's character is English, not really. Was surprised that Sam is though.
I keep forgetting Sam is British
i'm gonna pass out
Sam ❤❤❤❤❤
Need season 2
thought the same bout warren/sebastian
The accent change is unclimatic
❤❤❤❤❤
Billy is so dang sexy!!! I didn’t know Sam was British! What a good actor.
I would like to hear her in a cover song of her grandfather

There is no sequel, but the author's other two books, "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo" and "Malibu Rising," take place in the same universe.
@@kimberlee440 thanks. Have a nice day.

just by the way he speaks sam clearly is very different
Billy just sounds weird with a British accent lol
Didn't watch the show, was creating Warren's character inspired by Mick Fleetwood?
Warren is fine ash
Hello!!!
🫂
Ssssh...Sam is the least like his character? That's the sound of women's hearts breaking.
Nah he's really goofy from what I've seen. I don't like moody men 😂
@@yc0995 I don’t find the character moody. He’s intense. Do you like goofy men?
@@dtc1288 Yeah I like to laugh a lot so I prefer goofy men 😅
