@@somesmallfarmers5629 Appreciate that! Took a little break to welcome my 1st born son into the world! i think if you go to my video list and go to like my first video, it will be of my grandpa's 1066 and 5288. I think i was 16 at the time
Not this is when they built equipment. We still have our 1973, 966 and 1066 that we ordered in 1972. I was 17 at the time . My Sister has our 1466 that was bought new a couple years later. We also have a 1086 and a 766. The oldest IH we have is a H Farmall bought in 1946 right after WW 2 by my Grandfather. IH could find him one anywhere, he would not wait to have one built, so he bought it off the black market. Cost him more but, he had his tractor in time to put His crop in .
sharp 1086. nice 5288 . when I worked on the farms I drove from super M to 5488. the 5488 was a bad a-- tractor 6 rice and canes tires . seen it pull a 11 tine chilel plow on the frame .
Would love to see a full tour of all your equipment in a video - when you find time. Harvest all done or you all still have some corn or double crop soybeans?
How many acres do you farm with that equipment? I'm curious because I'm starting out and will be using equipment very similar to yours, even down the the 14 series combine.
how come the 1086 had duel rims on in side and out side maybe you have done a video on this b4 just wondering i seen it first on big tractor power that way
Nice. The old equipment runs just as good as the new.
I grew up on a 1066 and a 5288. very fond memories. Great to see them running!
Thanks l, love watching your channel, have been for a long time
