That group painting idea is genius! Love that. Also, the fiber paste application looks like so much fun. I use Daniel Smith's watercolor ground for painting on my sketchbook pages to cover failed paintings and re-use the paper. It's not runny like that one and while it isn't exactly like painting on paper, it absorbs better. It needs to cure before using. My favorite one is the black, but I like the white too. Thanks for this video. Just found you thanks to @JackieWolven and glad I did! ♥
Oh Christie, thank you for being here! Isn't @jackiewolven so wonderful? I LOVE her channel! And I am grateful to her for giving me a shoutout! Anyway, I have heard about Daniel Smith's ground also, though haven't tried it. Love the idea of covering failed paintings. Very curious about the black...do you then use gouache on the black?
First, I always wondered what mediums were used to do this! Second, I'm not sure which one I liked better. The paste has almost a handmade paper feel, which is lovely, and the other looks just like a canvas. I think a watercolor artist would enjoy trying both, tbh. Fun video, Anne and I loved the intro to YOU in this!
I really loved those drips off the canvas. I love that I had already seen the group painting and now I see how it started and where the texture came from. I could see how this would be satisfying. Thanks for sharing new things with me. ❤❤ PS fiber paste looks fun to me.

@@annelivingstonart You can use gouache, gel pens, iridescent watercolor, pastels all sorts of things. It's a lot of fun!
@@polgara28 Oooh so great! I will definitely have to give this a try.

@@JackieWolven Thank you, Jackie! I only last night registered that I hadn't usually been introducing myself!

Fiber paste IS fun! There's a lot of potential there. YAY for those drips!
I love watching the process
Thank you, same here! In my opinion it's the most fun to watch how people do all the painting things...
What is going on with your channel ! AMAZING !!! so happy for you Anne ! YOU ROCK 🤩
@@evaellenjoan Thank you, Eva!! 😍💖
This was an interesting experiment Anne. As I watching I imagined using the texture paste for landscapes with trees, long grasses, snow, etc...
Oh, Kay, that would be so delightful! Would love to see the grasses and/or snow especially!
