- In this video we take another look at the Oxi One Sequencer along with it's modular aid, the Oxi Pipe to show how to easily get up to 8 voices of true polyphony into your modular setup.
fantastic! finally a video about these fantastic feature!
You can even use the the OXI One internal Triggered Envelopes to save the external AD(SR) module
Thanks, very useful! Next time with the Oxi Coral ;)
Nicely explained ... Thank You 👍😊
Sounds fantastic.
has anyone tried this with the disting ex? the multisample player should work with 3 voices from the oxi one but it's not working for me
Great video! I don't know how Qu-bit chords works but I guess that this also will work with four separate oscillators. And I suppose the polyphony would work without the Oxi Pipe?
yep!
@@RobotsAreRed And now for the trick question. Does it work without the Oxi Pipe? I tried but it seems like I'm getting some sort of duophonic sound. When I hold one key down and press the next, the first and second sound together.
@@OttoMilde Yep, it works just the same without the pipe. Double check you set voice and trigger 2 for the second CV and gate outputs.
I think I figured it out! In CV and Gate voice allocation I switched to Unison. I'v only tried with two voices yet, but thanks for this incredible tip. Saved a lot not buing a polyphonic midi-interface!
@@OttoMilde Ah that explains it. It's super easy to add more voices too, up to 8. Just do the same thing you did for setting up two.
is it better than the Circlon sequencer?
Fantastic production values as always!
