- Now that our #Halo #Warthog is done, it's time to put it through the good ole fashion Scumbag Break-in process! How can we call it done otherwise?? Scotto and Ron did a great job taking credit (also known as appreciating) for Suppy and Alex’s hard work on the Warthog with a classic "we did it", but it's really hard not to love everything about this thing! Faux patina isn't our thing but considering this is a fantasy car that "we" built in real life "we" wanted to give it all the vibes and speed up the scumbag aesthetic process. Throw a little bit of Hert’s trademark burnout patina (patent pending) and Master Chief will be proud. Now go enjoy the FINAL episode of our Halo Warthog build!

They really just seemed to drybrushed with gun metal and few other colors. Its a pretty easy technique to learn to do.

@@jordanaraujo2579 yes they are and the turret is actually built just not mounted for this video. They're working on a replica of what was depicted in the game, but that will surely take some time.

Watching mans paint the weathering/wear on the hog was dope, this build is definitely the best one yet
10/10. Second best build from from You guys (after the Hoonicorn) imho. Gotta Love it! Have you noticed how manacing it looked when it lifted it's front when doing burnout? Damn! Alex and Suppy did a great job, respect!

All through this build I thought the dimensions were way off, but 1:54 shows the dimensions are actually damn near perfect. That is an incredible feat considering real life engineering doesn't usually translate into video game replicas, especially if you also have the goal of wanting to make it absolutely badass rather than slow as shit

it was a awesome and beautiful project, nice suspension, wonderful tires, powerful motor and all the accessories are awesome. It looks thin, it should look wider. but, anyway I love it.
There is a balance of function and form when it comes to building a video game car in real life.

We don't have years of thrashing to make the video game car look like it does in the video game. Faux patina isn't our thing but we have goals and an aesthetic to hit.

Still, I guess the same logic applies. Doing weathering isn't really your expertise and to have it look good it was probably best to farm this one out.
