Mega Props to Suppy and Grimm. I can't think of a better Duo to build a Badass machine. I'm not a Halo fan but I can appreciate anything built by these gentlemen. Well done fellas, well done.
I think this warthog is supposed to be the one in Halo spartan assault/strike and thats why it looks like that, but yeah that thing could had definitly looked better.
@@randy4487 Eh, in his defense, he probably wasn't expecting loud noises on his afternoon walk. Plus....a twin turbo, 1000 hp Ford Windsor V8 is gonna be borderline painful to listen to up close, even at idle.
Makes me think back to all the random episodes where they would say things like "can't show this 'cuz it's a secret." I hope to hear more dialogue about secret cars being worked on. This was an amazing surprise build and an amazing series can't wait to see what they do next.
This is just amazing it puts a hole new perspective on builds like these. People always say when they're building a movie/ video game etc car that they had to sacrifice this and that for it to look right. This is no sacrifice and looks amazing.
@@evanshinn337 I was going to say... Now don't tell these guys because they did an absolutely amazing job and it looks great... Mostly.... Did anyone else look at it and think "hmm I don't know what it is but something about this just doesn't look like a warthog to me..." It seems like it should be a lot longer, a bit lower, wider, the back doesn't even look like a warthog at all... Red Jerry cans? Wtf? Why take artistic liberties when you're trying to do a replica.... I didn't see the rear end that great but I don't see the thin rectangular tail lights? Honestly, the overall body shape is about a two or three out of ten for me as far as how exact of a replica it is to the source material. I think I'm being gracious here. The warthog that I remember, and I could be wrong here because it's been a while, but it was way more sleek and aerodynamic looking... The back where the gun sits, the sides are closed in and sloped up from like a foot from the very rear of the vehicle, at about a 30 degree angle or so, then come up to where they ended abruptly, went 240 degrees or whatever it was downward to make something of a shielding for the driver as it came down behind their head like something of a wall... That was a terrible teeeerrrriibbblleee description between trying to remember, and trying to find the words... But it wasn't just open bars like they have here... The body on this thing looks big and chunky too, whereas the sheet metal on the warthog looks very minimal and designed for lightness. It was square and angular, while at the same time curvaceous and flowing... Futuristic looking. Not like the jeep/volkswagen bug/Suzuki Samarai turned dune buggy, that your buddies dad swears he's going to fix up one of these decades, and has been taking up the entire garage since you met him in 1st grade. Your buddy obviously has plans to inherit this thing long before dad dies and turn it into a thing of legend. Neither will happen of course, but you get what I'm talking about right? Obviously the warthog is a video game vehicle and it may be impractical to expect exacts here... But I can't help but think they could have gotten it much much closer. This looks like a tank on wheels, military vehicle of the last three decades, moreso than it does a vehicle of the future designed for high speed, fast paced battle in impossibly terrained battlefields whilst fighting extra terrestrial invaders. Anyway, despite all of that they did a phenomenal job, obviously worked their ASSES OFF, added some really cool touches and ended up making something incredibly special, even if a warthog it is not. I give them props still.
@@danielnelson4881 Thank you for being honest. I understand the massive amount of work that went into this but it does not look like a Warthog to me. The wheelbase, ride height, length is all wrong.
Really digging this series! Y'all did such a good job keeping it a secret during the move. Hope y'all are settling in well at the new office. I'm sure it'll be too small in no time! 😎

I am seeing Suppy, being chased by the police, helicopters hovering, screaming; "You will not take it from me" Alex in the back, shooting potatoes out of a potato canon mounted where the turret will be. Jokes aside, awesome work!
Such an awesome and detailed recreation of the warthog and the old prop studio literally puts in zero effort on the one thing they were asked to build.
7:39 Why is the leftmost Jerry can a lighter shade of red? Ran out of same color, or was white primer used on that one vs. black primer for the other two?
