    Love the Tuono 660 Factory. I've had mine for a few months and driven over 7000kms on it already. It's abselutely amazing. Handling, comfort and noise. Wouldn't trade for a thing. Came from a cbr1000rr. The Tuono Factory is much more fun, and so much prettier. Plenty fast with the short gearing and up and down Quick shift! Did I mention the noise, it's insane. UA-cam does not show the noise at all. So much base in real life. Sounds like at moto gp bike at high revs.
    Been driving for 8 hour trips, still super comfortable.
    BTW: The wheelie control sensitivity follows the traction control level. So it can be adjusted along with the traction control. Just not seperately.
    On max level the bike barely lets you apply any throttle. On minimum you still have some traction control and it will allow some wheel lift.
    The on/off option is additional and gives you the option to turn wheelie control off whilst still keeping traction control on. I use this on my individual setting.
    Traction control and wheelie control has 8 levels.
    Engine brake has 3 levels.
    Abs has 3 levels (last one deactivates rear abs).
    Engine map has 3 levels.
    Wheelie control also has on/off seperately from traction control as mentioned.
    You have commute mode (pre set mode, more like a rain mode).
    Dynamic mode, good active mode to drive in.
    Individual mode, set everything to whatever you want.
    Then you have the two race modes (one of which you can set up everything yourself). In race mode you can adjust traction control from level 1 to 8 whilst driving. This is adjusted with the cruise control buttons (cruise control is not available whilst in race mode).
    In race mode you also have a lap timer that can record many laps which you can see in the screen afterwards.
    If you have any questions just ask.

      hey there, I purchase one with complete akrapovic and race configuration. I am still waiting for the beast, but I am curious, coming from a CBR1000rr... you really like the bike? I mean, my only fear is the horse power, little bit lower than the competitors. your sensations regarding horse powers coming from a BEAST like a CBR 1000rr please? and also, have you go into some circuit? sensations?? thank you!

      @@Diandrae I like to drive fast in the corners, so to me straight line speed is not that important. However the Tuono does 0-60 in around 3 seconds, this is the same as a cbr1000rr. The difference in speed is more present above 120km/h.
      1000cc bikes are to much for the road in my experience, so you can't use the power. On the Tuono you can use the power and all of the revs. Super fun bike. Going to go on track next year with it.
      Cbr1000rr you loose your license in 1st gear.. much more fun when you can use 3 gears on the Tuono on the road i think.
      Keep in mind that this is Tuono 660 Factory we are talking about, I have not tried the stock Tuono 660.
      They have different gears, suspension, power + factory also has Quick shifter and 6 axis IMU

    Loving it. Been about 30 years since I rode my BMW 100R in the UK and France, and wow, things have come a long way since then. In my 50s, this 660 Factory is probably about right for me in New Mexico and Arizona. Great honest review.

    I’ve a 2021 660, not the factory. I enjoy it a great deal, and I imagine that the slight bump in power is great. I had to buy a quick shifter and I didn’t get an IMU for it but I felt like it isn’t necessary for everyday riding. I am sure on a track that would be cool. If the standard tells me anything, it’s that continuing to improve the tuono 660 even in small ways is worth it but not totally necessary. Improvement is the right thing to do even though it’s a great bike to start with.

    Nice review and good riding skills in track. Considering changing my street triple rs, but lots of posts online about iffy reliability on the new 660 engine and electronics borne out by the failed Misano shifter and then on this one going into first. Not sure if I’m brave enough and the Triumph is fault free. Keep up the good work 👍🏻

      Its suppose to have pretty much the same peg clearance as the RS660. Its what makes its a better naked track bike than others like the ZH2 which as low pegs & will scrape at the track.

    Great bike and very capable but surprised they call it a ‘Factory’ with out throwing carbon, Ohlins, Stylema’s and Akrapovic at it. A ‘S’ moniker would have been better for this upgrade over the standard RS.

    • @danielandrew24

  • @RikkyTang
    @RikkyTang Рік тому

    It's a shame that the Aprilia 660's miss multi-level wheelie control... I was just watching an old Lamb Chops vid on the Speed RS at Oulton and it's basically the with that... the bike just looked frustrating to ride fast. Flexible WC is what you need to let you pin that throttle and keep accelerating, it's the 21st century way!

    • @SuperShowJonesy
      @SuperShowJonesy Рік тому

      What is WC control? Is it as obvious as it sounds? Adjusts power to the wheel to stop the front end coming up?

    • @RikkyTang
      @RikkyTang Рік тому +1

      @@SuperShowJonesy yeah that's it, some bikes do let you choose how much Wheelie Control you want (also known as anti-wheelie) so you can choose your own level between showing off and keeping front wheel down and accelerating 😁
