Logan Paul & KSI's PRIME Energy Drink Should Be Banned ('A CAULDRON OF CAFFEINE!') 😱

- Logan Paul & KSI's PRIME Energy drink contains 'a cauldron of caffeine!' It 'poses a serious health concern' due to this 'eye popping caffeine content' (Prime Energy contains as much caffeine as 6 cans of coke!!!) and it needs to be banned immediately in order to save the children!
Logan Paul & KSI should be ashamed of themselves for releasing such a horrifically dangerous product and marketing this cauldron of caffeine to young teens and kids through their massive social media followings with enticing, kid-friendly flavors like Ice Pop and Blue Raspberry.
...or should they be? Find out in today's video! Please remember to smash the like button, leave me a friendly comment down below, and share the video around so we can spread the good word! Happy Friday guys!

As for the under researched ingredient, I think its Glucuronolactone. I couldn't find much about it and only found papers from 2020 and 2022
Update: found some more papers from 1966, 1968, 2001, 2008 and a few more. But it seems so under researched in the sense that its market is booming and way too many people consume its products.
Winner winner!
It’s just marketing. It’s a crowded market and they all want to stand out. Personally I never touch them, I get through my workouts just fine without caffeine.
free publicity. makes sense
Father of an 8 year old checking in. When/if he asks for something of this nature, I tell him no. The end.
It's almost like you're parenting
what criminal.... how dare u try to rais a children in ethical ways... how dare u make us lazy loonatiks look bad
@@EnkiriElite It's a pretty solid strategy. Wish more parents would try it.
*laughs in father of six*
@@cjparkeffaking4551 my man said he'll do anything but pull out
My go-to, Ultra Monster energy is only 160mg but the java monsters are 200mg and I see kids prefer those. I only drink caffeine because I'm dealing with long-covid fatigue. These kids drinking energy drinks are pulling all-nighters and skipping lunches. Easily preventable if the parents showed responsibility by ensuring their kids get enough sleep at a proper time, eat enough throughout the day and get enough exercise. If they ban prime, like you said they're just going to get the caffeine through another of the thousands of drinks available. This doesn't solve anything.
Ive only felt like caffeine was dangerous when I was abusing the pills for horribly long shifts working inventory.
That'll do it! I don't personally consume more than 300mg per day myself as I find that it becomes more and more benefitless the more you actually consume.
@@EnkiriElite yeah it starts inhibiting gaba receptors at higher doses so it just gives more anxiety but not any more energy.
Im usually a good bit more angry and anxious with anything past 250mg. Guess I am just sensitive to it.
Yo I like how you expanding content bro keep it up I been watching you for a whilee now🤣I just don’t comment very educational vids you helped me get some serious strength under my belt thank you 👊💯
I'm leaning on either glucuronolactone or inositol. It seems like they only get included in new formulations because Red Bull did it.
edit: Huh, apparently I can't find the two on the Red Bull label now. I almost could've sworn they were on there… Maybe it was some other popular drink, dunnolol.
They are good, I’ll give them that. I’ll probably stick to coffee though ;)
However, I do enjoy their “hydration” drinks a lot.
"Cauldron of caffeine" is the perfect name for a hipster and arthoe oriented energy drink.
I hope a cafe opens up with this exact name....cauldron of caffeine, not hipster and arthoe
American energy drinks are wild lmao Reign in Canada here is only 180mg per bottle
You guys have regulations that limit the amount per serving. Imo, that's a silly way to do it because if you as a manufacturer want to skirt that it's easy enough to do, just concentrate the caffeine into a smaller serving size and then you maintain the product you actually wanted to sell. For example, you could just sell 2 6oz bottles that each contain 100mg of caffeine and pair them together. But you can't sell one 120z bottle with 200mg of caffeine. Dumb rule. Easy to skirt.
The real way to do it is to regulate the concentration of caffeine per Oz. Then I can make whatever serving size i want but I can't skate the rule.
Yeah it's not a fantastic system I agree, the only benefit of our supplements being highly regulated is protein generally has a very high quality without filler.
