A WOMAN declared morbidly obese has lost 250lbs and had 10lbs of excess skin removed. Corey Hyland says she can only ever remember being overweight. By the time she was a teenager Corey had been declared morbidly obese by doctors and she stopped looking at the weighing scales. As a result, Corey doesn’t know her heaviest weight, other than it was in the 400lb range. A decade ago, without ever imagining she would be able to transform her body, Corey decided to make changes to her diet to try and lose some weight. Despite dropping some pounds, Corey had setbacks along the way and says the big change only happened a few years ago when she started working out with a personal trainer. And in the last year, she lost the biggest amount of weight: an incredible 100lbs. But with that dramatic weight loss came a large amount of excess skin that left Corey feeling underwhelmed with what her body now looked like. Having excess skin removal surgery was the final reward.

FINALLY a positive model to follow. Congrats on all her hard work to make her life better!
Yasss. That's what I was going to say.. plus you go lady. Healthy is sexy
I remember her from high school, super kind person, just a great soul, so glad you got healthy, ya might inspire me to the same! congratulations!
My started weight was 240 and now I’m at 134. I’ve lost 106 in 9 months and now I’m feeling so much better and healthier. All I did was stop eating fast food and chips and I drink a ton of water and exercise. Now I’m maintaining my weight by eating only one big meal a day and at night I’m eating really lite like fruit.
This is inspiring since I hope to be there one day. My starting weight was 375.6 and current weight is 323. I'm taking it one day at a time but hope that 2020 will be my greatest year of change.
Edit: Thanks for the support! Down to 296lbs! Continuing to lose weight!!

