Thank you for the install instructions of the Benk tempered glass screen protector. I had not found a video on this elsewhere and the directions for the install that came with the screen protector were sparce. Now, it wasn't difficult to install at all but I wanted to ensure that I was doing it right!
I picked Benks for four reasons:
1. Decent drop and scratch protection for the screen.
2. Anti-Glare! One of the selling points for the S24 Ultra is the anti-glare screen. Most screen protectors would negate this feature and add tons of glare. Happy to report the Benks lives up to its advertising. Very minimal change to this beautiful screen with the protector on.
3. Fingerprint resistant. I had smudgy looking screens. The Benks protector does look like it will help with this!
All-in-all happy with the purchase with one caveat and that being the install. When I pealed off the glass protector from the film, the adhesive side of the glass literally was a dust magnet!! I did my best to get that off with the stickers before install, but man this thing could really benefit from a closed environment install like some others have. As a result, there is a tiny barely noticeable little hair underneath the glass protector. Very hard to see and only at a certain angle, but my OCD is going to take over. Down a star on what seems to be otherwise a great protector choice for the S24 Ultra.
I consider the ArmorAir probably the best minimalist option available right now. It got the looks, the magsafe functionality and the best thing is price.
Definitely the price, because thinborne and pitaka are taxing lol
i think u never tried to charge wirelessly right? Just try and u will see how good benks magsafe really is, its the biggest crap
@@anubis2960 I do.. This case is overall good for it's price. The other options are double the price and not twice as good.

I wanted this case to work out so bad, but unfortunately, if you use the swipe gesture, your finger will drag on this case if you're not using a glass screen protector. Latercase wes the same way, so i went with pitaka

Im pretty convinced in your review, ive been eyeing it for my s24ultra. So I will order a armorpro and sapphire glass lense protector, currently using a Whitestone Glass on my screen and my phone is struggling reading my finger print. Ill be using your code. Thanks!
Me too wasted my money on a Whitestone dome it's terrible , and I have dry finger tips 😢 had to remove it. FP Works fine now (S24 Ultra)
Yet again fantastic, in depth review. I appreciate that 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I think I'm going to get me an Air model as I already own Spigen Rugged Armour for my S24 Ultra. The titanium frame is ridiculously fragile, so it needs protection all day around. Today I bumped my S24U into glass panel on my coffee table and already nicked that metal. Disappointing, to say the least. It was really gentle nudge and since when tempered glass is tougher that Ti? 😂😂😂 Cheers!
Normal glass scratches at a level 6, with deeper grooves at a level 7, titanium scratches at 5, and you have to remember it's the cheaper less stronger version grade 2 titanium.
My experience with the Armor Pro was this, the case feels GREAT, construction is GREAT, protection is GREAT, the magnet is GREAT, but, here comes the bad part (for me), the magsafe charging is finicky, I have to move it for it to start charging and sometimes it doesn't charge at all. It's disappointing because I really LOVED the case!
You're probably not using a 15 watt wireless charger.. qi2
@@cody5495 nope, the problem is simple, its overheating, thats why it stops charging, i had both benks cases (same problem and i have a lot of wireless charging stations), just read the amazon critics
Are the camera protectors compatible with cases from other brands? Ringke, spigen... how is the photography quality? I appreciate someone who can help me...

Well I skipped forward to the drop test as NO 1 SEEMS TO BE TESTING ANY OF THESE CASES SO nice to see you did... BUT WTH! U DIDNT TEST THE CASE! I want to see fold, bend, drop give me some idea of what it feels like! It looks so thin (which is cool) but how is it in hardness? Thickness on flex ext..?

Looks nice but I prefer the Spigen Enzo with its metal buttons, it was only £23 from amazon.

I'm a big fan of the anti glare/reflection coating on the s24U screen. It wasn't mentioned in the video but how was glare/reflection with the screen protector on?
I would also like to know! I've had the S24U for 4 months now and its coating has been a game-changer, especially outside. I haven't used a screen protector this whole time and would like to know if the screen protector would just ruin it 😮
I just bought it and tried it, and it's not as good as the coating on the phone, but it's pretty close. 👍📱

Does the magnet on these magsafe cases cause focusing issues when trying to use 5x-100x zoom? I have the ESR magsafe case and my S24 ultra struggles to focus in from 5x up to 100x zoom when I have the case on.
I think yes, my Armor Pro struggles from 3 to 5x
@glx999999 thanks for letting me know that. It seems clear to me now that our phones are just not meant to work with magsafe cases or any magnet accessories very well.

@@chrissuarez8075 I think it will...... I just bought it but im returning it. When the case is on the phone and u shake it or pick it up u can hear the metal part hitting the camera and that annoys me so im taking it back

no, they wont work, io tried two of them, the benks armor air and armor pro
The aircase is so nice and in good quality but is the hardest case to off..
Do a drop test on concrete want to see the damage to the exposed areas yeah!!!!!!

In my version of the "armor case" the metal protection for the cameras flies up/down hitting the phone with every movement. Because of this, the phone has become a rattle and is impossible to use. Is this normal?

Pitaka if you use swipe gestures. Your finger will drag on this case. Same with Latercase. Only other option I've seen is Thinbone
