How about making your daughter a little Love Note? So quick and beautiful. Hope to order on Boxing Day. My plan is always to read a whole book and let the family feed themselves off the abundant leftovers
Such lovely sweaters! I'm feeling inspired by your colour palettes and a seed of a Paul Klee sweater has been planted. 🌱🌈Coloured squares is not an easy look to pull off but you've managed it - hope your son loves it - how could he not? Wishing you happy holidays and of course happy holiday knitting! 🎄🧶🎄🧶🎄🧶
Hi Tanis! Loved this episode! Could you please tell me the colourway that you are holding up with the coral tweed (pale grey-purple?)around 11:00 so I can prepare for the update. That combo is killer! How much smaller, in general, do you find a pattern written for worsted is when you knit it in dk? Thanks!
Ooh that beautiful skein is in our Yak colourway and I'm afraid it's not purple, it must be the lighting! It's a neutral warm beige/grey. Hmm, I'm not sure that there is a hard and fast rule about how much smaller the same project in DK is vs. Worsted. It really depends on needle size and pattern specifics. But based on a presumed gauge of 5 STS per inch in worsted and 5.5 STS per inch in DK it's about a 10% difference.
You're so cute. And I mean that as a compliment. I cannot wear my son's clothes, as he is a beanpole, and me, not so much. haha I wish we could all share knits, but unless it's scarves and such, just not possible.
I'm actually making it for my middle son who is 7. ☺️ All of the colours will be available on Boxing Day but I don't intend to make a kit at this point as the yardage requirements for yarn held double in a sweater with so many available sizes makes my head spin!
Love the sweatpants idea ❤
Love the sweatpant idea! I live in sweats....
Oh yay! I'm glad you're as excited about it as I am. ❤️
Love all the sweaters!! I have plans for a Swish Scarf Christmas Eve cast-on, but I'm itching to cast on early! It's such a beautiful scarf
I'm looking forward to boxing day! Love the sweaters. The one you're wearing looks great.
Thank you! An instant casual favourite for sure.

The Paul Klee sweater is such a fun knit! You'll enjoy every second of knitting that glorious yoke.

Sharing scarves and hats is a pretty sweet deal too!
I love the tweed sweater you are making for your 9 year old and I’d like to make one for my own 9 year old. Is there a possibility of a kit??