Those Prime drinks specifically didn't follow those regulations and shipped them here with the full 300mg though, which is why they're being specifically targeted in Canada to be taken off the shelf.
When questioned about this the company denied even shipping to our country LOL then backpeddaled and said they weren't meant to be shipped here, seems like as a business if they have zero oversite or accountability I'd rather spend elsewhere anyway
Bang Energy is my fave too, especially the 20g protein coffee ones. Here in the Netherlands there are only five flavors available unfortunately. I had a girlfriend in Ohio who'd send me the flavors that aren't available here but we broke up :(
In norway every drink they have here tastes like shit, except that apple one that ones fucking awesome
I'll date you and send some over bro 😂😂
@@nomadicstrength Cool. We're UA-cam Official now. Send me the Birthday Cake Bash and Key Lime Pie flavors 🤣
@@antipaganda5635 lmao I'll get right on that just give me your credit card info bae 😄
@@nomadicstrength You're not gonna send me those using your own money? This ain't gonna work.. we're breaking up 😭😥
Reign energy drink and some flavors of Rockstar also have 300 mg of caffeine per serving. Honestly, when I heard that 200 mg was in the Logan Paul energy drink , my first thought was that the people complaining were lying through omission or ignorant.
Yeah 200mg in a "normal serving" is very common. Like I said in the video, you can get pre-workout powders that have 400mg in a single scoop and no one bats an eye.
GFuel come in cans (the packaging on most appealing to kids) that have 300mg of caffeine per can like Bang.
Strange that they are being singled out. I prefer my 300mg reign energy drink. Though I've only ever used an energy drink twice, it's just not that crazy, but I can see how youths can rely on it too much.
Sipping 300mg of caffeine over the course of a few hours every now and again is a pretty tame vice in my opinion.
It's probably a marketing strategy set up by self-interested actors.
@YSIBfitnessyeah I believe that's what it is. You guys have stricter regulations than the US
I'm disappointed that reign discontinue the leichi flavored one
It isn't really. Logan has earned a lot of hate over the years from doing shit that angers the masses: filming dead people in a japanese forest, throwing extravagant parties that disrupt peace in the neighborhood and now recently his cryptozoo scam. So there are people who would want to get prime banned and i'm sure competitors are more than happy to help them.
Lol not even much caffeine compared to most.
5:57 I think the ingredient is taurine
I want the original Coca-Cola recipe to come back
Don't we all!
Red bull is for babies, two cans is nothing.
highschool age kids are ODing on fentanyl laced bars and people are concerned about energy drinks
Bars? Like Xanax bars?
@@sebastiansegovia1415 yeah bars are a problem in highschools and people take mimic presses of like percs and shit too. my sister's friend's bf OD'd and they found him dead. shit is fucked.
@@penumbrium Bars used to be my thing in High School I've been off in the head since childhood so when I discovered them it was love at first sight. I'm sure they where mimic presses too l, at least sometimes. But this was a good while back before fentanyl was a thing.
Good show cheers
I tried one like last week. It only has 200 mg of caffeine. The taste was just okay so I don't know if I'd try another but it's not anything crazy
"only" that's like half of the maximum dose per day ahah
@@dvsavocs5290 it's pretty common for energy drinks and pre-workouts are higher did you not watch the video?

never took coffee or tea or any caffeine products in form of energy drink. am i missing something
Politicians try not to invade on peoples personal lives and freedoms --- IMPOSSIBLE CHALLENGE
Seems like people love to demonize energy drinks... but only some of them. Regulations can be weird too. We have a law which states energy drinks can't have more than 160mg of caffeine, yet if the drink is something else, like flavoured milk or something, then the sky is the limit.
That's hilarious
@@EnkiriElite yeah it's interesting. We have a coffee espresso flavoured milk which has 285mg caffeine in just a 300mL bottle. Seeing as I like their brand of milk I gave it a go. I'm fine but for those sensitive to it, or kids, it's probably not the greatest idea lol.
Taurine
😀
energy drinks in general are unhealthy.... so what gives.. but at that point id rather get some cola-bear thou it aint the same... just learn to limit junk food and do universal rules... logan pauls evil product makes me laugh...ahaha. underreserched compound. interesting question
