One of my earliest exposures to classical music, at age 5. Listen to the cacophony of your daily grind, including from all music genres and then listen to this in the evening. You will be an ennobled spirit.
Actually, this lock-down is such a lovely opportunity to listen to these recordings. One can exploit the absence of myriad sounds that a bustling city always seems to have, and listen to these 20 - 30 min exposition of classical raag-s in peace. Thanks for your comment. :)
Archisman Mozumder absolutely!!! Among the plethora of Corona forwards was one which said, we have been cribbing about a lot of things always that we don’t get time we don’t spend time with family or we don’t eat home cooked food etc.. this lockdown is a Tathastu for all those cravings. So now when we have it let’s make the most of it. And what better way than making it musical :-)
Panditji's gayaki is mesmerizing as always and even the tabla player and harmonium player have accompanied so well. I think even their names should have been mentioned.
I have a peculiar observation that all the maestros have some hidden gems in their not-so-famous short renditions of small ragas in gramophone records. Think AK in Barwa, BGAK in Desi, UK in Deshkar, MM in Khat. This is another one, also Ugich Ka kanta, equalling AKK, the original.
पंडितजी चा मी फॅन आहे माझे जवळ सिद्धी चा 12 कॅसेट चा संच 20 वर्षा पासून आहे
I have had the pleasure of hosting Panditj at my grandfather's home in Malegaon!
This was one of the earlier, popular vinyl L P records of Pandit Ji, many thanks Dada 🙏
This was the first cassette I heard of Panditji and still my favorite tape of his and my favorite Puriya ever.
सुखद अनुभूती
I have had the pleasure of listening to Panditji, several times, in Savai Gandharva mahotsav.

Thanks for sharing! This may be my favourite Puriya by Panditji (or anyone else for that matter). He was at his absolute peak in the 60s and 70s
Puriya by Pandit Joshiji is a meditation. Amazing.
Thank you 🙏🙏
किती भाग्यवान आहे पंडित जी सारखा गंधर्वांचा आवाज आम्हाला ऐकायला मिळाला
One of my favourites amongst my cassette collection 30 yrs back....again...चिरस्मरणीय आणि ऊत्तम राग प्रस्तुतीकरण....

The tabla exponent's name is mentioned in the description of the video.
That is all the LP has, as information.
@@ArchismanMozumder thank you Archisman ji can you please tell me the name of harmonium player?
@@ninadpasarnikar9984 It might be Tulsidas Borkar Ji. But not 100% sure
Tabala Vasant Achrekar
Soulful performance

Short forms for the legendary maestros is little brain- scratching.
I always cherish the perfect harmony of recording in old hmv authenticity.
अद्भुत🙏 ❤🙏🎶
