Keep your battery charged, avoid shifting much on very bumpy roads and you should be fine. Let's hope Shimano will release software, that allows gear reset.
Hi Pav, I could fix this topic with the latest version with Shimano tool V5! You can check the status of derailleur and then get into a menue where you can tell position of derailleur and then reset it!
May I suggest using fixed focus on your camera? So that you hopefully don't have to fight it like you do and you can bring things in focus instead of the camera randomly bringing things out of focus. Your content is great, but the rapid movements of the parts you are showing and the focus issues make it very fatiguing to watch, at least for me...
You got a recommendation from Rides of Japan last week. He said you were making God's work on UA-cam. Keep it up, Pav.
@@ysarn He's very kind!
That's an amazing video. I hope my RD R8150 won't need such manipulations, but I saved this video just in case

@GeorgeD1 will try to improve. Thanks for the feedback.
Pav, how did you close the housing to get it watertight?
@Pastapit as I've mentioned in the video, I use a soldering iron (no more than 350 deg. I do 2 passes and melt two parts together. Plastic soldering.
