A very wrong approach is the issue of decisions from an ideological perspective. And human emotions do not always go hand in hand with reason, most often they do not. Usually it is so that too many civilians die and the benefits are not always adequate to the intended ones. There are many more to list... Current wars show this. The current war between Israel and Hamas, civilian deaths are definitely above the norm and on both sides. The Kremlin has made a decision about this war, but the effect will be different from the intended one, after this war, as it is estimated, the crises in the Russian Federation will be as big as several times harder than 1991 in Russia.
