Hugh is magnificent! He is the perfect guest for talk shows, his anecdotes are hilarious and always brilliantly delivered. I could listen to him for hours. Also, he's so fiiiiiiine, the brute is getting better looking by the day.
Of the many years of interviews I’ve seen of Hugh Grant. This is the best one! Obviously having children has mellowed him and he’s not so cranky. Thoroughly enjoyed this interview.
"I draw the line at an all children crew" ... It's great that the world is _finally_ getting to see Hugh's natural comic talent and timing over the last 10 years. He's so much more versatile than just the romantic leading man thing.
@@Czechboundhow is it "finally" if its been over a period of the last 10 years for you people who had lived under a rock? He had always been a naturally funny guy. Then again, I'm in my 40s.
Hugh Grant is one of my favourite actors. Who got better with age and always plays interesting characters. He is almost like a strange combination of lead character actor now.
I think Hugh's wife has had a remarkable effect on him. He used to be quite grumpy and churlish on talk shows, but since he met her, he's become far more easygoing and he really seems to enjoy life a lot more. Good for them!
Grant is a true movie star, a great actor, and an authentic person who doesn't put on an act to make himself look better or different than who he is really is.
@@nonni139 He acknowledged at the time that he did a bad thing, made no excuses, and took responsibility for his actions. So he's not a saint and made a mistake. The same can be said of most people.
I’ve heard he can be cranky and difficult at times, but I’ve really enjoyed watching him in recent roles where he surprised and delighted me with his versatility. He was so good playing a sleaze ball investigator in The Gentlemen. Hilariously sleazy. Worth watching just to watch him do his thing.
This is oddly the first interview of Hugh Grant I've ever seen and I'm now his biggest fan! (already adored him like the rest of the world of course) What a genuine guy! And so funny too!

I love that Hugh Grant broke the mold and took on a role in a horror film! I love the horror films released by A24, and I am looking forward to seeing Heretic.
I was just re-watching "The Gentleman" on Netflix yesterday. Huge Grant was hilarious in that one... I like it when he has some surprising roles versus his old rom-com stuff.
This is a great interview. Hugh is so authentic to his own band/sense of humor. He really has figured out the best way to present himself while doing media, etc.
I always like when we get to the actors' skills in these almost improvised bits (i know they may have rehearsed before, but I like to see the fundamental or baseline acting approaches are demonstrated).
The name Mungo originated as a Scottish term of affection meaning "my pet" or "my dear". Mungo Park was a Scottish explorer of Africa in the late 1700's..
Wizard of Oz was indeed scary- the flying monkeys particularly. As to Margaret Hamilton, check out the video of her on Mr. Rogers. It is so sweet. May help with the Wicked Witch childhood trauma.
I've followed Hugh Grant's career for decades - he gets better with age and I agree this unlocking of his comedic persona is super refreshing. Loved him as the villain in Paddington 2 😂😂
This made my day. Hugh Grant is the only actor that invariably makes me howl with laughter and at the same time melts my heart in a weird way. ;-D His personality and sense of humour are just right up my alley.
Always worth listening to and this was a fun interview. Smart, charming, amusing, and mostly up for the game. Looking forward to seeing Heretic on the big screen. ❤☮🌎
He likes to joke that he married James Bond . . . Spoiler: he makes a cameo as Detective Benoit Blanc's domestic partner in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.
Hugh is such a star. He is so relaxed and cool no matter what is thrown at him.
!
To be fair, not much has ever been thrown at him - the sex worker stuff just slipped off him like a stool off a bed pan.
He sure is...😆

@@Leslie-wb8cb 😂 can't get anything past you!
He has overnight sized bags under his eyes. Gives him lots of character, good looking for his age maybe, but better looking than in his heyday?
Hugh is also horrible to staff and runners

Kimmel did a great interview, and Hugh Grant showed how interesting he is and his FABULOUS ACTING CHOPS! Need to see this new film!
I Love Hugh Grant!!!!...his sense of humor has Always been Fantastic!!!...a big fan for many many yrs!!!
Notting Hill, Two Weeks Notice, Love Actually, Music & Lyrics, About a Boy-LOVE Hugh Grant in all of these and more!
