I have a gen 1 black dial monster Japan model with Arabic day. I finally bought a first Gen orange Japan made monster the other day and I can’t wait to get it. Been years since I have wanted one. Definitely special watches for sure.
I have the 1first generation of The Monster Orange 🍊is one my favorite pieces of my collection. I bought it for around 65 dollars ,I believed was the beginning of the Monster collection so yeah is my favorite pieces at that time I didn't know knowledge about the Monster collection I wish knew sooner, now I know how rare this pieces are......thank you for sharing this review with us....👍👍cheers...
The green one is awesome. Sadly it's one of the most expensive ones to get. I stick with the black version because i got it fpr 200 instead of nearly 2000
Nice and informative review! I have first gen orange with 7S26 C mechanism. I prefer the orange colour, as it has a retro character of colours 80s or early 90s . I also prefer the earlier TG2 versions over R2 because R2 are more vibrant and lumins are more greenish , and I like more the duller orange of TG2 (there were two versions of orange colours of 1st gen monster).

Great review Steve, keep up the good work. You have a SZEN001 missing, there should be 6 night monsters not 5.

However the true monster by definition is the fang bloody monster SRP313 without the prospex logo (I own one BTW).

There is an argument for the Fang being the most iconic, but for me personally gen 1 will always be the original & best!
