You would think today would help...Oct 26th, 2019. Baghdadi, the real founder of ISIS was killed again in a U.S. led campaign. Trump has already said his death is bigger then the death of Bin Laden.

Baseball players shut down the outside world and just play ball. They didn't know what was going on and they didn't care, they wanted to win and go home.
Among the people in the stadium, the players were the last to find out. I believe the Mets hitter who is at bat in this clip was from Canada, so some may have thought the Phillies fans were taunting him.

I remember this day. My family was watching America’s Funniest Home Videos. It was just before the announcement of the winner. The TV cut to the news report and my mom shushed both my brother and I. We didn’t know why this was so important at the time and I always laugh at myself about how I was angry that we never found out who won that episode.
Remember this day like 9/11. I was at work when the rumors went around, about a hour later Obama came on & confirmed what we were reading from our phones & news stations. Still brings emotion to this day. I still remember exactly what I was doing, where I was standing, and who was around me.
A friend of mine was living with me at the the time...he had just broken up with his fiancé and asked me if he could stay with me for a little while. I said no problem thinking that meant just a couple weeks until he found his own apartment. Well, he ended up staying with me for like 2 years until I eventually threw him out. Anyway, while we were living together I used to take baths like every night. I just really liked to do it. I found it relaxing and I would just sit in the tub and read. One night I’m in the tub and my roommate knocks on my bathroom door and says “You might want to come out and watch tv.” I’m like “Why?” He says “We killed Osama Bin Laden. The President is about to make a speech.” So I jumped out of the tub and watched his speech. I’m a Republican and didn’t overly care for some of Obama’s policies, but he definitely nailed that speech. And then I can’t remember if it was that night or later on when they started talking about SEAL Team 6...I had never heard of them. We’ve all heard of the term “Special Forces” and I believe the Army’s Delta Squad was pretty well known, but I think SEAL Team 6 was secret. It was secret to me at least. I still remember texting with my brother and I was like “What’s SEAL Team 6?” and he just responded with “I don’t know but they’re the best we’ve got.”
I'll still never forget being in grade 8 when the towers came down. I'm Canadian, our classroom was one of the few with a tv (on wheels) in it almost full time. I remember about 5 minutes after the first tower was hit they turned the tv on, class stopped, then the second tower was hit. About 10 minutes later school was cancelled and we were all sent home. Years later I remember watching this game, definitely the most pride I've ever felt towards another country. Was incredible to watch. I wish I could have been in the stands. If only this America could come back today. What has happened to this nation that was so great just a few years ago?
I was watching a movie with my wife when my sister told me to turn on the news and we saw and celebrated like the Yankees won the World Series at Yankee Stadium. Truly great day for ALL Americans.
I was at the game. People slowly started chanting as the news spread, but I still had no idea what was happening. Then I heard a guy in the row behind me say "they got Bin Laden". It was wild. I think the Phillies lost, but I honestly don't even remember because that moment kinda overshadowed the whole game.
At the time, I was living in Manayunk, a suburb of Philadelphia. The town is full of bars and restaurants, so it is always quite noisy. I remember this day as the loudest night, as the chants of "USA USA !!!" kept going on even though it was late night. I am back in Japan now, but in my three years of living in the U.S., I had never seen Americans so patriotic. I will always remember living in the old capital of the United States on that historic day.
I was only a toddler when 9/11 happened so I don't remember it at all but I vividly remember the morning after this I was listening to the radio while getting ready to catch the bus to school when they broke the news that bin laden had been killed and played have you forgotten by Darryl Worley it's crazy to me that it's been longer since that day than it had been since 9/11 at the time
this might have been the first time I ever saw the social media play a big role in the news. and I was saying wow this is something big I never realized how big it was going to be in the future as well looking back.
I was in jr high school. We got the news that night and heard the national anthem on repeat over the loudspeakers the next morning when we filed in to homeroom.
I remember watching this wondering why/who they are cheering for. I was like when did Philadelphia start that as a rally cry. Found out why, my friend and I got so drunk lit off fireworks and was so proud to be American
Possibly one of the most amazing moments in US history. This is why baseball is America's national past-time. We need to remember that it isn't every muslim. it's less than 1% of them that are the terriorist. All i can say is USA USA USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember being at home with my dad that day, and my mom (who was a WH staffer at the time), texted my dad to immediately turn on the news, and we just sat there in shock as President Obama announced that Bin Laden was hunted down and killed by the United States.

I was in 8th grade. That night before I was heading to bed my sister bursts into the room: "DWAYNE WE GOT HIM!!!" "...what...?" "Come downstairs!" So I came downstairs, right before Obama's address. He said those words confirming that monster's death and I just bear hugged my sister for a whole minute. It was so shocking but amazing at the same time! The next day at school as soon as I walked in, me and one of my friends literally ran over to each other and hugged.
