Durga is sweet Hindustani raga. In Carnatic Sudha Saveri, Aarabhi and a host of other ragas echo the similar tune and feel. Pls listen to Dr. Balamuralikrishna ji or Dr. Semmangudi Sreenivasa Iyer and then you will know the vast raga plains in Carnatic music!!!!

This is a very fine recording, indeed. Another one which is also a favourite of mine, is Amjad Ali Khan's recording of the early 70-s.