@@janedoe98 Thank you :)
On the same boat here. I’ve been obese for a decade. I’m done with it now. We got this girl!
@@AlbyVel I believe in you!
I'm too in the same boat. I watch these videos to feel motivated and inspired. 💙 Love her positivity and how she says to never give up. Gotta keep on keeping on. I need to lose around 200 pounds.
>>> Don’t go on diets. Change your lifestyle.
Amen! I lost over a hundred pounds changing my lifestyle.
@@freewithnature how did you change your lifestyle?
Lemons19902010 just identify the things that make you fat. If you’re more calories than you can burn, then it’s time to check what you eat.
@@evanovak7761 thank you! Sugar and simple carbs and starches are my weakness
A change of a diet is a diet. Diets are designed to achieve different goals depending on your fat and muscle percentage. So if you want to be healthy you have to add a diet that fits your body and your goal. Is not a temporary thing you have to keep eating differently for the rest of your life. Is not like "ok so I will diet for a while, lose the weight and go back to eat the way I was eating before" it doesn't work that way. You have to change your life style to maintain a healthy weight. Our body is a machine and it requires attention and care.
Congrats to losing all that weight
I saw you everywhere like, my gosh.
Me too
Are you everywhere or is everyone everywhere on the internet?
Now, this is BODYPOSITIVITY!
Yes, but she does not seem as happy and as proud of herself as she could be ...
@@ritahorvath8207 She is just a humble person. Not like the loud, foul mouthed, morbidly obese fat acceptance crowd who just want to push down their massive weight onto to us
@Meringue Lemon nice imagine world.
@@ritahorvath8207 out of her monolog i think it's because she is scared to be fat again. Having phantom fat.
YESSSSS!! SHE IS SO MOTIVATING! YOU GO GIRL!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Very inspiring. Specially when I want to lose 50 pounds but I feel like it's impossible
You can do it.. sending good vibes
Of course it's possible. STOP EATING
Second Opinion you can do this!
Never doubt yourself!
It’s possible when you are ready you will do it
Amazing! I started at 278 lbs, right now I'm at 213lb. Probably have another 50 to 60 pounds to go, but I'm more than half way there. I'm terrified of loose skin but videos like this show me I'm not alone ❤
Did you have any?
That's amazing Amy! I started at 275 and am now at 203, almost to my first big goal! Keep it going! ❤
I wish I could physically handle working out like that... I miss being thin and fit. I hate chronic illness and scoliosis and seizures.
Congrats girl, you look great!
Jodi Stanton i pray that you are healed 🙏🏾
Physical therapy can help you find a safe way to exercise. Insurance usually pays for it. Some medicare plans even pay for a gym and a personal trainer that will work with disability. I use a medicare specialist to help me navigate the perfect plan..
Mao mao the girls I’m chronically ill as well, thank you for the useful advice
I lost 12kgs and did absolutely no exercise by just cutting out sugar and carbs (ketogenic diet)
I was just thinking the same thing.
i have no idea how working out feels like since I had my chronical illness since I was 8 years old.
I am thing, yes, but I look sick.
My body is week because I can‘t eat much.
Her tattoos are beautiful.
250 lbs is an incredible loss! What a badass
She is amazing, she is naturally super beautiful, her face is perfect, when is she is smiling is super beautiful and her tattoos are awesome. I hope you understand how beautiful you are. Walk on the street and feel the bless and gift of having natural beauty, enhanced by your hard work
‘the brand new me’this hopes to be a great new year !! :) And a awesome one for you 👍🏻
The scars are pretty, what they mean to her is inspiring to me.i hope she loves and accepts her body with the scars.i have a scar on my leg that I hated at first but over time it grows on you. Scars are reminders for sure.
4:44 is the same thing I do every morning. I also had a tummy tuck six months ago.
Congrats!
WOOHOO! Congratulations!
.... heard it's quite expensive..
Yunaisi Iceyy thank you 😊
Amanda Burkhart thank you 😊
The first time I lost weight, I lost about 60lb and when I realized I had loose skin (even though it wasn't much) and a lot of stretch marks, I became so depressed and beaten up that I let my self go again and gained it all back. You should be proud of yourself for not letting your loose skin get in the way of your goals.
Lose that weight again and save up some extra money for the skin surgery while you're losing it. After the surgery just get some tattoos to cover the stretch marks. That's my plan👌
Well 60 lb is nothing. With time excess skin can shrink.
I love her tattoos as well!!
Right they are so beautiful
They suit her so well
Her skin wasn't even that bad great job.
Comparable to another no. But considering how much even little things can make a person feel inferior i can these days appreciate how much something like this can have a affect.
Many ladies always ask, "how can I know that a guy loves me?" Many ladies have lost good guys because they cannot identify good guys. Although guys can pretend, but you can identify a fake guy and you can know whether a guy loves you or not in the following ways: 1. A fake guy will demand for sex. A real guy will also demand for sex. But a fake guy will quit the relationship if you refuse to have sex with him, while a real guy will not quit even if you don't give him sex. 2. A fake guy shows love and care. A real guy also shows love and care. But watch out! A fake guy will stop to be caring if you commit any offence, but a real guy never stops being caring no matter your offence. 3. A real guy will not like to leave you no matter the situation. 4. A real guy that truly loves you will always apologise even if it is not his fault. 5. Fake guys pamper ladies. Real guys also pamper ladies too. But if a guy pampers you to the extreme, hmm don't trust him. In most cases, fake guys pampers ladies more than the real guys. 6. When a guy uses too many sweet words all the time, be careful. He may be fake. Real guys that truly love u will use few sweet words. 7. A real guy that truly loves you will be very concerned about your problems. He will always show much concern about the causes and solutions to your problems. But a fake guy only shows more concern about his own problems. 8. A real guy will spend money on you. Fake guy will also spend money on you. But a fake guy will not give you much money unless you have sex with him. No sex, no money. Fake love. 9. A fake guy will promise to marry you. A real guy will also promise to marry you. But a real guy will always discuss with you about how to build a successful marriage. 10. A real guy can kneel down and even shed tears to beg you never to lose him. A fake guy who does not love you will not do that. Think Twice!!!.....
@@benfine2328 As a woman who has unfortunatly gotten to know many...mannnnyyy fake guys I can say without a doubt, that that was 100% spot on!!!! 🎯 Thanks for elaborating the difference between the two types of men that exist. That's exactly the reason I've learned to keep my legs and my heart closed like Fort Knox. Lol. 🔐🔒😂🤣🤷♀️
Fool me once.....(and so on).

@@benfine2328 how much you love a girl shouldn't be defined by how much money you're ready to spend on her :/ most of what you said is true tho
HOW BRAVE YOU ARE.IM SO PROUD OF YOU, KEEP YOUR SMILE ON IT IS AMAZING..
I can relate to her. I got liposuction after I lost 100+ pounds and I remember standing in front of the mirror crying, I was so happy to have a normal shaped body.
This is amazing, I’m in awe of people losing weight through hard work and dedication.
"Operation Ivy," FRICK YEAH! She has great taste in music. I've seen Operation Ivy live!
How can some people say that this is impossible??? Congratulations 😉
Some people think even a couple of kilos is impossible. Ive lost and gained over the years. But the fact some of these people on shows are loosing a 100 or more just blows my mind. Just being able to carry that much extra weight on a daily bases blows my mind. Could you imagine carrying day to day another person draped over you.
Who said that?

