I did this a while back on my Gen1 Raptor and it needed a few more parts to make everything work for a 2014 model.

@@christhomas1384 Mine does not however yours should work as long as you swap over your control button packs to the new Raptor Steering Wheel. I swapped mine over so I wouldn’t have issues with the new steering wheel because the buttons were different.

Installed this on my gas 2019 super duty about 6 weeks ago. I have an STX so wanted leather steering wheel. I don't manually shift it much but do enjoy using it to lock out gears when pulling the trailer.. Which I do a lot... Because I bought a gasser :). Oh, Colt, I bought two sets of those 1 gauge cables with Anderson connectors built in. Going to wait till it cools down to install them though.

i wonder if its possible to do this with a 2021/22 f150 steering wheel with the newer style steering wheel. i watch a tear down video and the only difference i saw was the air bag plug look different and the center bolt had a different head. i think the newer steering wheels look sick!

My 2018 has sport mode. Have you tried it in that mode? Just turn off the TC and push the TC button twice fast. It will say sport mode if you have it.

I just installed mine. For some reason if you start removing the air bag from the right side first it is easier hell, I don't know why. I tried the same thing Colt did and had the same pain in the butt issue when working on the left side first.

Okay, installed mine today. The airbag was a bitch until I found a note about the diameter of a tool to pop it loose. Basically anything wider than a wire coat hanger won’t fit in the plastic channel to release the spring clip. At least on a 19 250. Also, anyone swapping the controls between the bezels, the fasteners take a T7.

S&S disaster prevention kit for the cp4 pump.
I’m using the SPE Disaster Prevention Kit on my 2016
There is no CP4 pump failure problem. There is only user error. Here’s how to help prevent problems.
1) Do NOT put gas in your fuel tank
2) Do NOT put DEF in your fuel tank
4) drain your water separator often
5) Change your fuel filters often
6) Always run a quality fuel additive every fill up
@@Brandonpowerstroke true only 1% CP4 failure rate in Europe cause there diesel fuel is better. 5-6% faluire rate in USA cause diesel fuel in some states doesn't have high enough lubricity. Our standards for diesel in US have higher wear scar specs compair to EU
If you have a platinum like I do, mines also a 17, it will not fit. There is more electronics inside and a electronic clock spring. I bought the same wheel and harness, sucks.

Yea if you have adaptive steering it won’t work but it will if you have adaptive cruise, you will just have to swap controls. If you click the f250 harness link it has a explanation of it. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

I've got a 2015 platinum that I want to replace the wheel with the raptor wheel, but the buttons dont all match perfectly. Do you know how easy it is to switch some (but not all) of the buttons? The current wheel is acting up where some of the media buttons aren't working all the time (some erroneous presses), so I want to use most of the new wheel's buttons as well. Can I just swap individual buttons without using the the entire bezel?