Freaking inspiring. Good job ! you worked so incredibly hard, pushed through and not give up.
I love how she's says "don't be discouraged because you will always fail at your diet"
"You need to know when to get back on your diet"
It's true because even if you're in great shape, you have your slip ups in your diet. Nobody is perfect
So it's important to know that
I need to get comfortable with failure....
She had really nice skin! Her complexion is amazing 😍
Story of my life this was so inspiring. When I get to my goal weight I will have lost the same amount of weight and the thought of all the loose skin I will have scares me, but I can't stop going.
Congratulations. You look outstanding. Keep it up and always remember that it's an "inside job". And that inside is you liking you and knowing that you are worth all the effort. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Thank you for saying be consistent. I've lost 100lbs since my heaviest and that's the thing I tell everyone. What really matters is what you can do consistently. Little by little over time. Don't be discouraged. So happy for your positive transformation!
You lost the whole amount of ME! Proud and inspired. Ty
It's amazing!!! I'm so proud of this woman! I struggle with weight myself.
I'm so proud of her❤❤❤
I love this so much. So inspiring and encouraging. You're so beautiful and I'm so proud of you even though I don't know you. You conquered an insurmountable challenge that so many people underestimate the difficulty of. You go, girl!! You look amazing!! 👏👏👏👏❤❤💓💗💜💟💜💗💕💛💗💓❤💜💗💛💕💚💙💓💗💜❤💜💗💛
Yaaaas🥰
So proud of you! Keep up the good work you look great!!!
I feel like overeating is an eating disorder like anorexia. It's a coping mechanism. You eat to feel good, just like you dont eat to feel good. But food shouldn't be a therapist! It should just be nutritious.
Congratulations!! Keep up the great work!
i was overweight before 82kg 171cm age 14 and i lost 40kg in 6 month from extreme dieting.i took my dieting to far now i am trying to gain a few kgs to become healthy
And she lost it without a gastric bypass. Strong woman.

Congratulations on your weight lose dear! You did it! Stay fit and healthy :) To those who are struggling out there, don't give up!
Thank you❣
Dude best skin removal surgery done ever, wow looks amazing
I have loose skin myself (from going from a size 16 to a size 8) and I hate it. Whenever I look in the mirror, I get a rather dysmorphic view of my body because I see loose skin as fat even though it isn't. I also have big stretch marks across my stomach which stops me from being open to wearing a bikini
Congratulations, you’re story is very inspiring. Stay fit & healthy, Its So easy to gain weight & So hard to loose it. I struggle too.
Omg that mirror scene frustrates me. I wanted to see how she looked.
Huge achievement,well done!
I think she posted her progress on reddit once. Good job!

I love her taste in music! (At least based off of her t-shirts!!)
That was a good little note, admitting that the journey was difficult and she did falter and gained pounds back - but then of course lost it again. I feel like it’s easy to watch these and just assume they dieted and exercised without fail until they lost all the weight. Especially for someone like me who has their struggles with the dietary side. Great job! You look ammmaazing!
I like to watch video like these where the person is very honest about they weight loss journey showing you the bad and the good...
Great work! You're a role model for anyone who doesn't know where to start

But see this is what’s wrong with America’s sizing right now. I’m just shy of 5’7” and currently fluctuating between 114-118 and I’m swimming in an extra small now at 32 but my clothes from ten years ago are a size small and fit wayyy tighter than extra smalls fit me now. She shouldn’t be the smallest size offered. Clothes are huge on me now from almost everywhere except like zara. It’s ridiculous. She looks great but she shouldn’t be fitting a size extra small.
Well done girl 👍🏻👍🏻
Amazing dedication!! Brava!! 🥳
There’s such a lack of understanding the deep connection regarding obesity and mental health even within the healthcare. In society and healthcare staff view it as a food issue, when the thing that got the person that size is sue to mental health issues. Just like some in high school will drink until they pass out or are always the one up for a ”party” when it’s just an escapism due to severe mental health issues too. All the stigma and predjudice about who and why someone is acting outside of the norm must be looked into so people can get help earlier on. Because no addiction be it substances, gambling, food etc will never go away because a person without mental health issues will mock them, scare them or exclude them etc. Just like they probably wouldn’t tell a suicidal person to ”get over it” or ”you’re just lazy and don’t want to be happy”. Empathy has to be exdended to more than just a few mental health issues and not just the nes people are willing to sort of try to understand. Sit down with any overweight/obese person and you’ll probably hear them share more than one trauma if they will trust you to respect them (some will have an inhealthy weight due to a physical reason, but that is a small percentage and majority of the cases will be tied to mental health).
CONGRATULATIONS! YOU ARE AMAZING
Congratulations! I'm so happy for you :)
